The cutest cottage on the cutest cove with a brand new dock! Whether you’re into rosé & summer sun, hot chocolates in winter, a week off or a weekend away, Cove Cottage has water front views to help you relax, unwind and enjoy the best of Aquidneck Island. One hour from Boston, and just 25 minutes to Newport, you have endless possibilities for what to do. We prefer taking advantage of the selection of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Take out the kayaks or paddle board around the cove, explore the Sakonnet River, take a quick trip to Tiverton Four Corners for local shops, or Little Compton and Westport for some breweries and vineyards. Dog friendly home - and we highly recommend Portsmouth Dog Park, or taking advantage of the dog friendly beaches for long walks with your pup. *Please note, dogs accepted only. Just a friendly low key neighborhood with a lot to offer! And a ton of opportunity to relax and unwind. Amenity Notes: Please note, due to seasonality and proximity to the water, certain amenities are not always available, for example the kayaks and firepit. Please reach out in advance if you're looking to use a particular amenity and we'll try our best to accommodate requests. Following amenities available between May 29, 2023 (Memorial Day Weekend) through to September 4, 2023 (Labor Day): - 2x Kayaks and Paddle Board - Outdoor Shower - Water based amenities including life jackets, beach towels etc. Following amenities available between May 29, 2023 (Memorial Day Weekend) until October 15th 2023: -Firepit -Dock Guests have access to the entire property except for the outdoor shed, outdoor office and basement. Washer and dryer are available to guests staying longer than 7 nights

It's a nice place and I really appreciated the fenced in yard for my two dogs.

The house and setting were beautiful. And even in autumn, when we couldn't get out on the water, the kids had so much fun in the yard and with the board games provided. We will definitely be back, and I can't recommend it enough!

The cottage was welcoming with a great layout and the water view from the back yard is amazing. Very clean, quick responses from Luke, would not hesitate to return again. Highly recommend.

This water front property is absolutely beautiful. We loved waking up next to the water everyday. You have a whole dock to yourself where you can walk out, take in the views and go kayaking. What’s even better is that it has a fenced in yard and allows my dog to enjoy these views with me! The house is very adorable, clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at Luke’s and Cori’s cottage. It is a lovely home. It is exactly as in the photos - clean and very comfortable. It is also very well provisioned. The view is beautiful and there is a lovely deck and an awesome dock. Also, a great outdoor shower. We enjoyed kayaking, hanging out on the deck and relaxing, and exploring Newport and Providence. We will be back for sure as long as Luke and Cori continue to share their home!

Even in the winter this is a great spot. House is a perfect size with a great view. It was a pleasure to work with Luke. Lots of excellent places to eat, walk, wander.

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful mini weekend getaway at this adorable cottage on the cove. Beautiful views, great location, and very clean. We felt right at home the moment we stepped in. The host, Luke, was great! Always responded right away to any questions we had. We are already looking forward to a future visit.

My husband and I rented this property for our honeymoon and loved it! It not only has a gorgeous view from the back patio, but it's in a great location if you are wanting to travel to different areas in Rhode Island/Massachusetts. Luke was extremely responsive throughout our stay and answered all of our questions! Check in and check out are quick and easy. We loved that the TV came with logins to all the big steaming services - something small that we really appreciated. The beds are both comfortable and the kitchen is a great size. We enjoyed every moment of our stay!

My husband and I visited RI for our 5th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations than what we experienced at this property. What a charming waterfront cottage! Clean, comfortable, and quiet with all the comforts of home. Beautifully decorated as well! Plenty of room for us and the space can easily accommodate another couple or a family of four. We enjoyed unseasonably warm temps during our early November visit so we were able to enjoy the deck with beautiful views of the cove. We did most of our exploring in Newport (downtown, mansions, and Cliff Walk) and the cottage was no more than 20-30 minutes away from our adventures - far enough to feel quiet and removed from the hubbub but close enough to be convenient. The owner (Luke) and I communicated via text - he was available and informative. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay and will certainly keep this cottage in mind for a return visit!

An awesome home on the water in Portsmouth, literally walk from the back yard to ur awaiting kayak and paddle board . A short drive into Newport for all the excitement the city has to offer. The owners are awesome and so attentive and accommodating. Looking forward to a return trip for sure.

This was the second time I stayed at Cove Cottage. THe cottage is located on a dead end street, on the water. The view from the deck is beautiful with the water, boats and wildlife. My goal on vacation is always to relax and enjoy nature - The Cove Cottage is the perfect place if you want to enjoy the sun, water, wildlife and quiet.
THe house is clean, nicely decorated and has everything needed for a peaceful stay.
I will surely visit again soon.
Communication was also excellent with host and he was responsive to my questions, needs.

Peaceful escape with gorgeous views
The experience of staying at the cottage was fantastic from the beginning. The owner Luke is very responsive, and even he called to make sure everything was ok. The views are just breathtaking and the location couldn't be more convenient to stores, and restaurants. The cottage is the perfect size for 4 adults, very clean and nicely decorated. There is a fenced-in yard that makes the stay less stressful with pets and children. We spent almost every day swimming, kayaking, and exploring Rhode Island. Newport is 30 minutes away and so are lots of beautiful beaches. Wonderful trip and vacation, looking forward to doing it again.

Relaxing trip to Portsmouth RI
The owners of this beautiful home made me and my family including our dogs very comfortable. We all had a great relaxing visit and the weather was perfect. The house is welcoming ,clean w/everything u need… fenced in yard and porch made having our dogs safe as this property is waterfront… just beautiful !!

Amazing stay
This is the cutest cottage. Amenities were A+. Nice and clean and the back yard was perfect for our pups. Host was very good with communication and gave us several ideas on things to do that were terrific! 5 star rating. Definitely would book again! Thank you!
