Situated in Beech Mountain, this lovely house for $406 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to this unique mountain home! Enjoy this amazing SKI IN SKI OUT property located close to the base of Beech Mountain. Walk, ride, or ski to local restaurants. The property is conveniently located on the White Lightning ski run. Take a brief walk to the base of Beech Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Brewery. Have a birds-eye view on the back patio to all kinds of LIVE MUSIC at the resorts many venues and guests can take a lift to the famous 5506 Sky Bar at the top of Oz run. Enjoy mountain bike riding and hiking up the Emerald Outback trails to see the amazing Elk River Valley and Pride Rock overlooks. Have amazing wine at Banner Elk Winery for a tasting you will never forget and visit the Buckeye Recreation Center housed with activities such as fly fishing, horseback riding, UTV tours, an Alpine roller coaster, white water rafting, and tubing. Guests will also have access to Beech Mountain Club (for a fee) where you can enjoy private restaurants, professional golf, tennis, and a heated pool. Guest passes must be requested in advance.

This is the second year that we have booked this home and it is perfect for our blended, growing family. The ski in, ski out option is great for everyone to ski/snow board at their own pace and on their own schedule. Babies napped, while Pop-pop stayed at the house and the mamas could hop on the slopes. We’ll be back!

9 friends stayed Saturday-Tuesday. Check-in and communication with host was great. The house can easily accommodate 14 people comfortably. Location and proximity to the run and lift was perfect. The hot tub was great for after a long day on the runs. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely house for larger groups. Amazing view of the Beech Mountains ski hill. Easy to deal with the hosts. The ski in/out wasn’t ideal but it’s close to a parking lot by the slopes. Long driveway for multiple cars. Well stocked kitchen. Dining accommodations for 10.

My family (6 to 80 years old) enjoyed our Christmas ski vacation. The house was roomy, comfortable, well appointed and the location can't be beat. Down the stairs and you're on the slope! And when we ran into a problem (not the owners' fault) they were accommodating and available. Great spot and great house. We would stay there again.

Excellent location but has bed bugs!! We came home with bites ALL over us. We would love to book again but wish the hosts would have told us of the infestation BEFORE we booked.

This house was perfect for our group. We had 4 couples plus my 19yo son (student at Lees McCrae College) and our dog. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and plenty of bathrooms too. We enjoyed the hot tub, air hockey and gas fireplaces. Weather was iffy with unexpected tropical storm one day followed by snow the next. Still had a blast. Got in some nearby hiking at Oz. Great house right on the slopes at Beech!

We had an absolutely lovely stay! I highly recommend this place for friends and family! This home is plenty big enough for multiple families and all your activities! Perfect distance to restaurants and walking distance to the slopes!

This home is gorgeous and in a great location. We will definitely be staying there again. You can sit in the window when you’re not on the slopes and watch the skiers and just look at the beauty. The home has some much room. I can’t say enough good things about it.

NC Getaway
Highly recommend this incredible mountain home right on slopes of Beech Mountain. We were two families of 5 and commented that we could have fit a third family.
House layout was great with separate areas for all and fun bottom level for kids with air hockey, TV, and bunk bedroom. Hot tub and other amenities were great.
Short walk to base of mountain if not ready to ski out.
Only consideration is vehicle needs to be 4/Awd if ice or snow but we made it up fine.
Definitely worth a visit.

Perfect location!!
My family just spent 5 days here and it was wonderful! I really appreciate the owners getting a plow out to the house because the driveway after all the snow was hard to drive on. We had two kids (3 and 6) with us and so being able to drive down to the ski resort in 5 minutes was wonderful! We also had some adults who were able to walk to the slopes which that was great too! The views from the deck are amazing! The back steps i will say were hard to navigate after all the snow but at the same time the house sitting where it was had a wonderful view so those steps were just the price to pay for the view. We loved the split living situation with two living areas one upstairs and one down! Perfect for multiple families! We had a great time and will be back!

We own VRBO rentals in another state so we know that owners may not be aware of what their managers are doing. That said, this place needs an overhaul. The kitchen was filthy. Pans were burnt and needed replacing. Dishwasher was full of dishes. Surfaces needed wiping down. Dirty clothes were in the closet from prior rental. That’s controllable with property management. Structurally there is a major issue. You actually walk downhill once inside at the foyer!! House is possibly slipping off of foundation. Stress cracks are also forming from movement. The Ski in Ski out is not accurate as the steps leading to slopes are impossible to manage with ski boots on. They are too narrow on tread. Daughter had to get on all fours to cross the bridge due to no railings once she finally was able to get down.

Great Family Getaway!

Beautiful home
This home is absolutely amazing with plenty of room for groups. The hot tub is huge. We enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was we had an issue with the lock and called and texted the owners but didn’t get a response. We solved the problem on our own and had a great rest of our trip!! I absolutely recommend this home and would book it again.
