Clean and comfortable. Cabins adjacent to an RV park. Seven miles from South Gate to Crater Lake (then 20 miles to lake). Small store for snacks sad supplies. Laundry available for $10. Chairs and swings and small playground.
What I wish I had known:
The closest gas station/food is at least 12 miles away.
In late May most of the Rim Road and the North Gate are still closed; South Gate is only access to the lake.
Check the distance from hotel choice to park entrance and call to find out about closures.
Not much else to do in the area other than the lake. We planned a two day stay but could have stayed only one night.
Do yourself a favor and drive up to the lake to watch the sunset.
Find a safe, dark place to look at the stars.

We really enjoyed the place. Very comfortable clean and nice amenities with bbq grill and outdoor seating.

Nice location, pretty property and the room was cuter than the pics. However, I was surprised that the property is still 30 minutes from Crater Lake. A big negative is that they list Wi-Fi as an amenity but it didn’t work at all on my 2nd day. Unfortunately, no one is in the office after 5pm, so no one could help me and there was also no cell phone coverage, so if you have a problem or an emergency, you have no way of reaching anyone. When I mentioned the lack of Wi-Fi to the woman when I checked out, she was disinterested and annoyed and said that the Wi-Fi often didn’t work due to the remote location (it’s not that remote as a town is less than 10 minutes away and I’ve stayed at much remoter locations that had good working Wi-Fi). If the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, then they shouldn’t list it as an amenity and clients will plan accordingly and bring books and games. A second negative was the TV, which I couldn’t get to work either. They left several sheets of instructions for the TV and the satellite dish (obviously a common problem) but I couldn’t get them to work and the office had already closed at 5pm, so I was left with no TV, no Wi-Fi and no cell phone coverage. I travel very frequently and have stayed at well over 200 properties but have never had trouble turning on the TV.

Enjoyed the one night stay and room was close to crater lake NP. Room comes with full kitchen and the Indian themed interior design was also unique.

The only issue was the heater is too noisy. The view of the site is great!

Crater Lake Resort was such a gem! The property was overall clean & we loved our cute little cabin. We really enjoyed the amenities provided at the resort including a canoe, a small walking trail, corn hole, horseshoes, plus grills & fire pits. We had such a relaxing stay here & enjoyed the close proximity to Crater Lake.

We needed more blankets.
There were mosquitoes in the cabin

It’s a fun and cute little clamping resort. About 30 minutes drive from Crater Lake.

All was great except the glamping tent had crunchy pillows and I don’t do well on air mattresses. The yurt was perfect. Gorgeous sunrise.

Super clean property, gorgeous creek that runs through the middle, lovely accommodations.
Some things to consider- our cabin had low ceilings, and the beds were not the best- felt like a trampoline every time my husband moved. Besides that, the cabin was super clean, had great amenities, the property was very quiet, and it felt very safe. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in quaint little cabins that were just perfect, and incredibly clean. The deck overlooked a little stream (that we canoed in with the free canoe), and the office/store was nicely stocked with snacks, food, and refreshments. The staff was very friendly. It is a beautiful, uncomplicated place that was very enjoyable. We will be back!

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Clean

This is a well managed and maintained property with a great setting. I stayed in a cabin which was clean and well stocked and with new towels. Staff here is efficient and friendly and the store has most anything you may have forgotten to bring. I hope to stay here again in the future.

There was no wifi and no coking grille

The tv didn’t work nor could the person working there able to make it work. The price they charged was too much for what they can really offer other than a place to shower and sleep

There are very few lodging options near Crater Lake. I didn't realize the cabin here did not have A/C. I never got the TV to work properly. I was pleasantly surprised with good water pressure, and the store had plenty of supplies. There are plenty of activities to do at the property.

For crater lake park, it’s convenient.

We had a great stay in one of the cabins. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. My friend and I traveled together and we felt like it was a safe place. It was a little drive to Crater Lake but that's understandable.

This is a camp site not a Resort with a dozen cabins and a few tents, and a lots of RV parking there! In the email you sent it was written as "You booked 1 room". In realty it is a tent.

The beds are tired

My favorite part of this place is the creek and short trail I didn’t know about!! Very kind staff in the office/store. I was able to upgrade into a ‘cozy cabin’ no problem. Lovely place!

Beautiful location and perfect as in the nature.

Not close to Crater Lake. Quiet property. Not good to out of state visitors who did not bring RV or cooking utensils. Better for families who planned to spent days there. Luxury glamping, with small but clean 2 public bathroom and 1 showers.

Cute little cabin, rv, and camp site. Service was friendly and nice. Only downside is that there are no restaurants or gas stations near by. Otherwise very nice place

Tesla destination charger! Cute cabins, beautiful property, informative staff! Check out the blue lagoon at Jackson Kimbell State Park! Highly recommend paddleboarding or kayaking! It’s about an hour drive from Crater Lake but it’s a beautiful drive and goes quickly.

The Tesla charger was a huge help considering there aren't many chargers in the area. The property was great and the location was perfect, but I would stay there again for that reason alone.

Property was nice, place was clean, the staff was friendly. Just a couple minor things, no hairdryers in rooms, our picnic table was damaged, no place to sit outside of cabin, outside chairs, lots of mosquitoes, which they can’t help. Just warn other folks or provide bug spray in room if you know they are that bad

Mosquito galore... Wish had warning about mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are every where even in the bathroom. Got so many bites.

It was lovely!!

No hair dryer, no AC, far away to look for restaurants.

Great atmosphere, properties, and room.

This was a lovely property with walking trail, fire pit, convenience store on site, playground area, and pickle ball. They have options for tent camping, RV camping, glamping, and staying in a cabin. We stayed in the two bed cabin and it was perfect for our family. We even saw bald eagles three different times during our stay, and it’s very close to the south entrance to Crater Lake National Park.

Nice and clean place to stay

There isn’t much in the way of hotels and cabins in this remote area around the south end of Crater Lake unless you travel much further south to K Falls. This little resort has nice little cabins and a well stocked little store. The grounds are well kept and it is a really great place for families and anyone who wants a quiet little wilderness setting. The only thing that needs changing in our cabin is the mattresses seem old and are waaaay too soft.

Beautiful water views!

Cellular connections are bad. Cannot make a phone call.
Door code design is not easy to navigate.

Nice place. Easy check-in. Friendly. Our room was clean, but small. The heater was baffling to use. The TV did not work. That said, we'd stay there again.

This would be a good place in the summer. Surrounding was beautiful.
The staff should have told us before we went to Crater Lake that it is basically closed.
Staff left by 5 pm and no one could help with the internet issues. Not only was it slow, it only allowed two devices. Even after we signed off from the two devices it would not allow registration of new devices.

Beautiful overall !!!

One night carbon dioxide alarm was activated, and no electricity at the whole resort. Took us almost half hour to turn off the alarm. No one helped us.
