We are local to the area, but want to have a little get away for my wife’s birthday weekend. We had a great time, the snow was definitely an added bonus for my 9 year old son! Communicating with Annie was simple and easy. The neighbors were great to have the lane and driveway plowed. We really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to come back!!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! Everything was very clean and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen, ample bedding with extra blankets for chilly nights, even split wood for the fireplace! The games and large table gave our family an excellent stay. Beautiful property that doesn’t feel close to down but is only down the road from restaurants and stores. We would love to stay here again.

The property is so fun, clean, relaxing, has everything you would need!! I mean everything. The fireplace was amazing, with the perfect view of the mountains and plenty of gorgeous land we couldnt get enough of with the pups!! Recommend, 12/10.

Great place to sit and relax with my family. Took the kids there and they loved it. Sat on the porch, played games, went for hikes and fished in the Juniata River. Very enjoyable.

This cabin is beautiful and secluded, but not too far from local attractions. We loved using the fireplace which was well-stocked with firewood and everything we could possibly need. One of the cleanest places we have stayed and the owners were very easy to get in touch with. Would highly recommend!

This cabin is beautiful, clean, well stocked, and located in such a peaceful location. We loved the wrap around deck with the fireplace, hammocks, cornhole and lovely views. Living room is set up for cozy evenings by the fire with rocking chairs and blankets. The modern kitchen was well stocked and the owners provided many games and puzzles for the young and old alike. We would, and plan to, stay here again in the future. Oh yeah, all this AND we got to experience it with our golden retriever. Thank you Annie for allowing guests to bring their beloved pets.

It was everything we thought it would be, secluded, quiet, very comfortable. We just broke away from the norm of our day-to-day activities and just absolutely relaxed. We played games, we sat by the fire, we just forgot about the rest of the world. Three days and we just stayed there content as could be. Never left the property until it was time to go home.

I really liked this place. Very clean and neat and I loved the smell of wood when I went in. I spent a lot of time on the deck and thoroughly enjoyed lighting a fire and eating s’mores. I spent most of my time sitting on the lounge chair in the sun. Just reading and watching the clouds. It was so very peaceful. And the stars at night were incredible!!! I live in a place with a lot of street lights so don’t normally get to see the stars like that. My dogs loved it there too. Lots of space in the yard to explore and sniff. I loved being able to just let them out so they could run and play. Really great place!!! Thank you for putting it up for use at a vacation spot to rent!

This is an incredibly beautiful and unspoiled corner of God's creation. We live in a busy city, which we love and accept (with all its complexities). The contrast of a nature-filled life is stimulating for us. Being without Wifi was also healing because it helped us discover a different kind of depth through openness to the natural world.

Lots of space out on the deck and a great view. The seclusion of the property was great too--even better than we expected. It was like our own little island out in nature, perfect for a restful getaway. Inside was nice too. Enough space to work with in the kitchen, and we appreciated having the big table for everyone to sit and eat together. The wide selection of games were enjoyed too. None of our group had experienced a bidet before, so that was an adventure. The only complaint we might have is the lack of indoor seating other than hard benches and hard rocking chairs, but I understand that they fit the aesthetic of the cabin, and we were able to make do with the cushions and blankets that were readily available. Our group likes to stay at a different place each year, but I'd definitely consider coming here again. Well worth the price.

We stayed for five days and four nights. Everything was as advertised. The bedrooms were fine. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we did use our own knives. Plenty of games. The view of the mountain is excellent. The outdoor fireplace is really nice. It is on the deck and is completely covered. This was good for us because it rained the whole time. Plenty of wood nearby. The deck is huge. Having said that, I think the previous tenant had a dog because I stepped in poop and tracked it all over the porch and nearly into the house. So watch your step. The surrounding area is quiet. Really quiet. There is a main road a mile or so away that we could hear faintly during rush hour. That's about it. Otherwise silence. Which is golden. I'm out of space! Thanks! Two areas for improvement would be to completely remove all previously-used personal hygiene products from the bathroom. There were probably 6 or 8 partially used shampoos up above the shower. Who knows what is in those bottles! Also, one or two more easy chairs in the living room would be a great. I'm writing this review about 6 months late, but I recall one futon-like couch, one wooden rocking chair, and several wooden chairs. Other than the futon, there is no other comfy place to curl up and relax. This was only a small issue for us due to the wet weather for the entire trip. So if you'll be just using the cabin as a base of operations, then you might not even notice.

The cabin is a nice spot to get away to recharge! Cabin is a beautiful house with lots of room for two people! Double fireplace is a nice touch to have fires indoor or out on the porch. Overall, this place is great way to spend time outdoors away from electronics/internet. Plus, Annie was fantastic host since she is so kind and answered all of our questions. Thanks Annie for letting us stay at the cabins!

My wife and I (and our dogs) spent the weekend at this beautiful Amish post and beam cabin. The surrounding lot is quiet and overlooked by mountains. The owners were very helpful and everything was better than we expected, based on the advertisement. We hope to visit again soon.
