Great except the booming music from the prom party down stairs til 11pm

Great fitness facility and breakfast variety was great. Location to the beach and downtown is great

Prom music was TOO loud and lasted til 11pm and that was a huge inconvenience to us

Would never stay here again.

We had requested adjoining rooms at the time of booking and I had called several times prior to the stay. The manager had reassured us it would be no problem. Our flight was delayed and they gave away our rooms despite my phone calls and the fact that we had PREPAID for the rooms. The two rooms were 42 rooms apart. The breakfast buffet was like a Soviet crisis in the 1980s with them running out of food long before the 9:30 closing time. Then - the staff closes up the buffet 15min before 9:30 and are incredibly unhelpful. In fact, the staff weee consistently rude and unhelpful throughout our entire stay. This place is not worth the money. I would never stay here again.

Location and vibe

Housekeeping did not come every day even though we left the sign off of our room. Hotel had fees not disclosed on Booking.com. We ended up paying more than our booking.com quote

Fantastic Hotel

The rooms are very spacious. It is a true suite with a couch and desk area as well as a very comfortable bed. There is a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was large with ample towels. The hot tub was great. The heated pool was beautiful but not very heated. Parking on site was convenient. Buffet breakfast included scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage patties and other regular breakfast items that you would expect. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and across the street from Fort Clinch but about a 10 minute drive to downtown Fernando’s Beach.

Hate fighting over charges that were not explained or easily resolved.

Very nice

Strange lay out of the hotel. Received a charge on my credit card larger than the statement at checkout and STILL trying to get it resolved. Frustrating!

Because of the excessive pet fee we will not stay here again.

Very clean and nice staff.

$100 fee for 2 nights for a pet is excessive. Had to sign a paper stating that your dog would never be left alone in the room. Absurd. The breakfast ends at 9:30 and that is a bit early. When we did have breakfast it was not impressive.

Exceptional

The place looked new, clean, reception was super friendly and efficient and very nice to my dog! It would be a us if pet fee can get lowered fromm 100/pet/night since it didn't seem fair for my well behaved dog. The location was perfectly near the center and the dog friendly beach and Fort clinch Park. Staff,maintenance and anyone who greeted us during g our short stay was very pleasant and helpful.

Friendly staff. Clean room with many towels. Safe deposit box. Near beach and a short drive to tourist area. Nice pool.

Safety deposit box on floor. Early end to breakfast (9am). Breakfast often cooler than desired. Weak drinks at poolside bar...for the price.

Very pleasant stay and the hotel is lovely!

The amenities were great! The staff was courteous, the facilities were clean and comfortable.

The drinks were overpriced. The refrigerator wasn’t very functional.

Great location, very family friendly.

We really liked the location and the facilities. The pool is very nice and large. Breakfast was great and the hotel was very clean. We felt comfortable and very safe the whole time. Loved seeing that the families having such a good time at the hotel.

Lack of knowledge and no communication at the pool bar. Running out food and not communicating with guest. Offering Starbucks is wonderful, whoever not all the teamembers are train to be barista so they will turn you away.

Overall a great stop in Amelia Island before we got our condo

Very nice room. Excellent bar with great food at pool. Convenient parking.. Very nice pool and hot tub. great location in Fernandina Beach. Very close to excellent restaurants in the area.

Only complaints- limited selection at breakfast ( and they closed it down at 9:00 am) and they only clean room every other day

I did not eat there.

I did not like having to pay for parking for a $350.00 per night room . Tv set up was poor you were directed to sign onto your personal accounts to watch any show other than local tv!

The room was very nice and the staff was very helpful.

Breakfast started out well with fruit in the morning, hard, boiled eggs, etc. After that, no fruit in the morning, no hard, boiled eggs and being a person who cannot have dairy or wheat. It was not much to choose from.

Booked the hotel through a third-party and was not told they would be a $60 hold on my credit card for incidentals. I was not very happy about this at all. Also, we were charged $15 a day for parking which is absurd. They said we were at the beach I said big deal I live near the beach and I don’t have to pay for parking when I stay at a hotel there.

Convenient pain in the ass.

The location to the beach is amazing! It is a short walk and makes going back to the room easy.

The elevators are a nightmare, take the stairs!!! They charge $15 a day ON TOP of your room to park your car in their parking lot. This is an absolutely absurd charge considering most people don’t just appear at their destination!!! Just roll it into the hotel price.

Relaxing & Comfortable

The room was huge and had the most comfortable bed. The pool area had plenty of chairs and a nice bar area. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was delicious. The beach was a short walk from the hotel and there was a park to walk the dogs in. There are two restaurants within a 25 mins walk from the property and the food was outstanding.

The area to walk the dogs on the hotel property was small and the stairs could only be used in emergencies. There were only 2 elevators in the main lobby area which resulted in us having to wait a bit during the busy times if we had out pups with us.

no view of the beach, walk to the beach is not far but that particular beach access is very public and crowded. We went to a different beach the next day by driving a short distance.
