Our stay was great however I apologise for this review being against hotels.com who have given me no choice but to warn others as they have done nothing to resolve my situation. Our hotels.com account was hacked on the 27th April and was reported immediately however hotels.com have no alleged fraud team or security team and did nothing resulting in someone now having control of my account my bookings and the use of my reward nights. Since the compromise of the account I have had two bookings cancelled and a refund of £1085.07 made not to my card that purchased it but to a card I don't recognise which I'm told by hotels.com can't happen. Evidence suggests otherwise which indicates that a person employed by hoteks.com has access to change this information. Due to hotels.com lack of rapid response and continued inability to deal with the matter my other 7 bookings are now locked from me and we face the worry and concern that our hotel has been cancelled on arrival.

Good basic hotel room, bit noisy but good location

Really clean room, blocks away from Times Square. Super convenient to subway and other transportation options. Room was clean and bed was quite comfy. Bathroom was small, but acceptable, and very clean. Front desk staff was genuine and kind and helpful.

Lovely hotel and very central - although still quiet on the upper floors at least (we were floor 20). Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and well appointed gym. Easy walking distance to so many of the amazing New York experiences. A brilliant stay all roind. There were a couple of things that could have been better - the coffee/tea provided was with paper takeaway cups which isn’t very eco friendly, would prefer china cups instead. A couple of times they missed cleaning the rooms throughout the stay.

Great stay, friendly staff. Room was small but comfortable, good size bathroom. We loved to the cookies on arrival. The room had a great little coffee machine easy to use.

Came off the train at penn station and it’s just around the corner. Shopping food and sights right outside the front door

What an amazing location, staff was super friendly, elevators were fast. And the whole facility was clean and bright. We will definitely be back next time we are in NYC!

The room was clean but small. It’s expected in NYC. The staff was nice but seemed overwhelmed with customers. Great location. Definitely get a higher floor if you can if the street noise bothers you.

Stay was great. Staff were excellent and very welcoming!

Great hotel, central, clean and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast on the weekend and could not have had a better stay. We had a very minor issue with the TV which was fixed within minutes. This attention to detail was shown by every member of staff. There are no surprise fees at this hotel.

Very clean, modern hotel with a disappointing reception.

The best thing about this hotel was the service! Every member of staff we met went beyond friendliness and helpfulness. Our room had a view of the Empire State Building which was just wonderful, and it was very comfortable and clean. I like that coffee pods were provided in the room and a warm cookie and water on arrival is just what you need after a long day travelling.
Location wise, it is very busy out and about but that's because you're a stones throw away from Times Square!

Very convenient location. Door staff were always helpful. Room was clean and newly refurbished.

Hotel needs better sound proofing for its location. Sirens and car horns all night long made it impossible to sleep and our room didn’t even face the street!

Great location for everything New York has to offer. Just a few minutes walk to theatres, dining and Madison Square Gardens for sporting events. Clean, comfortable room (small like all NYC hotels); highly recommend.

Your desk staff is amazing!!

A very well run hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The people at the front desk were welcoming and helpful with everything that we asked.
They allowed us a late checkout on the day of departure. Our room was well cleaned, everyday.
The roof top bar is the clincher, due to its friendly staff and great views. Comfortable seats inside and out. The overhead heaters were welcome.
We enjoyed this hotel for what it is. Namely , central Manhattan. There's always going to be a degree of street noise, although, as we were on floor 24, it was negligible.
Certainly our room was on the smaller size, but still adequate for a couple.
Airport taxis were organised on our behalf by the front desk. All done with a smile and no fuss.
Most of the major sights in Manhattan are within easy walking distance. Give it a try,it's a bargain at current hotel prices.

This hotel is perfectly located for Times Square,Empire state, Rockefeller and subway stations to other attractions. The beds and pillows in the room were so comfortable. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Overall good experience. Especially being in the heart of NYC. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but not bad.

Upon check in, told there were no rooms left with 1 bed so had to have 2 beds. Hotel is very tired looking but beds were comfortable. However air vents were extremely noisy and air conditioning too. The room was very small and not sound proofed so heard sirens from main road all night. Room was dusty and dirty in places. When we checked in there was confusion about what had been paid and the outstanding balance - this was also a source of discussion when we checked out. Apart from check in, staff were friendly and we gave feedback but we are not sure what would have been done about it - no notes were taken at the time. Location was good but we wouldn’t stay here again.

We only had 21 hours to spend with our NYer actress/daughter & chose this hotel mainly based on location. Right near Penn Station & her theatre, it was perfect when we didn’t have extra time to travel around once arrived. Excellent spot. Room was tiny but had all we needed and a gorgeous city view from our 26th floor. Restaurant on site for bfast was just fine w/ decent buffet. Before our arrival, I spoke to front desk staff FRAN on the phone and she answered my questions in a most friendly way. Fran then went over the top and arranged to have a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room with a little note welcoming us. A doorman opened doors for us when we were coming and going. It was all perfect and I’ll chose it again.

The room was spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

The room has a good bathroom/shower - mostly clean , though I found some crumbs on the night stand. There was a king bed, ( it was wide but short) , but the room was so small you couldn't walk around it. You couldn't pull the chair all the way out from the tiny desk, because it hit the bed. I stayed on the 20th floor and looked out onto a brick wall. If you are into minimalism, this is the place for you. Also - there was no place to pull up inform of the hotel even to unload your luggage. The room said parking available, but I was referred to a public lot around the corner - no connection to the hotel and no discount. That being said - the elevators were super speedy and the staff was very nice- and it has a fabulous rooftop bar ( though it was closed by 11pm on 'a Saturday night).
Next time I would take the train - it is two blocks from Penn station and Madson square garden. If all you are doing is sleeping there ( which is what I was doing) it was just fine especially since I was alone - two people would not have worked.

I just view a hotel on NYC as a place to sleep and want everything to be frictionless. Friendly service, clean room, good bed, and almost no time spent on check in or check out

The room was great clean and very welcoming. Only issue was it got warm and we couldn’t turn the air lower than 70. But over all I will definitely come back.
