About this house rental
Situated in Madison, this charming house for $139 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The restored 2800 sq. foot home of County Music Hall of fame member Hank Snow complete with some of his own furniture, wagon wheel chandeliers and most importantly his piano. Choose to sleep where Hank Snow himself slept or you can sleep in Jimmie's childhood room with his original furniture. For the other guests there is one more queen room and a room with 2 twin beds for kids or singles. The house also has main floor laundry and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stove, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. There is also a coffee maker, 4 slice toaster and blender. The supermarket is a short 5 minute drive away and Opryland is an 8 minute ride or 12 minutes to Broadway and the Ryman Auditorium. The home is located on 2 1/2 quiet, park like acres where you can enjoy the cardinals, robins, finches and occasionally a deer. Hank's original "Rainbow Ranch" barn is still standing in the back yard. In the near future the large heated outdoor pool will be refurbished for the use of our guests. Sit back with the glow of the fire place and put on a vinyl record and enjoy the music of Hanks friends. People such as Elvis, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard and many more. This house can at a maximum sleep 8 but we book by the person and open bedrooms as per the number of guests booked.

Property was very clean and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside and pictures. Most supplies, linens, towels, condiments were available for our use. Terry's private tour of the house/museum was excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

Immerse yourself into the life of Hank Snow with the opportunity to stay at his home surrounded by a lot of memorabilia and personal furnishings. The home is well kept with comfortable beds and nice amenities for a visit to Nashville.
Located in a quiet neighborhood that had home of other stars located nearby it was a perfect location to all the attractions of Nashville.
I would highly recommend staying here and if you get a chance to talk to Terry the property manager, take it we learned so much from him and got to tour Hanks recording studio on the property.

My husbands siblings get together every year and this year we decided to try something different. We chose to Hank Snows home in Nashville for a long weekend and we where not disappointed! The home is beautiful and the host was very easy to talk to, responded quickly to questions. The home was close enough to all the activities but far enough away to be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this place for a great weekend getaway.

Five female cousins from three states met at Hank Snow's Rainbow Ranch in Nashville. The house is very clean, roomy, well located and historically interesting. We greatly enjoyed the big round dining table, and the beds were comfortable. Hank knew Elvis, Willie Nelson and many other musicians. The house has a real good feel to it. We'd like to stay there again.

How awesome to be able to spend our vacation where such a big part of country music lived! Hank Snow not only wrote and recorded songs here, he also had history with Elvis himself! Many famous people have been in this home, including Elvis, sitting at the very same dining room table!!
If you rent this beautiful ranch, you should not miss out on having the property manager, Terry, give you a tour of Hanks office and studio! Terry knows so much about Hank and the ranch and so much more. He really is a wealth of knowledge!
Cal and Sandy are awesome hosts, very nice and quick to respond to your emails. I know that when we come back to Nashville, we will be renting this house again, it has everything you need!!

We were so happy to stay in Hank Snow’s house. Besides being a great space for everything… the history and memorabilia was incredible. The location was wonderful for us… away from the busy city, but a short drive to get back into it. We had our own vehicle. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to enjoy history, and for a lovely place to stay!

Exactly as posted. Extremely clean absolutely wonderful. The house has so much history and a lot of charm. A lot bigger than it looked from the outside the whole family had room to spread out. Outside was so quiet, a little country in the big city. Loved the outdoor patio and the swing. If we get another chance for the family to get together again will most definitely stay here again. Hade everything to cook with and so many extras. The nostalgia in the house put a smile on you every time you walked room to room.

Check was super easy and smooth. Check out was simple and hassle free. The house is spacious and comfortable. So many rooms for different activities. Close to major highway for easy travel, close to downtown for sightseeing, and wonderful experience exploring Hank Snow's home and ranch. Highly recommend.

Great place and great hosts and communication. Would definitely go back next time I go to Nashville. We didn't do the tour but enjoyed hanging out and listening to some vinyl to wind down the night.

We loved the whole experience. Very clean loved the history of the home very comfortable and cozy felt right at home. The location is great the fact that it’s in a little neighborhood but still so close to everything that we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Nashville.

What a great place to stay. If you're interested in the history of country music this is the place to stay! I can now say I played a piano that was played on by Hank Snow and Elvis! The house was immaculate. The surround property was absolutely well mantained and manicured.

Everything was perfect in this home from the cleanliness to the overall comfort/feel of the home. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will revisit if we are ever back in the area. Also, Terry gave us the Tour of Hanks Studio and offered so much knowledge to what all has taken place there. We all enjoyed our visit with him. I found the Shower to be a favorite. It had such good water pressure and was roomy. Also we all slept well and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. After we left we ended our trip by stopping by to see Hank Snows Grave. We hope to be welcomed back sooner than later.

The vrbo process is so easy and the house was nice and clean and spacious. We had a great time looking at all the history on the walls and discussing Hank Snow with Nashville locals. The beds were comfortable and the plumbing worked great.

Our Grandpa Jerry was so excited about this place he told everyone out and about where we were staying! He was like a kid in a candy store! Conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go and Uber will pick you up here. Spacious and clean place to stay! We enjoyed our visit!

The property was spacious, immaculate and wonderfully preserved. The Christmas spirit was everywhere along with the history of The Grand Ole Opry and country music. Except for the bad weather on our last night that laid havoc to the beautiful outdoor light display, everything was wonderful. The alarm procedure could use some more instructions for the technically challenged.

This property was everything as described and more! To be honest, no one in my party knew who Hank Snow was, nor did we realize that we had booked his house for our weekend trip 😂 We we’re pleasantly surprised! The house is absolutely beautiful. The history of the house is amazing! To sit on a couch that Porter Wagoner owned! To be in a house that some of the most famous stars of country music have been in! I can’t say enough about this house! Everything you need is available in the house. Linen, towels, washcloths…etc. Sandy was easy to get a hold of when question arose. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to downtown. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Nashville!

Stayed here with a group of friends for a wedding in Goodlettsville. Perfect location between the wedding venue and Broadway for us. Nice we all had our own, separate rooms. Lots of space in the common areas. Not much in walking distance...just a coffee shop, but lots within a few miles

This older home has been lovingly restored by Sandy and Cal and furnished/decorated with lots of memorabilia. Large bedrooms with comfortable queen beds (3, plus a 4th room with 2 twins which we did not use), large living room, fully furnished kitchen (complete with a variety of spices, coffee, sugar, other staples) made this a wonderful vacation home for my elderly parents and sister. You must go up stairs to access the house (fewer if you go through the front), so be mindful if you have someone with limited mobility. Once inside, all is on one level. Make time to have Terry give you the history of Hank Snow and the home, and tour the studio and Hank's office. Very informative and Terry was a great host. I'll echo what someone else commented - check out the house first before going to the store. Unlike other rentals, cupboards are not cleaned out of supplies between renters so many things you might want are already on hand. We ate most meals at the house and had all the pans and utensils we needed. Kitchen appliances were fairly new. Loved the spacious walk-in shower by the laundry room and appreciated having a washer/dryer available. A/C and ceiling fans in the bedrooms were great at keeping the inside temperature cool and comfortable. The house is conveniently located near the airport with shopping and tourist destinations close by. We would absolutely stay here again.
