Ocean Sounds Cottage has a fully fenced yard and is two houses from the Tolomato River where you will enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. It's just a three block walk to North Beach on the very special Barrier Island town of Vilano. We have the perfect spot for the best of both world vacation...a beach that is close...Publix is a mile a way...great restaurants nearby...looking for excitement? just cross the bridge and head to downtown St. Augustine...St. George Street has a plethora of things to do for everyone. Or head to the Alligator Farm, which is so much more than alligators! The best part is when you are done, you cross our bridge back to Vilano, to a view like no other and before you know it you are back in paradise. We call it the quiet side vs all the excitement you might want! This coastal cottage was a captains quarters at a military base. It has been remodeled to capture the charm of the historic home. The vaulted ceilings create an open feel, with a skylight in the living room adding to the airy feel. If you enjoy coffee, we offer French Press, Kuerig, and Mr, Coffee. Locally ground coffee is provided for our French Press, and we offer many Kuerig options. The outdoor shower is a guest favorite with hot and cold water. Bathrobes are also available. A Bluetooth speaker is in the kitchen ceiling...it's easy to sync your phone to listen to your favorite music. There is also a television in each of the bedrooms, as well as the living room. We have many amenities that we hope you will appreciate, including toiletries, beach gear, baby gear, and a fully stocked kitchen, including pots, pans, utensils, spices, and basic cooking needs. We have a doggie door, treats, and other supplies. We do have a security camera that faces the driveway. It is located on the fence. This is the only device we have.
