Legacy Suite on Main is an ultra-romantic suite located on the premier historical block of downtown Fredericksburg's famed shopping district. This 900+ square foot luxury suite offers high original beaded-board ceilings, original hardwood floors and fabulous exposed limestone walls. This historical building has been in the same family for four generations. Once a mercantile store and various retail stores, this space has now reverted back to the past when it housed a business downstairs and living quarters upstairs. At the end of your day, come back to this exquisite suite boasting a spectacular four-poster king sized bed, large seating area and 50 inch plasma TV. You will enjoy a wonderful two-sided electric fireplace from both the living area and the over-sized jacuzzi tub for two. Enjoying this great location requires you be on the second story, so please do not book Legacy Suite if you are unable to climb a flight of stairs. Believe us, though, it's worth the climb! A beautiful room to stay at in the most fantastic location in Fredericksburg. Right in the heart of downtown within walking distance of everything. What a perfect place to come back to and unwind after a day of adventuring, exploring, and drinking. Jeff was a fantastic host and I will totally stay here again on future trips to Fredericksburg.

Legacy Suites was fantastic. It’s a beautiful property in the best location on Main Street. Jeff was very helpful and check in was a breeze. Great for a romantic getaway or anniversary. We also did a wine tour with Keidel, and had a great time. Jeff’s family has been in Fredericksburg for many generations, so having a little bit of a history lesson was a bonus. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Legacy Suite is a beautifully decorated second floor apartment above a boutique on Main Street. It's the perfect location as restaurants, shops and tasting rooms are just steps away. (Speaking of steps, there is not an elevator, so this is not the place for you if you can't walk upstairs.) We enjoyed the central location where we could stop in and put our feet up to cool off while exploring Main St. Depending on your arrival time, you may need to circle the block a couple times before finding a spot. Not a problem for us - we arrived on a Sunday afternoon in June. We stayed three nights and never moved the car. Have I mentioned this is the perfect location? We made arrangements with our host, Jeff Lawrence, to spend a day visiting wineries with Keidel Wine Tours. Highly recommend! Jeff is an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Thank you, Jeff, for a wonderful stay and experience in Fredericksburg!

This is a well-planned, beautifully decorated destination for a special occasion. The location places you within walking distance of fine dining, historical treasures, a myriad of shops, and at the right time you can participate in car shows, fests, and other celebrations. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Legacy suite for a romantic getaway to Fredericksburg. It was right on Main and walking distance to everything downtown. The only drawback was the steep staircase hauling the luggage up and down. But overall, this is a perfect spot. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful decor with lovely amenities and fantastic location. Jeff was extremely responsive when we lost our key. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the beautiful town of Fredericksburg. We booked this suite to celebrate our 34th anniversary. Booking was super simple and the owner was very responsive when we could not make the television work. He was there within 15 minutes. The suite was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was awesome as well! The location was perfect as you step out of the door directly into the heart of the best shopping block in Fredericksburg. The parking was an issue but it is was spring break. We had to park a couple of blocks away and then move our vehicle once the shops closed and people cleared out. Not a big deal but just be aware that it may happen. We would definitely recommend!

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our weekend getaway! Legacy suites was the perfect place in the heart of town! Down the block to the left is the best Italian we have ever had! (Pasta Bella). Don’t forget a short walk to Hondos for the best margarita around. We also walked to 290 wine tours and had a blast of a day. By far the best location to stay! Will definitely stay again in the future.

Our extended weekend getaway in the Legacy Suite was nothing short of fantastic! Christmas time in Fredericksburg is magical and this suite puts you right there in the middle of it all. We were in short walking distance for everything the town had to offer. We also did a wine tour through the owner’s company, Keidel Wine Tours, which was one of the best decisions! As a 6th generation Fredericksburg resident, his knowledge of the area made our stay and wine tour a great experience. We hope to be back soon!

This property was one of kind. The cleanliness was extraordinary!! Location was excellent with access to everything you need; food, drinks and shopping. We stayed in most of the time as we didn't want to leave the coziness of the property. This is a perfect place for a romantic get-a-way. I highly recommend!!

This accommodation is spectacular. If you are after a romantic retreat with your partner this is the place. It is roomy, beautifully decorated, comfortable, great location. My GF and i stayed Sunday through Monday. Sunday evening after dinner we just walked through an almost empty downtown area then back to or getaway. I cannot recommend this enough
