Nestled in Holden Beach, this attractive house for $948 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. "Saltans of Swing" offers you the best of both worlds. Enjoy amazing views of the marsh and Intracoastal waterway on one side and the ocean on the other! This recently updated (spring of 2018) 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home is located just across the street from the ocean with both public and separate private deeded beach access. This home whose owner is in the furniture industry and just commissioned a complete interior remodel from top to bottom including kitchens bathrooms, flooring, appliances, furniture, decor, and paint, and is now spectacularly appointed for your family to completely enjoy after a nice long day at the beach. Saltans of Swing has a reverse floor plan allowing you to take advantage of endless views in the open concept great room and kitchen located on the second floor. The fully stocked new kitchen has full windows with incredible views, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, designer lighting, brand new soft close cabinets and has plenty of seating at the dining table for those family style meals. The master bedroom and bathroom is conveniently located on the second floor with the living room and kitchen. One of the nicest amenities you will find are the front and back porches letting you enjoy the marsh AND ocean views. Downstairs you will find three more bedrooms, two full bathrooms, the laundry room, and a small den which is great for a kids entertainment area. The entertainment area is stocked with board games, videos and TV. Two of the guest bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom and also have direct access to porches to watch the wildlife along the Intracoastal waterway. The third bedroom on this level has it's own private bathroom. Under the home you will find a private outdoor shower, plenty of covered and uncovered parking, a picnic table, and a large storage unit for beach toys, bikes, surf fishing poles, etc... Besides having a fully stocked kitchen, Saltans of Swing also offers guests a gas grill, beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 adult bikes and a couple bikes for the kids to explore the island, beach toys, kites, and a buggy/cart to easily carry everything to the beach. Unlike other beaches that can get over crowded, Holden Beach has limited public parking and is a quiet, wide, sandy beach that is only enjoyed by other renters and permanent residents. This beach and this house in particular offers spectacular views of the stars. This is the perfect vacation rental for a large family, extended family, or a multifamily vacation. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about this home! Bed sizes: 4 Queens Coffee maker: Drip PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING: You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old. NO house parties, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise NO fire pits or deep fryers permitted on premise Please note the fireplace is decorative only (if applicable) Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and peace of mind. *Please note the 5% processing fee of the total reservation amount is non-refundable after booking* Up to two dogs allowed, 55 lbs each, $200 per dog In the peak season (Memorial Day - Labor Day), whole house linens and towels are part of the cleaning fee and are included in your reservation. All beds will be made up upon arrival with top and fitted sheets, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be provided per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel. **In the off-season (Labor Day - Memorial Day), linens and towels are NOT included in your reservation and are an optional additional fee of $175 at the time of booking. You can choose to bring your own linens and towels, or rent through a third party. (Last minute bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens!)** We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin. This is my second time at this property and it was perfect again. Beautiful marsh views from the back of the house with plenty of deck space for sitting with friends. Large spaces to hang out with everyone with beautiful furnishings and lots of light. Close to beach access, on the quiet end of Holden. Great spot and I can’t wait to come back!

Communication and assistance from the property manager was fantastic and they made sure everything was top notch. The location to the beach was great and the views from the many balconies were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Great location, easy walk to the beach and fantastic view of the Intracoastal out the back. Good beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards and wagon to transport everything.
As stated in previous reviews regarding the property, the check in was past 4PM. Needs to be addressed. The property mgr . was responsive to texts. Not that you go to the beach to watch TV but the cable pkg was less than basic. For what you pay in season, it needs to be upgraded.

The decks and location to the beach were amazing! We had a great time in the place. Our only issue was a late check in because the cleaning staff were still working. We understand they were understaffed so it was not a huge deal but if you want to get in early or at the time stated I would suggest communicating ahead of time and that day.
Communication with the host was very easy. We had an issue with the dishwasher and he responded within minutes to my message and had someone out to fix it quickly.
We would recommend this place and stay there again.

The description seemed accurate if we were in 2018 when the renovations were done. While acceptable in most regards, my overall impression is that the place needs a refresh or the promoted description needs updating to give the shopper a true picture and not a dated one.
Two things really stood out and both were important for a vacationer who planned the gathering to be primarily at the rented location and they both went to the basics of such a stay and involved food preparation. The non-stick skillets were scratched and in my opinion unusable and even unsafe. I had to go to my residence and get skillets. The other was even worse and was the grill. It was grungy and had to have been that way for a long time. It needs replacement. Surely some previous guest must have reported this. We did not cook the steaks we bought and instead had to go out and spend close to $500 for a steak dinner at a restaurant.
I spent over $2000 for 4 days and I surely expected more. I will not do this again.

Loved the view of the marsh! The kitchen was well stocked and the overall space was just right for our family and our goldendoodle. Would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and see the sunset over the marsh. Everything as clean, the check in/out process was simple. Nothing bad to stay, hope we can come again next year!

The view from the living room of the ocean on your left and the marsh on your right was amazing. Our dog also had a great time hanging out on the porches and watching the birds. Beach access only about 3 minute walk from the house too.

Great place to go with your family! The house was a little further from the beach access than I was expecting but it was a flat walk out to the beach- easy to use our stroller and the beach wagon that was provided. The house was great- beautifully decorated and made us feel like we were at a friends place. Thank you for letting us make memories in your home!

Great location and very clean
The location was great and the house was clean with all the amenities my family needed for a nice getaway. The owner was helpful with any questions I had upon arrival. Being able to bring our Pomeranian was a plus!

Our overall experience was great. Getting to experience the sound and marshlands as well as the ocean was the best part of our trip. We spent many hours on the porch. We love to cook and were a little disappointed with the lack of cookware and the quality of pans that were available.

Hurricane Isaias kept us away
Holden Beach declared a mandatory evacuation starting the Saturday of our arrival. Rob, the property manager, was very nice and kept in contact with us updating us as soon as he was updated on the status of the evacuation and potential reopening of the island. Unfortunately, Holden Beach did not reopen for us to be able to go on our vacation. Although, we did not get to enjoy this property to give a proper review, I will give a review for the property management company.
I will definitely use Rob again to rent a vacation home in the future. In the 30 years we have traveled as a family for beach vacations, we have never had the experience of our vacation being disrupted by a hurricane. Rob made our experience the best he could, even giving us other options to still be able to enjoy a family vacation. He kept his word with keeping us updated, and processed our refund right away. I read many other comments on social media pages with renters being outraged with the lack of communication with their rental companies.

Booking process was smooth and accommodating. House was exactly as described and the interior renovations were lovely. It was a bit of a walk to the beach access point which was unexpected. View over the marsh was beautiful.

Great Vacation Spot
We booked this home for a last minute vacation and it was perfect! The management company is SO responsive to any issues. It is a short walk to the beach and the views are amazing from the kitchen and back porch! We would definitely stay here again!
