About this house rental
The Guest House is thoughtfully furnished with 1 king bed, 1 queen size bed, 1 twin roll-away. The living room has cable TV/DVD (second TV in BR), CD stereo, electric fireplace, WiFi. The kitchen is very well equipped including a spice rack, wine, champagne, martini & margarita glasses, brandy snifters & frosted beer mugs, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher & washer & dryer (detergent supplied). The dining area has a desk and views of the private backyard surrounded by stone walls (circa 1840's) and woods with an outdoor fire pit, 5 burner gas grill w/side burner, charcoal BBQ grill, patio furniture w/umbrella swing set, picnic table, 2 hammocks & 4 lounge chairs. The front deck has patio furniture w/umbrella and mountain views. We border Sunny Hill Golf Course (9 golf courses within a 14 mile radius). 32 minutes to Ski Windham. Our guests are invited to hike on 4+ miles of private trails & picnic areas on our 110 acres, visit with our horses, take the 12' rowboat & pedal boat on the pond. Heat & air conditioning. Golf Courses & Skiing & Horseback Riding: Thunderhart Golf Course is 3 min. away. Rainbow Golf Course is a 6 minute drive. Zoom Flume Water Park, Drive-In Theaters, Farmers Markets, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Historic Sites, Zip Line, Viking Obstacle Course, Fine Dining Ski Windham is 30 minute drive away offering ice skating, snow tubing, Adventure Center, snowboarding and skiing, snowmobiling for kids 6+. Hunter Mountain is 8 miles father than Ski Windham away offering snow shoeing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, snowboarding and skiing. Bailiwick Ranch & Discovery Zoo offer pony & Horseback riding on over 200 acres, including exotic animals & petting zoo. K&K Equestrian Center

Elizabeth was a friendly host but the property was dusty there was spider web and dust in the ceiling the king size bedroom door was broken can’t close all the way and the bed back board was also broken whenever we adjust our position when sleeping it will bang to the wall and make a loud bang noise making it hard to sleep, the backyard grill was beyond dirty looks like it hasn’t been clean for a long time we had to clean the grill and wash it before even using it which was annoying since we was tired from the drive up hate to give bad review but this is definitely a 2 star rating for us instead of 4 stars

Elizabeth was very welcoming and friendly as well as her pets, my kids had so much fun playing with the dog and petting the turkeys, got come fresh eggs, we had a great time, hope to go again. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was like a home away from home. Elizabeth was so very so nice. I would definitely recommend her place. The view of the Catskills was beautiful. It also is very close to Sunny Hill golf course.

Beautiful setting on farmland with horses, ducks + chickens actoss the road. We enjoyed the yard with friends/family around the firepit. It was less than a 10 minute drive from Irish Festival. Owner is a busy lady, but made time to welcome us + provide delicious fresh eggs. We had a great time...Thank you and good luck with the beautiful event barn + upcoming weddings. Gorgeous location.

The house was very clean and cozy! Elizabeth was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and offering to go to the market for us. Loved watching the deer and wild turkeys in the back yard. Easy 30 minute drive to Windham and Hunter mountains for some skiing. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for family of five. We went snowboarding at Windham and Hunter. Both just a 30-35 minute drive. Perfect price to be so close to the mountain.

Me and my friends booked a stay at this farm for peak Fall weekend. The farm is close to Windham Path and major attractions. Our host Elizabeth was very nice and offered us complementary farm fresh eggs when we checked in, and a frozen pizza for our stay. We could not find the tv remote and she went and got us a universal remote right away. What makes this place amazing is her hospitality. Overall place was perfect for our stay in Catskills.

I’ve stayed here two years in a row for an event in East Durham in October. It’s a very clean, quiet place. Very accommodating and stocked. Very quiet and out of the way but only a few minutes from grocery store, gas stations, good bars and restaurants. The small mix-up regarding check-in was quickly and appropriately remedied. I will be staying here again. Very comfortable.

It was a lovely weekend. We spent the entire stay in and around the house. The house itself is as advertised. Clean, neat and equipped with all essentials. At night the stars are out in full glory.

What an amazing experience. Beautiful scenery, extremely clean, and Elizabeth went beyond beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Every time we turned around there was something extra. We loved the farm fresh eggs, the wines from the local winery, even a complimentary pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the chickens and horses and touring the grounds of this beautiful farm. Nestled in the heart of the Catskills this would made a lovely wedding venue. We came for relaxing getaway. We left with a heart warming new friendship. We cannot wait to go back.

Very nice rental
We enjoyed our stay in the neat and clean mobile home. Elizabeth was kind and brought us eggs from her chickens. She invited us to use the paddle and row boats in her pond, as well as pet her horses nearby. We were surprised and excited to see a bear near the driveway, who was just lazily walking by. We would highly recommend this vacation rental!!

After several phone calls, we were able to get in touch with the owner who confirms we booked, but property is already occupied and has no idea what happened. Tries to call several hotels, but it’s a holiday weekend and no availability for the full dates we booked. We were offered a “Carriage House”, which was filled with props and materials from a wedding shoot, was unfit to stay in, and was only available for one night. We wound up having to figure out our own accommodations for the two nights booked, fortunately we had family in the area who were able to house us last minute. To the owners credit, we were promptly issued a full refund and later on the second day offered accommodations for the second night of our booking, which we declined . Not sure what happened with our reservation, but will never book with this property or Vrbo again.

The Guest House was so lovely, made for the perfect winter weekend getaway. Elizabeth took us on a great tour to see the animals and collect so many fresh eggs. Beautiful property, will definitely come back in warmer weather to explore it more!

A Quiet Inviting Get Away
This homey, warm get away was quite, well appointed and inviting. Even though our guests we reserved it for had a change of plans, we went to the property any way to check it out. The owner communicated with us all along the way, and left us a dozen fresh organic eggs from her chickens. This sweet, quiet space has all you need for a time away from it all. We will definitely book it again.

There were plenty if extra towels and linens. The kitchen is well equipped as well as the pantry with main staples like coffee and condiments. We were welcomed with some fresh eggs & left with some too! Elizabeth was an absolute pleasure to speak to. She incited our girls over to collect eggs, brush Deja (horse) and feed the chickens. We also had access to a paddle boat which we rode around in the farm’s pond. My littlest wasn’t a fan so it was a short rise but fun nonetheless! What an amazing background for beautiful family pictures! The backyard and front yard of the guest house offer plenty of space to run around and play in. We just have nothing bad to say about the stay. Will definitely be back. There is plenty to do nearby though we didn’t do much exploring. Thanks Elizabeth for sharing this wonderful home with us!

We found this to be a perfect place for a vacation, when you would like to decompress after a crazy busy lifestyle. It is nice and quiet. Elizabeth, the owner, is a kind and generous person. She gave us fresh eggs and corn from the farm. There is a lot of open space to walk around and play sports. I wish it would not be raining that much...

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's property, it was extremely clean and comfortable. We were provided with everything we needed and then some (farm fresh eggs!). The kids loved visiting with the chickens and horses at her farm across the road. The location was great, beautiful setting. Would absolutely recommend this property.
