About this house rental
Nestled in Homewood, this attractive house for $440 per night is a great choice for your next trip. In the winter, ski by day, and relax fireside in the evening. In the summer enjoy the deck that spans the front of the house and the privilege of private beach access, private tennis courts, private pool (mid June through Labor Day) for members only and easy access to Chamber's Landing Bar & Grill. Monthly rentals are exempt from sales tax (contact owner if quote includes sales tax) and include one complimentary maid service mid-stay. Enjoy the comforts of home, including 3 flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, DVD, washer, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave, all while experiencing a vacation only Lake Tahoe could offer. Rest assured that even the driveway is plowed in the winter! This four bedroom home includes one master bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bedroom with two twin beds and one bedroom with a twin over full bunk. There is second story deck access from the master bedroom. There are two full baths, each updated in 2022, one with walk in shower, rain head and handheld and the other with a tub, rain head, and handheld. Need to stay connected? Secure Wi-F (1G)i and cable TV are included. The home is six miles south of Tahoe City, one hour from Reno Airport, and one hour from South Lake Tahoe. This house was perfect for our stay. We visited with our dogs and were joined for two nights by our two daughters. A hiking trail was less than a block away, great for early morning walk with dogs, beach was a short walk, house was comfy without being fancy, and the huge front deck was a wonderful place to relax after a hectic day out and about. Internet was great and we both worked during our week without issues, participating in zoom calls etc.
House is well stocked and everything works! Laurel was extremely responsive with instant replies to any questions we had. We would definitely book again.

We had a lovely time! The weather was perfect, and of course Lake Tahoe was just gorgeous! The cabin was big enough for everyone and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. It was also nice eating dinner on the deck too! Laurel was quick to answer any questions that we had. Can’t wait to go back!

Laurel was extremely kind and attentive, she was able to help us with any issue we ran into. The home was super comfortable, the upstairs, where the living room is had a wonderful atmosphere with trees and snow all around us. Stayed at the property for 2 months and was very sad to leave. Would 10/10 recommend.

Laurel was a super host! She was so helpful and attentive in every ways possible. All our questions are properly responded right away. The house was as described and well equipped with everything! We had a very nice family Christmas up in Tahoe for the time. My family (8 adults) and two little Shih Tzu dogs was very comfortable with our stays. However, please take Laurel’s advice very seriously about the bear because my and my sons car got broken in. My husband must have forgotten to lock our car so does my 20 years old son with his truck (although they said they locked it but I doubted it). Thank god nothing is damaged, the bear just left a bunch of mess as they were looking for food I guess but got nothing. So don’t forget to be very cautious about the bears. But all in all we were very happy with our stay! Thank you Laurel and we will be back :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is very comfortable and has an amazing view (snow and trees). The host, Laurel, was very responsive. She even contacted me to make sure we could find the house on our first day.

Favorite Low Ley Place to Stay in Tahoe
The house is amazing and has everything you need. Older house with new redone bathrooms. My friends and I do an annual trip for 10+ days and could not be happier with place and location. To be honest I don’t want anyone to see this so we can continue to stay here.

Fun stay & great host!
House was clean and perfect for a Tahoe getaway. It's located less than a mile from Homewood if you are looking to ski in the winter and only a few blocks from Lake Tahoe. Very nice wrap around deck with BBQ, perfect for the spring/summer.
The wifi is extremely fast and shouldn't be a concern if you are looking to work remote.
Laurel was very responsive and helpful, such a hospitable host!
Would recommend staying here on your next trip to Tahoe!

Our summer getaway
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Property is in a great location, close to all the things we love. Spent most of our time on that wonderful deck. Laurel was most helpful with any our questions or concerns. Lots of room in the house, very comfortable and a great washer and dryer. Will come back when we can.

Pet friendly and a very nice location, one block up from Hwy. 89. House has a beautiful deck with mountain/forest views, also great place to sit and watch passing bears. Chambers bus comes by every 30 minutes making the trip to the beach effortless. Plenty of parking.

West Shore in July
We enjoyed staying in this property. It is in a good location and had everything we needed during our stay. Really enjoyed our deck time in the mornings and evenings. Lots of natural light as well.

Amazing Stay!
This is a great west shore vacation home! The property owner, Laurel, was very accommodating and responsive to any needs we may have had. The home is in a very good location, walking distance from one of the best beaches in Lake Tahoe with access to all its amenities. Nightly sunsets one block away from the house were great. We spent most of our time out on the beautiful new wrap round deck which has a brand new barbecue we put to work! There are great biking and hiking trails near by in addition to the beach and restaurants in the area. Overall, an amazing stay, I highly recommend!

Good Tahoe cabin! Great location. Cleanliness could be improved by the cleaning company. (Not really a fault of the property). The deck is a great new addition. Beds were all very comfortable. Overall would recommend this vrbo.

Annual Summer Family Trip
This cabin was perfect for our annual trip to Tahoe. Chamberlands is a great location. The decks on this cabin are fantastic; loved our morning coffee and dinners on the front deck.. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the beautiful dining table seated 8. Lower level bedrooms stayed nice and cool.
Owner was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

Tahoe travels
We very much enjoyed the deck areas of the house, the daily walks, the shuttle bus to and from the beach, the pool access, the beach and restaurant at Chambers. The house is welcoming however there are a few areas that need updating-the showers for sure. The kitchen needs a few more drinking glasses and when we arrived there were no paper towels at all and only one garbage bag. I understood that we would have a limited supply to start with but I think those 2 items should have been at the house when we began our stay. For the price I would say that our family did enjoy our stay and look forward to going to Tahoe again next year. The owner was very very accommodating each and every time I contacted her and was super easy to work with.

Great location for skiing at Homewood
This was a great location for our family to stay while we were skiing at Homewood. After skiing there were places for the kids to play in the snow. The bunk room and twin bed room were also a plus for kids.
