About this house rental
Located in Oklahoma, this attractive house for $215 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This unique cabin is nestled in peaceful Canyon Country Club just 10 minutes from West Texas A&M University, Panhandle Plains Historical Museum and downtown antique shops and coffee shops and a great choice of casual places to eat. It is just a quick 20 minute drive to Amarillo, TX or Palo Duro Canyon State Park, home of the world renowned musical TEXAS. This warm and comfortable rustic 3 bedroom, 2 bath hunting style cabin has been remodeled with all the modern conveniences. The living room, kitchen and dining area are perfect for a cozy dinner for two by the fireplace or for a small gathering of family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, flatware for eight and cookware for use in the microwave or oven and has crock pots and Keurig coffee maker with regular and decaf pods. There is also a refrigerator. The living area has free Wi-Fi and Smart TV, DVD player and some family friendly DVDs and board games and comfortable reclining sofa and love seat. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, quaint potbelly stove, antique dining table and chairs, desk and office chair and access to a fun private patio. There is a quaint bedroom adjacent to the master with a queen air mattress and is a perfect room for smaller children or a teenager who wants a hide away! The patio features a 6 place table and chairs, free-standing bar/outdoor kitchen with a small fridge, hot plate, electric grill and bar stools perfect for relaxing and enjoying views of the canyon walls and historic cave located on the property. A fun laser light display showcasing the surrounding canyon walls is a magical favorite of our guests. A separate bedroom features a queen size bed, nightstands and small writing desk and three-quarter bathroom with a shower. A closet has a luggage rack, robes, and some toys for small guests. .The main bathroom is located off the living area and has a shower, toilet, and quaint vanity. Two nice Gander Mountain cots and two sleeping bags and linens are also available for children or extra guests and the cabin has a yoga mat, robes, and a thermal bag for a picnic in the scenic canyon. The guest house is equipped with central heating/ac, linens and towels, toiletries, hair dryer, washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, clothes steamer, Keurig coffee pot / assorted k-pods and teapot and free parking on the premises. The cabin overlooks the private 9-hole golf course. The club house has a bar with views of the course and wildlife roaming the area. We only ask that our guests keep noise level low in consideration of the golfers. There is a large outdoor stone patio beyond the driveway with great views of the golf course and 6 piece patio table and chairs and an electric pellet grill and a portable sink and refrigerator for a fun family outing. There is a small strip to chip some golf balls or play cornhole with the family! The string lighting makes a fun night spot! This property is the perfect relaxing venue for a family or for a romantic get away for two! Book your next adventure and come experience the beautiful views and the gorgeous West Texas skies!

We needed a stay overnight for a long, one-way drive. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. It would be great for singles, couples or families. Canyon was a lovely town to visit, Our hosts were very kind and understanding of our personal request which we made in advance. I only wish we could have explored the area more. Beautiful deer and countryside everywhere. Thank you!

Loved everything about this place and would stay again! Owner was so accommodating and quick to respond. It was a bonus to meet her. The house was tucked away in a little canyon with resident deer just steps away. Had it not been 100+ when we were there, we would have enjoyed the outdoor area. The house was well stocked with extra notes about the location of items we might need. Very comfortable!

This is a beautiful home and location. We stayed here when we went to the Texas Musical in the Palo Duro Canyon. I wish we could've spent more time. The surrounding homes were also well kept and the neighbors were super quiet. Letha and her husband are right across the street if you need anything or have any questions. 5 stars from us!!

We had a fantastic stay here for a get away weekend with friends. The location was convenient for both Canyon and Amarillo and a great home base for our excursions. The beds were comfortable and the back patio was private and a nice place for coffee in the morning. Because of the recent rain/flooding, we weren’t able to hike in Palo Duro so will definitely be planning a trip back. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, would highly recommend here!

It would be impossible for me to give this property the review it deserves. The backyard patio area was absolutely serene. In a place where the wind relentlessly blows, the cabin was situated in such a way that even the wind was not an issue. It was everything as described and then some! Top notch.

My family was blown away by the property. Surrounded by nature in the back and a golf course in the front. It really felt like we were staying in someones very lovely second home! There are so many extras not even mentioned in the listing!

A class A western style cabin built into a rising bluff in a winding canyon. A back patio set in the rock formations of a rocky bluff, with multiple seating areas, an eating area, and a view of a golf course in the opposite direction. The cabin was well appointed with special welcoming extras in every room. The landlord's are right across the street and extremely nice people! Would book this one again for sure!

Location is convenient to Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo. Quiet golf course community with great views and lots of deer. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of towels and linens available. Two really nice patio areas. We will stay again if we ever get back to the area.

Letha was so helpful from the moment i was interested in booking until after we left the property! The scenery around the house is beautiful and both of the outdoor spaces are amazing! We held our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and it was a dream! I left behind a robe of mine, and Letha mailed it out to me the next day! My husband and his friends were also warmly welcomed by Letha’s sweet husband who gave them a tour of his garage and spoke with them for a while. The property managers were the best and our stay was perfect! I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Canyon/Amarillo area!

Great Property - Great Hosts!
Our family of four stayed for two nights in this wonderful lodge. It is quiet, comfortable, and handy to all Canyon and the surrounding area have to offer. It is also about the cutest VRBO we have stayed in. Letha was so sweet and anticipated all our questions and needs. Next time we get to the Panhandle, we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property built against a canyon wall. The decor inside and out were outstanding rustic, warm and inviting. All the necessities were available. Nice outside private patio with plenty of space and sighting’s of mule deer above. Close to Canyon, Palo Duro and Amarillo.

Wonderful Weekend
My family and I decided to take a last minute trip to Palo Duro and we lucked out that Letha had a cancellation. We booked this trip and we were very happy with the house. The outside area is amazing after dark and the house was clean and well appointed with everything we could need. We would definitely stay there again.
