Many restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Very nice area. Parking on side streets with in easy walking district.
Some street noise heard at night. Not a problem for us, we live on a busy street.
Black out curtains or shades would be nice in the front bedroom off the living room.
Definitely would stay again if we were in the area.

Great neighborhood, plenty to do, plentiful restaurants. Nice walk to ballpark through wonderful neighborhoods. Apartment was as advertised, very comfortable, great amenities. Host was spectacular. Volo restaurant, Kitsch’n on Roscoe, and The Bakehouse were spectacular.

We loved our stay here! Jon was responsive and very accommodating, both leading up to and during our stay. Roscoe Village is a cool little neighborhood, and this property is in the heart of it all.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The photos don’t capture how cute the unit is and how centralized it is in the Roscoe neighborhood. It’s also a short walk to the train and downtown Chicago. Would stay here again!

Unbelievable time in Chicago. RV was convenient to everything we had planned. We walked to wrigley, took the train to various neighborhoods and even whipped those Uber scooters around. Jon was an amazing host and the coffee shop across the street had the best cinnamon buns

The neighborhood was beautiful, I wish I could live there. Gas station across the street was very handy. The parks nearby also kept my toddler busy. I love the living room window. I spend my time there watching tv. Felt like I was in NYC

Loved the location ! The place was great beautiful decorating and loved Roscoe village ! This village had cute boutique stores and beautiful restaurants!
We were there for my sons baby shower, who lives there and will be using this apt again ! Jon was helpful when my daughter in law was having trouble getting into the apt and everything was handled smoothly and quickly !

My husband and our two teenagers and I spent a week in Chicago in early August, staying at Sopra Volo for 7 nights. We were in town for a family wedding, and also to escape the Texas heat. While I can't give credit to the owners for the weather, everything else about our stay was lovely. It's a very good apartment and wonderfully located in a sweet neighborhood. We did not rent a car, opting to take mass transit everywhere, and borrowing a car from family in town on only one occasion. We also did a good bit of cooking in the apartment and found it well-stocked with cooking tools. While sharing a bathroom with two teens was a bit tricky, having a separate bedroom for our daughter was priceless. There was no noise from the restaurant below, or any other unit. The place is very nice without being pretentious. We were able to get to a bus in about a minute and the El in about 7 or 8 minutes. At the end of a day of sightseeing and knocking about one of our favorite cities, it was great to come "home" to a lovely apartment and unwind. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an awesome place to stay! It was in a great area with lots of nice people, close to public transportation . The owner was super nice to work with. He even gave us an extremely detailed map to get to the unit from the train walking and using public transportation. We were there for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and it went right by the place. When we told him that, he even put out a water cooler for the walkers! Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay in Roscoe Village was great it's a cute quite place. The stay above Volo was very nice. The owner was so on top of things. Made sure we had keys & all the necessary information for our stay. The apt was clean & stocked with linens. We enjoyed hanging out all in one place with our family. We were very pleased & happy we found this place to stay. If in Chicago again we would absolutely rent this apt again. Thanks Jon!

Loved everything about this place! Being from Chicago, it was the first time we rented instead of staying with family and we could not have been more pleased. Jon, I appreciated you making the place look festive for Christmas but the stocking hangers on the mantle were a special touch and sincerely appreciated! When the airline lost (& found) one of our bags on Christmas Eve, property manager Kathleen was so helpful and willing to be available for the delivery. Anytime we had questions, she was friendly, informative & professional. The place itself, where to begin? Great location, their wine bar downstairs and breakfast/lunch place across the street were wonderful! Bathroom was comfortable, plenty of towels & nice amenities. Nice to have movies & games already there. Easy parking & close to the train for our downtown excursions. Very relaxed vibe. Our whole family has decided that this will be our go-to place from now on. Next visit will be in the summer when I know Roscoe Village comes alive with activity. Loved the town of Roscoe Village! The local restaurants and shops were what put it over the top. Great staff and food. Close to train and lovely homes. The property was comfortable and the owners were more than accomodating. Very nice. Would stay there again!

Roscoe Village is a hidden gem for Chicago. It is quiet but still all city. Jon was amazing to work with and we would highly recommend his place. He was there for anything we needed and very accommodating. Easy access from midway. Wrigley is a nice easy walk. Great place.

I stayed here on a recent business trip. The description and pictures are spot on. The property was clean and very comfortable. The Owners are very helpful and available. I loved their breakfast restaurant across the street, I worked late every night so I was too tired to stop by their wine bar, it looked great. I will be staying here again.

I visited Chicago with three teenagers, ages 14 and 16. I wanted to use public transportation and be in an interesting and safe neighborhood away from the usual tourist areas. This spot was perfect. The El is a bit of a walk, but public transportation is close by and it's a nice city neighborhood. The owner was very helpful with transportation tips and available to deal with any problems. Most downtown attractions are about 30 + minutes away by public transportation. The only minor "problem" is that the front bedroom curtains don't block out much light so be prepared to get up with the sun. The apartment is on the second floor up a flight of stairs, which could be an issue for some. Otherwise I would definitely recommend for families or friends.

The area is very family oriented and lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Lake Michigan is in walking distance too. Downtown would be just a short train ride.

This spot is wonderful. It's definitely is in the quieter part of town but a train ride to everything by the brown line. The nearby bars and restaurants has some of the best service for casual fare in Chicago. We used the kitchen to make a fantastic meal out last night. It was also really great to have a washer and dryer on hand.If you like a little quiet when you get back from touring the city for a day this is your spot. There's a fireplace!

We had a great stay at Sopra Volo Guest Suite. We had a quick vacation before taking our son to college. We had plenty of room for four of us.
Jon was a great host from the beginning emails through our time there. He did everything he could to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed breakfast at Kitsch'n and dessert at Volo. Jon even helped us get to a great hamburger one evening by phone.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay at Sopra Volo was fantastic! The space was perfect even for our 4 young boys. They loved the movies, the playstation, and Guitar Hero! We never felt crowded.
Clean, well-maintained. Easy access to neighborhood restaurants with great food! The wine bar below the apartment has amazing food and will deliver up to you. Great for us since we had children with us.

I loved that this rental included all taxes and cleaning fees.
This location was great! My husband and I came to Chicago for our 10th anniversary and loved the neighborhood feel and the close proximity to the trains and buses. The 4 block walk to the brown line was easy and we always felt safe, even walking back after midnight Friday night. We walked up a couple of blocks to Addison and caught a bus that took us to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. I'd recommend the bus/train passes that you can buy to get around. At $14 for 3 days, we got our money's worth!
Although we never met with Jon, his staff was excellent and gave us great suggestions on things to do in downtown. When we checked in that first night we were surprised to be sent upstairs with a bottle of wine. Yummy!
I would say the one draw back is that it is above a wine bar, which was quite noisy each evening, but especially on the Saturday night when they had a wedding downstairs which lasted until midnight. The contract does warn that this may happen, but when we booked we didn't know that there would be a private function (and we booked just two weeks before arriving). My other comment has nothing to do with anything that can be changed, but if you haven't ever stayed in a building like this, be prepared that the only windows that let in any light are on the front of the building in the living room, so the rest of the apartment is quite dark.
We never did get a chance to eat/drink at the wine bar downstairs becuase we were saving it for Saturday night, and didn't realize the restaurant would be closed for the private party. We did eat at Kitsch'n and Orange across the street, and both were very good. I'd recommend both of these restaurants.
