Beautiful and quiet. This home and the history absolutely gorgeous. Love the ground loved the donkeys at all the beautiful plants and trees. I just wish I could’ve brought my service dog that alerts me when My blood sugar is crashing I’m a type one diabetic and it happens the most so it was a little scary. But other than that an amazing house

Came to do some wine tasting, this was an amazing place to hang out with the family and open a couple of bottles that we picked during our day in Napa!! Highly recommend , we can’t wait to come back next time!!

Place had everything that you needed - and was clean. Beds did creak a lot, as other guests mentioned. Downtown Petaluma walking distance, but didn't realize you have to walk on a main street to get there. Overall, my family and I had a great stay - would come back!

We spent a wonderful week here! Our group consisted of four adults and four kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. We loved seeing the donkeys and chickens and the property is spacious and relaxing. We made breakfast and dinners at “home” each day and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sue is a very responsive manager. We took trips to the coast every day and some beaches are just 30 mins away. If you wanted to go wine tasting that would be easy from this location as well. Things we would point out in case these are issues for anyone:The water has a sulfur odor/taste and was a problem for one person in our group. We were aware a couple lives in a separate home on the property, but didn’t realize they live close to the main house. They’re very nice and it was not an issue for us but might be for someone who expects complete privacy. Some of the beds are very creaky to the point it woke us up. On the plus side, you awake to an incredibly relaxing environment. We would stay here again. The week flew by and we were sad to leave this beautiful and historic home.

We were a small group of knitters who used to get together every Tuesday evening and knit for a few hours. Couldn't have chosen a better place for our reunion! It was beautiful, with fabulous light, comfortable sofas, spacious dining room and a kitchen that could fit all of us at the same time. Look forward to visiting The Queen again!

Rustic location, pretty quiet and lot's of room.

It was so lovely staying in a house dating back to the (prior) turn of the century and in farmland. Nice break from my usual suburban life. The best surprise for us were the 2 donkeys watching us as pulled up!

This property was immaculate. It is perfect for a family or group of single friends. We did not take advantage of all the lovely sitting areas or kitchen but it was sweetly decorated for our Christmas arrival, and had a warm and friendly feel.

It was really a pleasant experience. It was easy to rent and the property manager was very helpful. Unfortunately I failed to communicate the check out procedures to my guests so I apologize for that lapse

We loved the house! It is so charming and cozy. Beds were very fluffy and comfortable. Kitchen very well appointed. Beautiful views from every side of the house. Donkeys and a horse to greet you every day. A peaceful countryside retreat.

Loved the record player and cassette player. Danced to Dirty Dancing and slept in comfortable beds. Would highly recommend for a girls trip or family trip. Close to all the Sonoma/Napa wineries plus the cute town of Petaluma. Will come back!

The Queen was the perfect house for our girls trip to Sonoma County. The house is clean and well appointed with comfortable beds, linens, and towels. The location was perfect - quick drive to downtown Petaluma (less than 10 min) and less than an hour to Healdsburg where we did our day of wine touring!

The water in the bathrooms smelt like sulfur but everything else was perfect for our stay! It was very cool to drive up and see the donkies and horse in the yard!

We spent a few days at "The Queen" and it was perfect for us. The house was immaculately clean (important to me) and very spacious. It's well maintained, and had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, with all of the utensils, pots, pans, plates, etc. one could want. We had plenty of room to be together, and when we wanted it, separate spaces for quiet time. The house is quite large. The location was peaceful and scenic, and only a ten minute drive (30 minute walk) to Petaluma's downtown, which has lots of interesting shops and restaurants. It's also a beautiful walk the other way through country lanes and open space. So, we could be in the middle of things quickly, or the middle of nowhere when we wanted that. It's a great house for a family get together. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Queen. We were there with family to celebrate our dad's 80th birthday, and the house couldn't have been more perfect. There is lots of room and the kitchen was well-equipped. The beds are comfortable although small (only full-size and twins upstairs.) You feel like you've stepped back in time with the victorian decor, and a few times we were pretty sure the old place might be haunted by a friendly, young spirit. The wineries in Sonoma are only a short drive away and the grounds are relaxing and beautiful. The donkey braying outside makes for a unique morning alarm! Thanks for sharing your lovely home; we made great memories there.

Seven members of my family stayed at the Queen. It fit us very well! The Queen is lovely, spacious, we had everything we needed there, lots of different places outside to congregate for meals, great working kitchen. Great location on the edge of town and it felt like being in the country. Loved the farm atmosphere, the donkeys, the garden.
