Wallace and Nancy's B&B is beautiful, clean, well appointed, and oh so peaceful. We stayed in the Bluebird room with 2 comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, a huge bathroom, and gorgeous windows. Breakfast was delicious, filling, and interesting. Snacks, drinks, filtered water, and ice were readily available. We enjoyed the back deck and garden too, it's a quiet oasis. The owners are lovely hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nancy and Wallace have kept this 7-yr old B&B house so well that we felt being in a rich uncle’s home. Very quiet neighborhood. Superb breakfast. Excellent service with great local advices. They mailed an item we left in the room back to us immediately upon finding it!

Quiet and restful while being close to plenty of dining options and convenient to I75. Wallace is a very welcoming host and the property is immaculate and well appointed. Breakfast is excellent, but please improve the coffee.

Wallace and Nancy are experienced hosts and live a short distance behind their 7 room B&B. Everything you might need is either in your room or downstairs. They provide a very nice breakfast each morning and their location is convenient to Hamilton Place Mall and downtown Chattanooga. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay. Wallace and Nancy are very gracious hosts and pay attention to details. Breakfast were super good and included dessert! If it was warmer we would have liked to enjoy the outside property and hot tub. Our only issue, and this may be preference, is the mattress was to soft for us to sleep solidly throughout the night. If we get the chance to return we will!

Would recommend this stay to anybody. We were travelling as one couple and had a wonderful stay, and we are already looking forward to planning a group trip here. Such a beautiful mix of clean/modern and cozy/homey. Every part of the cottage, from room design to amenities offered to breakfast served, is intentional and well thought out. Spent 2 days in Chattanooga with my husband for a Fall trip. It was our first time staying at St Francis Cottage. It is the perfect place to unwind, take in the beautiful view of the backyard, listen to the singing birds and sit by the cozy fireplace. We had a nice time talking with the other guests and owners in the evening while sipping on wine and eating snacks.

St. Francis Cottage was a wonderful choice for our trip to Chattanooga. It was an exceptional value and I highly recommend this property. Each morning we ate delicious gourmet breakfasts prepared by our charming owner/innkeepers. Our room was beautiful & comfy & our stay was relaxing & enjoyable. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has a large, covered, back porch & deck & hot tub too! The cottage is located about 15 minutes or less from all the attractions we visited in Chattanooga and the main roadways are easily accessed. We would totally stay at this property again.

Very gracious hosts and a beautiful property!

Wallace and Nancy are the sweetest, most hospitable hosts I have experienced. Their home is charming and welcoming with fireplace lit, complimentary wine, and a culinary breakfast that kept us full all day. I even tried the outside hot tub on a chilly night. Just lovely! They really have thought of everything and aim to please their guests. We will return. Thank you.

Wallace and Nancy are amazing people with a true talent of running an amazing bed and breakfast. They literally think of everything! From the electronics in the room, the tea, coffee, and soft drink bar downstairs, beautiful backyard with a hot tub, to an amazing home cooked breakfast, and happy hour in the late afternoon! This place truly takes care of their guests! If you are going to be in town this is the place to stay!

My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary and found that it exceeded our expectations. We travel quite a bit and this is the first place that I have ever stayed in that I feel like I deserve a 10 rating. We look forward to staying there again soon

Everything was perfect!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the St Francis Cottage. We were in Chattanooga for a soccer tournament and our hosts were very accommodating given our schedule. We highly recommend staying here!

This was such a wonderful saty! Amenities were perfect, place was clean and hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. Would recommend as will be staying again!

Perfect place to stay for a getaway !!

I've stayed at B&Bs over the years and generally prefer them to hotels. But St Francis Cottage exceeded my expectations. We arrived at midnight on our check-in "day". As you can imagine after traveling across the country, we were exhausted and ready to go right to bed. Upon entering our room we were greeted with relaxing music, a warmly decorated, inviting room, and a welcome sign. Wallace and Nancy let us know they would keep the "happy hour" wine, beer, and snacks out for us. We surprised ourselves by taking advantage of these goodies and enjoyed the drinks in our room - talking until 3am. It was an incredible and surprising treat after such a long day. Breakfast is served from 8-10am, but Wallace asked specifically when we would like breakfast. At the designated time (9am) we went down to the breakfast room where a carafe of hot coffee (specially blended) awaited us at our table. The 3 course breakfast started with a plate of fruit, followed by an extraordinary Eggs Francis (i.e., Eggs Benedict) and individual potato casserole, ending with French toast with caramel sauce. Oh my! It was all delicious. A table full of items that travelers frequently forget to pack is set out in the hallway for anyone to use. The backyard is inviting with lush landscaping, an abundance of birds, and fireflies at night. We hope to be back in Chattanooga if for no reason other than to stay at St Francis Cottage.

Beautiful location -- both the home and the property are gorgeous! Such a pleasant place to relax and leave your cares behind. The breakfasts are like none other! The innkeepers work hard to make your entire experience wonderful -- I will definitely be back!
