The cabin was just as expected. Quaint, clean, roomy, and centrally located.

Great cabin in town to unwind after Snowboarding. Throw some logs on the fire, relax, chill and eat, sleep and repeat. Full kitchen, for making grub, snacks. For families I saw lots of games, puzzles etc.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property is close to town which made getting last minute necessities convenient. We enjoyed the smart tv with Apple TV access (and all the others) so we could enjoy some movies by the fire. My only suggestion would be to leave more trash bags (there was only one extra for our stay).

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and perfect walking distance to town and to Ponderosa Park. It has everything you need for a quick get away!

First time in McCall and we had a great time. Really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and the ability to cook our own food as we learned eating out in McCall is a feat of patience! Enjoyed some visits from local deer in the woods behind the cabin. Perfect location for walk into town, exploring the State Park, or even a round of golf!

Had a great time here. The cabin feels pretty secluded and it’s only a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and the lake. Very clean with lots of space. I would defiantly come back. :)

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this cozy family cabin. Our son (age 11) loved the private “sunroom” with half bath, and our daughter (Age 9) loved the cool loft. It snowed the entire time we were there, and the kids played out on the quiet street in the snow and the private area behind the cabin. We loved how close it was to town, along with the wood burning stove, game table in the sunroom, and fully stocked (older but clean) kitchen! We found everything we needed to make a birthday cake to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.

It was a very comfortable home and exactly as described in the description on VRBO. It was a short walk down to the lake, and into town. We chose to drive to Ponderosa State Park, but it was so close we probably could have walked. Mccall is one of my favorite places to spend time and this home was just perfect for my needs.

The word "secluded" in this listing is misleading there are neighbors surrounding the area. No outdoor fires allowed here and no AC. Made for some really hot days and warm nights during our July stay. Additionally one of the comforters on the bed was visibly soiled. There was dust all over the fan which was too high for us to reach to clean but we had to turn it on leaving dust clumps on ourselves and living room. The couches need to be replaced. There is one worn out pleather couch that is flaking away with every use. Then a lumpy futon reminiscent of junior high. The yard is unkempt and there are some sort of bee or wasps nests outside on the patio. I took photos but can't see a way to share them here. For the money it was a bummer for sure.

We enjoyed our stay for sure. Like any real-estate photos, some can be deceiving. The interior was better than the photos and the yard could use a little update, but overall everything was good to go. The walk to Steamers, great place, was short and easy. The drive to gather mushrooms and get some exercise with our pup was short and easy. The owners were very quick in response and very nice. The house is reasonable in cost, close to anything you might want to do and comfortable. I recommend this house and would rent from these owners again.

Charming home in a charming city. Everything we needed for a long weekend away from the mad rush! 5 year old granddaughter immediately unpacked her suitcase in "her" room - the loft! Will definitely stay again - next time in the summer! Thanks for sharing your home!

The bad: We showed up on our check-in day and the cabin had not been cleaned since the last guest. The better: Called the owner and he got the cleaning folks to come in about an hour and we wandered around McCall for a while while they cleaned. The good: The cabin was as-pictured and as-described. Our kids really liked the loft and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Clean and cozy, had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a cute place and clean. It's close to everything and a quiet neighborhood. My only suggestion would be investing in some better outdoor furniture and make the outdoor area a little more appealing. Otherwise, we loved it and would stay there again.

My teenage boys loved the loft area. Had good supply of cooking condiments. Clean and comfortable!

Location and little cabin’s space were great BUT both the front and back decks were totally unusable. They obviously hadn’t been swept since last summer, if then and were stacked with sleds(it was July) and other misc. junk.. The grass had not been mowed since last year, so the yard was unusable and full of mosquitos due to it’s length. The 2 bathrooms had exactly 12 squares of toilet paper between both and there were no extra rolls and there was no bar soap in the place, only one small hand wash bottle in one bathroom. It met our needs for space and location, but for the price, really could use some TLC. It could and should have been so much nicer.

This place was just what we needed. Arthur was great and very accommodating. Location was perfect and very close to everything.
