We loved that the house was in a very quiet, rural area. There are a couple of nice restaurants and wineries in very close proximity, and it’s a quick trip into Sonoma and state parks. We particularly enjoyed all the wildlife visitors we had (deer, a family of geese and a family of ducks with their goslings and ducklings in tow, lots of quail), a pond full of frogs, and swallows feeding in the air. We even heard fox calls. We also had a once in a lifetime experience of being able to see the Northern Lights as there is no light pollution.

It’s too bad the hot tub wasn’t available, but nothing else.
