This quaint 1 bedroom furnished apt. is located downstairs in our historic brick English tudor home. You have a separate key, private entrance, and courtyard. The space is well-lit with two windows and has a back door to a beautiful garden and patio in the backyard as well as a side door to the courtyard. We also use very careful required sanitation procedures between guests! Our home is located Laurelhurst, a registered historic district. Laurelhurst is one of Portland's oldest and most beautiful planned communities. We are located on a quiet, tree lined street within 10 minutes of the city and 15 min. from the airport. Major shopping, wonderful restaurants and one of Portland's most beautiful parks are all within walking distance. This ideal location is only two blocks from a several bus lines and 5 blocks from the MAX (light rail train) The MAX can take downtown in the matter of minutes . It is also within walking distance of favorite east side shopping and dining areas, including Hawthorne, Belmont and 28th street. When you enter this charming mid-century decorated apartment you will immediately feel at home! You will find a comfortable queen sized bed, overstuffed chair and desk with mesh internet service. Good size TV Roku access, DVD player(some DVD's available) in the bedroom. The nicely tiled bathroom has a tub and shower. Although there is not a separate "living room" you will find the apartment very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen has a dining space, there is a pantry that is furnished with everything you may need to make your own meals if you choose (i.e. microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, condiments, etc.). Other amenities include a private courtyard, and your own large washer/dryer in the apt. Easy walking distance to several bus stops, light rail train (MAX), restaurants and shopping. If we are home when you arrive and your interested, we are happy to give you a tour of our home. During the warm weather months we maybe hanging out in our back garden area and you are welcome to join us if you like. If you prefer you can hang out in the side courtyard without our presence. But you are always welcome to check out the backyard English gardens, hangout around the firepit or use the barbecue during your stay.
