Fun place, great atmosphere, clean rooms, great community kitchen and great amenities.

New property. Very well maintained. Rooms are very small but lots of common area. Internet worked great.
My only complaint is that there is limited parking on site and the overflow parking is quite a walk. They say it is only a couple blocks but I felt like it was a half mile away. Not fun in the dark on a very cold night. Because many visitors are coming as singles or couples and staying in the dorm rooms, the amount of cars far exceeds the available surface parking.
If you get to park at the property, do not take your car anywhere or you will be parking offsite.

Quiet, Clean Safe, Excellent Customer Service

First off we had to walk multiple blocks from their extra parking lot because they don’t have much room but they’re bustling at all. Second the room was small which I knew online, but just be warned, in the room we stayed in our sink was a small child sized sink and the bathroom in genderal was lower quality than you would find in a camper.
There was a blizzard that was coming in the weekend we had paid to stay and we found out about it Friday night coming in once we had already driven over 6 hours to get to Denver. Then we still had to drive an hour and half to the hotel. We called them to see if there was any way we could cancel with a 24 hour notice for the 2nd and 3rd night and they said absolutely not. They only do 72 hour notice. Which I never saw on the online booking. Overal absolutely refused to work with me in any way. Pretty awful stay. Will never be staying here again. Not a good value for the money at all. Go elsewhere.

Loved the vibe of the place overall. The main hangout and bar area is great. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was great.
I stayed in a dorm bed for my stay. My main criticisms of the place are:
- There is very limited parking on site and their overflow parking is nearly a half mile away.
- There are no curtains for the dorm beds. It's an easy addition to add a sense of privacy.
- The hallway and bathroom lights were on full blast, even in the middle of the night. If you have to use the bathroom it's a struggle to fall back asleep.
- The tray for holding your phone and stuff in the dorm bed is made out of thin metal. Setting down anything without care makes a loud clang (disturbing others sleep).

We had such a great experience at the Pad. We absolutely loved it. The staff was amazing. Dwayne at the bar was awesome. We loved all the different spaces to hang out and the yoga was a bonus. Loved it all. And we are back next month.

Great spot! Really close to everything and the staff are phenomenal. The private rooms were quiet, and showers were awesome after a day of snowboarding. Hot tub worked well. Only complaint is I wish there was more parking available closer to the spot. The extra parking is like a 10 minute walk which sucks if it's real cold out.

Immaculate hip hotel. The micro room is tiny but comfortable enough. Price is right. Super friendly, helpful staff. Fun Bar.

We only stopped in to stay the night because we didn't want to drive anymore but the place was very nice. First time in a hostel. Great common room and dining/bar area. Couldn't use the hot tub because we weren't prepared for that but it looked nice..

It is suitable for solo travelers. Very comfortable!

I've stayed at one other Hostel before and this one is 10xs better. The lockers are big, there's plenty of showers, sinks, and restrooms in the community bathrooms, and love that there's a kitchen. The staff were all very pleasant. The location is awesome. However, one thing I would recommend is to add curtains to the beds. Gives us more privacy while sleeping.

Nowhere at the reservation appears that is a room without restroom or shower. It is crazy that there is no warning. A hotel room always have a private bath and restroom. Is a room without windows. Completely unacceptable. This reservation was done through EXPEDIA and nothing was explained. At the front desk they are very gentle is not their fault how EXPEDIA manages their publicity. I expecting an answer from EXPEDIA.

Alittle noisy at nite

Great place. Only recommendation would be to provide curtains for the bunks to provide a little more privacy and hand out ear plugs for those in the bunks.

My stay at The Pad in Silverthorne was far better than expected. The facility is well-maintained, cleaned, and conveniently located. I also had the opportunity to talk with the front-desk attendant (Josh) for about an hour. I highly recommend staying at The Pad in Silverthorne if you find yourself needing lodging in this area of Colorado.

I loved the location and the vibe. Easy and cozy. You can have privacy or if you want to socialize the A-bar is a comfortable place to hang out. There is a creek and a walking path that take you to a cafe, restaurant and other shops. Or you can prepare your own meals in their community kitchen. The micro-rooms are great if you're traveling with a dog, but they do not have windows. Regardless, they are comfortable for a single traveler.

Good location and new. Likes the community spaces and hot tub. It says the room was small and it was really small. We had private bathroom. The sink was so cute and tiny. No where in bathroom to set anything. And I didn’t like the advertisements hanging in our room. Bed was comfy enough. Price was reasonable. Bar drinks were good. Would possibly stay there again.

So cute, so clean, everything you need for a comfortable night's stay

Super cool that they are pet friendly. I just don’t agree with added pet fees. Pet deposit is fine but my fee just goes to help clean up after those pets who’s owners are not conscientious. My pet honestly is more well behaved and less destructive than a lot of people.

first time staying in a hostel and im glad it was at the PAD it was very clean and the staff was great especially Sonia the overnight front desk gal the only downside there was the rooms are small

Over all it was a really cool place. Parking is limited so get there early. The ac in the room didn't work and the bathroom has plumbing issues. Smells like mold and the water leak in the celling was dripping into the bathroom. Staff was nice. I stayed for 3 nights and nobody came to fix the AC. There is a bus stop out front so that is nice if you want to use public transportation.

Everything was excellent. One think we thought you can improve are the pillows. The are as hard as a rock.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at THE PAD

After having several functions at this hotel with the Summit Historical Society - I booked a stay. I was impressed with the place, the concept and the staff. The rooms aren't large, nor are they luxurious, but they are fabulous in may other ways. The beds are comfortable, the minimal furniture in the room all have multi purposes. The bathroom in the Jr Suite is adequate. I loved the idea of a large commercial kitchen that guests can prepare meals and store their food. You mark your container (provided by the hotel) with your name and checkout date. The refrigerators are huge. You do your own dishes and everyone cooperates. Their rooftop deck has great views and their patio is right on the pathway along the Blue River.

The Pad is a year or so old hostel and hotel in one. I like the innovative format. I stayed in both a windowless micro room with shared bath, and a compact room with bath on the next night (I’ll review that separately).
The micro room was perfectly comfortable with a few rough edges. First off, claustrophobic people should not rent these rooms. I don’t have that issue, so it would have been fine except that the AC was not cooling (luckily it was ventilating), and the temperature crept up slightly to around 73-74. However, I slept like a rock because there were no light cues. The shared bathroom was clean and perfectly serviceable.
The Pad has a good number of amenities to enjoy, including especially the bar and the 3d level hot tub.
I booked a second night in a different room, so I voted with my feet as it were—I liked the property but didn’t love the “value proposition” (lol) of the micro room setup. It came to $100 in mid-June. I think a couple traveling together would see it differently.
All in all, The Pad was a 4.5 star experience, rounded down for this review to 4.0 because of the AC issue.

I liked that it was clean (for the most part), affordable, and the staff were very friendly and informative. The only thing I didn't like was that the space outside the shower stalls smelled like mildew/mold. Those rugs need ripped out and there should be a drainage system in the floor. Other than that, the bathrooms and my single bedroom were clean and tidy.

I was nervous staying at a hostel because I’ve never been to one before, but this experience was perfect. We had our own room, which was small, but was perfect for what we needed. The facilities were amazing and superseded my expectations. Way fancier than I would’ve imagined

It was a nice room with friendly workers. The only thing was that my room's AC/HVAC unit was extremely noisy.
