SARASOTA, less than a 30 minute drive away, provides many Manhattan amenities, including the Sarasota Opera; the Ringling Mansion, Art Museum, School of Art, and Circus Museum which has old circus wooden wagons, and railroad cars. Downtown Sarasota offers numerous excellent restaurants, high end shopping and art galleries – more of these establishments may be found on St. Armand’s Key, just across the bridge over Sarasota Bay.
