Cama confortável e a limpeza é bem bacana.
Aclimatação do quarto não é bacana, quarto escuro, café da manhã péssimo, não reservem com café (um “Grab and go”) com pessoas bem rudes servindo. Detestei. Pra dormir é ótimo e nada mais. Falam que tem uma visão linda da cidade. Não tem. Prédio baixo. Recepcionistas bem fracos, mas o pior foi o atendimento do café. A água não fica tão quentinha.

Convenient location
They charged an exorbitant pet fee of $350.00 for the stay (2 nights) the Television was not working (oh staff states that it had been like that for several days) . The bathroom heater was non-functional- and the construction going on started at 7:00am in the morning!

El desayuno es un engaño. Te dan café aguado o té y un bollito . Un día no hubo nada porque el panadero no fue. Es un hostal más que un hotel de 4 estrellas. Horrible en general.

The staff, specifically Raymond and Danny. Beds were good size and comfortable.
This hotel has two things going for it, the staff we encountered and the locaton......and that's all folks! The standard of the rooms is very poor. The hotel is outdated and badly in need of upgrading. The rooms look nothing like the photos. We had booked this long awaited trip to New York for a significant birthay present. While the room was big and storage was plenty with a decent bed, it was very old and tired. The TV stopped after the first night and when we called reception, they confirmed they had lost service likely due to the building works right next door which we were not advise of prior to our trip. At no time was there a note left in the room to explain this service interruption. The room was cleaned every day, but some of the towels we got had old stains on them. We don't ask for towels every day, but when we got them, some really needed to be binned and were either stained or ripped. After the second night my wife went to reception to discuss our deep disappointment. She met Raymond who was very sorry to hear our concerns and went out of his way to resolve the situation. Our room was changed that day and when we came back all our things had been left up to the room. Danny who takes care of the luggage was also extremely attentive. Raymond and Danny certainly make this trip for us. Thereafter every time we saw Raymond and Danny, they would have the chats with us and make sure we were happy. Danny also arranged our taxi on our lat day making sure we got a great driver to take us to the airport when we were travelling home.
We felt sorry for the staff as we saw many people who were not happy and complaining. We feel that as it's greatest asset, the staff should not be put in the position where they have to deal with so many complaining guests.
As already stated, the location of this hotel is great, but it really needs to be worked on. Taking a holiday in New York, for most people, requires a lot of money to be laid down.

Excepcional... lo recomiendo 100%... es muy comodo, super limpio y la mejor ubicacion de Manhattan.. el metro muy cerquita..Yoko y Elizabeth en el vestibulo son super amables y muy atentas... y el Sr Danny el brazileño es super chevere y te guarda las maletas sin nada a cambio antes del chek-in y despues del chek-out... mi esposo y yo quedamos muy satisfechos y agradecidos con el hotel 57 y todos los q nos atendieron

Location
when i booked this hotel through booking, breakfast was included. when we arrived at the hotel, at reception we were told that breakfast was served from 7 to 10 am. The first day we went for breakfast around 8:30 am and there was nothing left to eat, just a few apples. as a result, breakfast was limited and often not enough for all the guests. breakfast consisted of 2 pieces of pastry per guest, plus coffee or tea and fruit, as the bananas disappeared quickly.
i think it's disgraceful for a hotel to have this kind of service and say in the booking that breakfast is included. The truth is that every day around 8:30am/9am there was nothing left to eat. I suggest booking without breakfast because it's not worth it.

The location is excellent. The person responsible for luggage on the ground floor, Mr Daniel, is extremely attentive and friendly. He made a point of asking us if we were satisfied with our stay and if we needed anything. He took very good care of our bags. Always with a smile on his face, giving us confidence and joy.
The receptionists were not attentive. Extremely apathetic when dealing with us. Nothing friendly at our check-in. If it weren't for the location, value for money and the service provided by the guys with our bags, we would have had a bad impression of the hotel. The elevators are also old, but the only problem is a little delay when called. I believe it is due to the number of people staying.

We zijn het meest tevreden over de ligging van het hotel. Dichtbij metrostations, Central Park en ook Times Square is op loopafstand (20 minuten).
We hadden een grote kamer, voor 4 personen en voldoende kastruimte. De kamer werd netjes schoon gehouden.
We mochten gratis gebruik maken van een koelkast op de kamer.
Voor ons was de prijs gunstig in verhouding tot de prijs die nu voor het hotel wordt gevraagd (ongeveer 300 dollar per nacht).
Het viel ons tegen dat onze kamer aan de achterzijde van ons hotel was gelegen waar momenteel (en het komende jaar, tot medio 2025 schatten we) een wolkenkrabber wordt gebouwd. Er was veel geluidsoverlast vanaf 's morgens vroeg en de ramen dempen niet.
Het ontbijt was een aanfluiting. Je mocht zogezegd 2 mini zoete broodjes per persoon, dat was al karig op zich, maar vaak was het ontbijt na acht uur al op. Volgens de hotelmanager is het ontbijt een service en geen recht, dus had je gewoon pech als het op was. Ook wees hij naar andere gasten, die volgens hem meer meenamen (onmogelijk want een strenge vrouw deelde uit) of leverde de bakkerij minder dan afgesproken. Feedback werd niet gewaardeerd.

Excellent location, easy walking to distance to subway, Central Park and many other midtown attractions.
The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable which was perfect for us. We didn’t spend much time in the room.

Location is great. Staff is trying to be friendly but many of them have gotten so used to guests complaining that they are unpleasant in their responses and their feeling of powerlessness takes over and hinders their ability to serve customers properly… they are not empowered and not given freedom to help as they can and should.
One staff member distinguishes himself far above everyone else in his positive attitude.
Where to start… Advertised complementary breakfast was not available until our 4th day. Limiting how many pastries each person can take seems quite childish.
Hotel needs a lot of renovation… things are falling apart left and right.
We had to leave earlier than anticipated due to personal obligations, the staff and the management did not even respond (positively or negatively) to our request to pull in our check out date…

Personal de recepción intentó engañarnos con el servicio de consigna de maletas (gratuito pero con propinas y había que dejarla sospechosamente ya y a él). A las horas volvimos a preguntar a otro personal y nos dijo el coste real (10$ por maleta)
El desayuno era solo café, te, frutas (plátano, manzana, pera y naranja)

Die Herren, die die Koffer nach dem Check out entgegen nahmen und bis zur Abreise aufbewahrten waren sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich.
Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht! Es gab nur Kaffee, Wasser und Tee zu trinken. Zum Essen nur Äpfel und Birnen, auf Anfrage hat man eine Banane bekommen!!!! Geht gar nicht. Die beiden Frühstücks Damen waren nicht sehr kooperativ, genervt und nicht hilfsbereit. Das Obst wurde genau abgezählt, kam man ein bisschen später -gab es gar nichts mehr.

La señora camarera de los desayunos. Muy poco afable y empática.
Casi siempre con malas caras y contestaciones impropias de una persona que trabaja de cara al público.
Me llegó a recriminar de malas formas, por coger un simple muffin por el papel de la esquinita. Me dijo que utilizase las pinchas para ello también, (aunque las utilicé en todo momento y para todo lo demás), ya que si estuviese enfermo, podría llegar a contagiar al resto de usuarios. Cuando ella misma cogía hasta cuatro muffin a la vez con las manos sin guantes ni pinzas tampoco para colocar los mismos. Así como cogía contÍanuamente las bandejas y cajas de plástico donde iban ubicados todos los dulces, metiendo todos los dedos y por supuesto ni se me ocurre, ni ocurrirá nunca llamarla la atención por ello. Pero vamos, que dió ejemplo mas bien poco. Y si alguna vez salía con guantes, los mismos estaban preciosos. Así que a mi humilde parecer, creo que sería mas propicio estar menos pendiente de si un cliente coge un muffin de la esquinita del papel e intentar ser un poquito mas amable y servicial con los clientes.

Hotel was in a great location. The coffee and pastries offered in the morning were nice. Our room and bathroom were clean, although hotel needs a decor update.
Hallways and elevator are in serious need of a decor update. However all spaces were clean and for us that was the most important thing.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good with everything we needed close by.
The room was very small and most of the outlets did not work. Since my wife uses an oxygen concentrator this was an issue. Additioally there was no mini-refridgerator.

The lifts broke down constantly the room was not a standard of one star we saw a rat in hallway we had two booking and left after 1dat and never returned as we pre paid we could get no refund I will be speaking to legal advisor to get justice for this appalling hotel

We loved the Hotel and the location! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. They let us store our luggage before and after check in which was very very nice for us. We will be back!!

It was close to metro and in walking distance to Centrál park
The beds were very small, majority of staff was not friendly at all and breakfast was very poor- two muffins and very bad coffee. Sometimes even no coffee at all. There were constructions works just next to the hotel and it was impossible to sleep longer after they started at 7 am.

Clean, well located, some staff very helpful, particularly the female concierge, cleaners and the baggage check staff. Beds were comfortable.
Only 1 of 3 elevators was working, no coffee left in the grab and go breakfast area, business center computers were locked and no one in the hotel knew the passwords. The male concierge annoyingly initially sent me back up to the business center saying he'd send someone up with the password who never came, then when I came back down 30 minutes later made up an explanation that was patently false about engineers and lights being broken when the lights and the computers were all perfectly functional; they just needed the password to be unlocked. The female concierge very helpfully just printed off the two pages I needed to print. Overall I have stayed in much nicer Motel 6's.

Le petit-déjeuner nest pas un vrai petit-déjeuner, ce qui devrait être précisé lors de la réservation. Par ailleurs, Si vous souhaitez des viennoiseries et du café, vous devez probablement attendre un moment car une seule employée doit s’occuper du refill pour de nombreux clients.
L’un des ascenseurs (voire 2 parfois) était hors-service et nous avons dû, à plusieurs reprises, mettre plusieurs minutes pour atteindre le rez de chaussée depuis le 16e étage.

I had a bad experience with a member of breakfast staff who behaved hostile towards me. I reported the incident to reception but I never had a follow-up about it. The grab and go breakfast poor, stale pastries every day. No cutlery.

-Colazione inesistente, farebbero meglio a togliere direttamente il servizio così uno non si illude. Il “buffet” è composto da croissant, muffin e un’altro tipo di dolce oltre a delle mele avvolte dalla pellicola. Come bevande c’è Il dispenser di caffè americano e i termos con il latte. Già alle 8 del mattino, vedi foto, non è presente più niente, questo è successo due mattine su tre.
-Nonostante nella foto ci sia il boxdoccia in vetro la nostra camera aveva la vasca con la tenda.

The fitness center
We woke up to water on the floor steam everywhere and water pouring out of the wall. It ruined my daughter’s coat, her school notebook, headshots, school book. When we let them know in they did give us a new room but the maintenance man came in and starting tearing apart the heat unit, mattress and whole room with all our things still in the room in total disregard for the fact that I was standing in the room with our things still in the room, he threw my daughters coat in the corner after it was already soaked in the filthy water - $200 coat ruined. Then he pulled up the mattress came darting toward me -Inhad no where to go so I went in the bathroom then he put the mattress in the bathroom pinning me in the bathroom corner and I couldn’t get out - I screamed and he finally moved the mattress to let me out. He was rude to my daughter and very mean. We had to move all our things while my daughter was trying to stay calm to get ready for a musical theater audition. I was completely distraught crying hysterically the man never said he wa sorry management never came up to see if we were OK and the lady at the front for check in, although she listening to me- did not know anything about it. It was a public health hazard to put us in that room. The Dit was center was very modern and clean- the only good thing about the hotel. The elevator made loud noise ALL night.

Imprescindible subir a la terraza, y disfrutar de las vistas, tanto por la noche como por el día. He viajado muchas veces a New York, y este hotel`por precio muy asequible, merece la pena, sin duda.
