This was a perfect place to stay for us. It was less than 20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Super clean, comfy beds. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

The cottage was very cozy. Fortunately, we only had one vehicle had we had two vehicles the parking would have been very challenging near impossible. The home was clean and we tried to leave it as we found it. There were no trash bags to replace and the cottage had we stayed longer. Overall a very pleasant stay very comfortable.

A wonderful little cottage with great Mountain View’s but yet so close to everything. You really feel like you are in the mountains- loved the bear, wild turkeys and other wild life that we saw from the porch. Will definitely stay there again.

Cute cottage, complete with all amenities. Comfy full sized beds. So quiet and dark at night, we both slept GREAT. Wild turkeys and a young bear walked through the yard. Good water pressure. Very nice host. Short drive to everything in Asheville.

A great stay over Memorial Day weekend! The cabin is as exactly described; close to downtown but far enough away for some real peace and quiet! The cabin is furnished nicely and equipped with all the basics in the kitchen and bathroom. Laundry room is a nice touch although I never used it. Plenty of towels and blankets for cold evenings. Signage to the cabin was clear and clearly marked; no issues finding the place even after dark. Wildlife abounds around the cabin! Saw the family of bears on a daily basis, turkeys walking around indiscriminately and even a bobcat through the front yard one evening! Highly recommended place to stay!

Sweet, clean cottage. Very quiet and comfortable. The hill to get down to it is a little scary at first but we got used to it. The front porch with rocking chairs was so relaxing. It had everything we needed including Internet and Netflix.

Will definitely try to stay there again.

The property was simple, comfortable, neat and clean. Surrounded by outdoor beauty and a variety of wildlife and birds. Note to managers: Could use extra vacuuming in bedroom and drains in bathroom were slow.

We stayed at this cabin while visiting Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The location was perfect for that. Great restaurants and shopping within reasonable distance. The cabin was cozy and quiet and we quite enjoyed watching the family of wild turkeys in the yard!

Perfect place for a getaway! Loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoying the Mountain Views. It has everything you need and is convenient to everything you’ll want to see and do in Asheville. Would stay again!

Very nice, modest house in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay here tremendously. Easy to get around to sites from this location, and then come back and relax in peace in the evening.

Less than a couple of miles from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place feels like it is deep in the heart of the mountains. It's a quiet retreat among nature's beauty. The owner has done a great job of providing the necessary amenities. Parking is a bit challenging, as the property is carved into the side of a mountain, but we managed to do so with an Expedition XL, so it's manageable. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this hillside cottage close to Asheville but out in the quiet country.

The scenery location everything was perfect exactly what I expected I definitely would recommend it.

Check in was a breeze, place was very comfortable for two people. The patio alone was worth the stay just to rock and watch the sunset or have an early morning coffee. It's just outside city limits and that's OK, everything was still very accessible via car or Uber. All amenities worked as expected and I would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

This property was perfect for our stay. The owners were great to work with. The property is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close to everything.

The cabin was exactly as listed. There is so much to do in Asheville that we didn’t spend much time at the rental but it was the perfect resting place. Far enough away from town to be out of the huddle and bustle but close enough to run back if you forgot something. Unit was clean and had everything we could have wanted. Hosts were quick to respond to messages. Would stay here again if we return to the area.

Host responded to all questions. The momma bear came up towards the porch. Saw many different wild life. Cabin was perfect for me and my mother. Had all the items we needed for our stay with the exception of grill utensils. We will come back.

The house was very cute and well maintained. There was lots of wildlife around. We saw turkeys and bears every day. One issue I had was the fact that the neighbor was feeding the bears every day which will eventually lead to major problems. Another issue I had was the fact that the thermostat, even though we would sit it at a temperature every time we turned around it would jump back up and be very uncomfortable. The owner admitted that she had an app on her phone that could control it. I’m not sure if she was controlling it or if it would just revert back to a certain setting after a few hours. It was very annoying. We were having to get up in the night several times to turn it back down.

Close enough to all the places to visit but far enough away to enjoy peace and solitude. We saw turkeys, birds, a turtle, rabbit, squirrel, a mama bear with her three cubs and two other bears one of which came strolling down the driveway and past us sitting on the porch. Definitely will check availability on this house when we head back to Asheville.

This house is settled perfectly right outside of Asheville. It is an eight minute drive to the Ashville Visitor Center. From there you can walk around or take the trolley to explore the city. After you have finished you can head on back to the house and watch nature frome the front porch. The next day you can head up the Blue Ridge Parkway and take in the view or hike the trails. The house is just perfect and met our needs and beyond.
