Great location, but not great space.

It was great to be able to walk to Forsyth Park and all through the historic district from the apartment.

We thought it was two bathrooms, but it was one and a half. It was not easy to get in. The bottom sheet kept coming off during the night because it didn’t have deep pockets. The cooking pans were not very good. It needed some TLC. The king bed was in front of a window by the front porch, so light came in, but even worse, noise. It faced a fairly busy street, but the worst experience came on Halloween night when the people next door had a party and were laughing and talking on their porch until 5 AM. Since the porch was maybe 15-20 feet from our bed, it was impossible to sleep.

A little too rustic for my taste and a bit too pricey.

Kitchen are nice.

The property hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. The staff was helpful in getting us into another location. The half bath - water pressure had little or no pressure.

Good stay overall.

I like the location and It was very spacious and I also liked the private parking in the rear.

It didn’t have 2 bathroom’s, it actually has 1.5 bathrooms and they were small. Also it needs a full size ironing board not the half size.

Charming neighborhood. Close to large park. About a mile walk to the riverfront. Close to a grocery.

Very noisy from upstairs apartment and traffic noise all night. Very limited choices of things to watch on TV (no sports). Few toiletries, no soap.

At the end of the day, I rated the place as a 7. Its got charm, just needs more updating.

The property needs to remove the "Recently Remodeled" from their Headlines in Ad/property promotion. Some of the unit was fairly recently done, some was done what appears to be years ago and quite a bit of stuff hasn't been touched. A lot of the workmanship was poorly done. Now I realize it's a very old building and I don't want to discourage people from staying there, but just know it's not what I call Recently Remodeled. Its more that someone has been working on the place on an ongoing pace while renting it out to create revenue stream. It is Charming and on first glance shows well.

Good

Good location. Nice living/dining space.

The back bedroom was very small. Bathroom needs some shelves. There were a lot of hidden expenses. We ended up paying $700/night.

Loved the place!

The layout, the ambiance, everything!

The neighbors above were immensely loud as early as 7am. I believe there’s a child that lives above/staying above, but it was so loud and disruptive.

Nice place to stay with family

The house was super clean and very well maintained. Location is great and the private parking helps a lot! Owner kept us informed along the way and during the stay!

The only thing I would suggest is to replace the king size mattress. It was bowing in the center and was not very comfortable to sleep, but this is really the only thing.

It was not AC well for the Savannah climate. It is a very old establishment that has been revamped. The chairs were almost like wet feeling from the humidity in the area and I just feel that it could be ventilated better because the area is very hot and humid.

Loved the feel of the apartment , glad it wasn’t the upstairs ! Relaxing Front Porch , and Back Courtyard Porch very relaxing ! Love the location , STARBUCKS Walking distance DEFINITELY A PLUS !

NEEDS NEW MATTRESSES ! No Sleeping during our stay , for the Beds we’re like sleeping on Concrete! I’m not exaggerating ! OUTDATED FURNITURE NEEDS REPLACING !!! Hot Water was NOT AVAILABLE, Cold Showers during entire stay ! Called Proprietors to ask for assistance, and was told to try a couple methods turning faucet handle ! Really ! That was their solution . Dishwasher had Stagnant Water standing inside the Dishwasher , no dirty dishes thank goodness . No Trash Bags , Or Paper Towels !

The location was good. Spacious bedrooms.Nice kitchen well equipped.

Only one tv, with no satellite available. Had to call maintenance as dishwasher not working just needed to do a bit of jiggling.Was not explained that a parking space was available at the rear of accommodation so the first night had to park two streets away then I read a review that said parking at the rear. Back stairs in need of repair.

The cleanliness, location and history was great.

Couldn't get lockbox on the gate in the back where our vehicle was parked opened.Propane ran out on grill. Icemaker didn't work. Had to get a bag of ice. There was 1 tray for 4 people. The dishwasher didn't work.

Exceptional

Location was great. The architecture was fantastic. We love historic and we really enjoyed this location. Sitting on the front porch watching the world go by was fun.

Front door being unlocked and slightly ajar. Lamps in back bedroom need replacing.

Absolutely beautiful decor. Huge accommodation. Fantastic location

Hard to criticise this lovely accommodation. Minor point, but double bed frame is metal and therefore very squeaky when you turn over during the night. Maybe some WD40 on the springs would help??

Loving Savannah

We loved being in the historical district and sharing this beautifully renovated, decorated apartment with our friends. Communication and location were perfect! I would highly recommend this unit to my friends and family.

We wished that there could have been another shower in the unit.

So much character

The location was phenomenal and the cleanliness was on point. I felt safe in the home and walking the neighborhood. Everyone we bumped into was so friendly, AND the main selling point for me was the Starbucks nearby. 😂

The neighbors upstairs were moving around at night which gave the perception that someone was entering my room. We ended up meeting the neighbors and making good friends. So I don't see this as a 'didn't like it', but more as a 'watch out for creepy steps in the night'. Lol

Let down!

It was very clean.

Window treatments were scarce. Almost no privacy. Chipped dishes. One wine glass. Light bulbs missing or not working. No extra blankets. Door lock very difficult to open. Thought apartment had 2 full bathrooms, only one full and one half bath.

has potential but I wouldn’t stay here again

charming place in a good neighborhood, kitchen and living room facilities were good had an issue with the shower drain that was fixed within 24h

had a rodent run around at night going through the trash. woke us up so we had a terrible night. very uncomfortable: old mattresses without toppers, creaky beds, thin windows so very noisy even at night, curtains and shades that didn’t block much of the street lights

Better than average stay in the outskirts but we'll within walking distance of free transport

Had everything we needed and was in a quiet location. The cafe at Forsyths park is really good for breakfast. Sitting outside on the porch relaxing was lovely..

Did not realise that the free Dot transport was so close.so maybe a little guide or info pack would be good.
