Just 30 minutes to Dulles airport and less than an hour from DC makes this an ideal vacation retreat. The home offers a private and peaceful setting with 5 rooms and a full front porch with views overlooking a creek and easy access to all of Loudoun County. The rental was as nice as was described. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Three of us took a girls trip for the weekend to have a Friendsgiving and this quaint and charming cabin was the perfect retreat! Candice is a lovely hostess and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing less than perfect. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with amenities you may need during your stay. It has a lovely wood burning fire place that we used each night and plenty of fire wood is provided. The guest house is less than 10 minutes from Middleburg which made for a wonderful day of strolling through the stores, having lunch and ending the day with drinks at Salamander resort. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to take a break from the hustle of it all and look forward to coming back ourselves!

The house is in the middle of horse country, not too far from Middleburg. Beautiful surroundings. Great place for a weekend get away.

We were looking for a quaint location for a quick getaway, local to the vineyards, breweries and Harpers Ferry Adventure park. We had an amazing stay- the house is lovely, quietly tucked away and Candice was an incredible host. We will be coming back soon!

My girlfriend and I have never booked a VRBO before, but we had a wedding to attend down the road, and this place was perfect. All the amenities were available, and we didn’t realize we had the entire floor to ourselves.

Birthday Weekend
We booked Candice’s space for a weekend trip to the wineries. The home was very well stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. It was well furnished and very comfortable. The large porch was our favorite spot for coffee in the mornings as well as dinner. The surroundings are lush and green, a beautiful sight from the porch. I would highly recommend this space!

Took my mother on a quiet get away; so glad we picked this location. The guest house had all the furnishings that you wanted and needed. Loved the decorations. Candace was a perfect host; was readily available to answer the few questions we had.

Scenic and Private
The property was scenic and private. Easy access to Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland historic sites. Property and lodging were very clean. Nice porch to relax on.

Perfect country getaway
We booked a four-night stay as temporary accommodation during relocation. The property is in a beautiful rural setting with “town amenities” just a few miles away. Everything was clean and comfortable, with nice touches like soft plush bath towels and extra shampoo. Highly recommended!

Wine Country Weekend
Great property for a relaxing weekend. Covered front porch, comfortable furnishings. Kitchen has all you need to store and prepare food. You can unplug if you like or stay connected. Can’t walk anywhere but you’re not booking a place in town. Halfway between Middleburg and Bluemont Vineyard. Relatively easy drives but the roads there can be challenging if you’re not used to them - especially at night.

I left DC desperate for a disconnect, and I got it. The house is historic and lovely (and the a/c rocks--we needed it too!) and perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The town was very chill even on July 4th b/c of Covid, but we made it work and had a most restful time.

The ease of getting in was great! The location was great - many wineries, restaurants, etc in the area. However, although clean, it seemed congested inside.

Great place to stay
We enjoyed our stay here. We rent OFTEN throughout the year and this location for us was great. It's really on a very busy road, for us was no issue. The rooms were as presented. Very clean and the porch space we MUCH more than we expected! Beautiful yard and area sit out and enjoy the view! There's alot of furniture around which if you have small children, would be a challenge. Master bedroom mattress could use an upgrade.
I would stay here again and would recommend it!

Convenient Location
My husband and I with our dog stayed for a long weekend over Thanksgiving. Candice was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Beautiful country side!

Quiet stay just outside DC
We were moving into the area from Texas and this property served as a convenient staging post for us as we waited for furniture to arrive. Just 20 minutes outside Purcellville and so handy for restaurants and shops. Well furnished and a pool table to boot. Candace lives just steps away but was very respectful of our privacy. The balcony was well furnished and looked a great place to spend an evening with a glass of wine, we just never had the chance.

Beautiful property with access to so much in the area!
This beautiful property is situated around so much lovely countryside and lots of things to do. We spent much of our time on the amazing porch looking out over the property. Everything you could need is there for you. We especially loved the house cat, Gabe, who greeted us and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and it was just the right size. I’d stay here again. The host is great as well.

Beautiful property, great cottage. Super clean, extraordinarily decorated. This maybe the perfect vacation rental. We loved the pool table and the in the woods feel. Northern Virginia is gorgeous with plenty of great places and always stunning scenery. Thanks we loved the stay.

Great place, definitely recommend. Candice is very nice and responds quickly- she even gave me Claritin when I forgot my allergy medication at home! The property is lovely, it’s near the road unfortunately but otherwise the location is great and convenient for hiking and wineries. The house itself is well stocked and clean and the pool table is a plus! There is also a small tv

Just what we were looking for.
Nothing missing, Locality was close enough to town, but far enough out to be in the quiet country. Home was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a house to stay in. The large balcony was great for breakfast, dinner and just sitting and relaxing. Gus the cat was just amazing.

Lovely, historical stay in horse country, surrounded by nature.
We stayed for four days and really enjoyed ourselves. The creek in front of the cabin was a joy to play in for our 8 year old. He also enjoyed petting the resident cat Gabe when he came to visit. The pool table was a bonus. Purcellville is a beautiful part of Virginia in the middle of horse country. Candice was responsive and accomodating and even though her house is right next door, we felt like we had the entire grounds to ourselves. Built in 1792, The history of Chamblin Mill is also unique. We'll definitely be back to stay again soon.

It is all about the beautiful setting, the recreation room, and the front porch
The rustic charm of the 18th century with all the modern conveniences. Very well thought out interior design and amenities. The comfort and convenience for guests has been very well thought through. Quiet locale yet within easy striking distance of Purcellville and Middleburg. Would definitely return to this property the next time I am visiting with friends in Loudoun County.

Beautiful , comfortable and secluded
This was a great weekend getaway! Location is ideal to several wineries and close to Leesburg with tons of shopping. Candice made is feel right at home. We will definitely be back here again!!
