About this house rental
Nestled in Hyannis Port, this lovely house for $335 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 3 bedroom, 2 bath Cape style cottage. New kitchen and 1st floor bath, dishwasher, washer & dryer, central a/c and heat, Wi Fi, outdoor shower, private deck, Weber grill. Master bedroom with queen sized bed and bedroom with 2 twin beds are on the first floor. 3rd Bedroom with twin beds is on the second floor. 2nd floor bath. 5 minute walk on Harbor Village's footpath to sandy ocean beaches. This is a privately owned cottage with onsite management and linen service provided. Harbor Village is a quiet, secluded village of Cape style cottages, located on the south shore of Cape Cod at the edge of Hyannisport. This 17-acre peninsula is a place of natural beauty, studded with pine trees, with a cool sandy path leading to the ocean beach. Our private footpath to the beach bridges a creek bed with wild flowers - a good spot to eavesdrop on nature at sunrise. Emerge from the path, cross tiny Ocean Avenue and set up your own beachhead to sun, picnic or watch the sailors on Nantucket Sound. The summer water temperature on the Sound averages 70 to 75 degrees. The excitement of downtown Hyannis is less than a mile away. Take the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard from the Ocean Street docks, one mile from our gate. Stroll through the village of Hyannisport which is also a short walk from the cottage.

Our house was an older property. Very charming. The caretakers were delightful. We felt very safe on our "girl's trip." Easy walk to beach.

We had the best time staying at this property. The location was as described - a few minutes’ easy walk to a gentle beach, and an easy drive to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Shirley and her husband Bob were responsive and helpful. The house was clean and cute and as described.

Fabulous experience!
This is the perfect place for a couple who wants access to a lovely beach. A 10 minute walk, maximum, will get you to a beach. The house is in good shape and well cared for. It had everything we needed. If I had any questions, and I always have a lot, the property manager answered promptly and in a very helpful way! Highly recommend

Very accurate description. We loved it! Extremely comfortable and everything we needed was there. Beach was a close walk or drive and the home felt very private. While we wished the bed was larger, it was still extremely comfortable!

Check in was a breeze, and the property managers were not only accessible, but also super friendly and helpful. Overall, the home was clean and well maintained. However, I didn’t feel the outside area was accurately represented by the pictures.

Delightful cottage with a great location
The perfect getaway! We stayed for a week and can't say enough about the cottage. It had everything we needed and was right next door to the office and linen shed, so we could stop by for supplies, beach towels, and beach chairs easily. Shirley and Bob were great- very helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed with an updated kitchen which was well supplied. We cooked in a few nights and grilled too- the back deck was spacious and relaxing with a nice view. The walk to the pretty beach was short and pleasant. After a relaxing day our kids loved using the outdoor shower. We took a day trips to Plymouth, Nantucket, and Provincetown, which were easy and very enjoyable. There was also plenty to do in Hyannis and we took in the JFK library and a Kennedy walking tour, as well as a few restaurants. All in all, it was a great week but too short. We're looking forward to our next visit to Harbor Village!

A nicely renovated cape rental close to the beach and other Hyannis attractions. Area was quiet and relaxing for a fall weekend away with our 3-month old son.

The care, cleanliness and quality of this rental was unsurpassed. Great location as well.
This rental was one of our best ever. It was modern, clean, well maintained and simply beautiful. The attention to detail was surprising to me. Things like new soap in the shower, fresh towels whenever you wanted, appliances and utensils that were brand new, comfortable beds and pillows, fresh, clean sheets, very nice, friendly, helpful managers, a beautiful setting with a lake out the back and within walking distance to the beach, a few minutes to town. We loved this place and were grateful to stay there for the week. It does not disappoint and seems even better than the pictures on VRBO.
Only two trivial suggestions: TV in the bedrooms would be a nice addition for those who like that, and a new swing to replace the one in the back yard. But honestly, these are small points. The trouble is this place is so good there are not many faults at all!! Rent it and enjoy your summer vacation.
