We had a wonderful time in this incredibly family-friendly home in Bellport. Everything was exactly as advertised and Luke and Ellen really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The house was perfect for our 4-year old twins. A short scooter ride or drive into the town center (adults can easily walk), was great for ice cream and a few dinners out. The pool was perfect for non-beach days or late afternoon swims as we grilled outside. The owners also made sure that the property was registered with the town so we had the option of getting a temporary resident pass. We opted to do this and are so glad that we did - we were able to take the Ho Hum ferry on weekends and holidays, go to Mother's Beach, and also get a library card for the Brookhaven library (so cute for kids!) which was a godsend on rainy days.

This lovely house in Bellport was a perfect place for our family of four to stay. It's in a great position on Long Island to get to most things as well as just relaxing locally in the town or getting the ferry over to Ho-Hum Beach. We enjoyed the three spacious bedrooms and the ample living and dining space downstairs. The 'cinema' room behind the garage was a bonus on evenings we decided to stay local, get ice cream from Carla Marlas and watch a movie . The pool was fun, well maintained and a great alternative to the beach when we wanted to stay around and relax in the garden. Easy to get to the Hamptons from here and Montauk plus the vineyards on the North Fork for a change of scene. An easy journey to Patchogue if you fancy a train ride into New York, which we did four times. Always nice to come back to Bellport after. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. Many Thanks Luke The Cooper-Spriggs Family

Lovely location and beautiful pool. Luke left excellent recommendations so we could enjoy Bellport life to the full. Ho Hum beach was beautiful , we enjoyed kayaking and the bikes. A great place to chill out after a visit to NYC.

I rented this house for my family, visiting from different areas of the country. Turned out to be a great choice for our family. Close to MacArthur airport, the bay and ocean beaches and had a fenced in yard for our dog and the kiddos. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all the basics & essentials we needed. Although it rained a lot, we spent most of our time in the cute & quiet backyard playing corn hole and grilling. Luke and Ellen were very gracious hosts and were highly attentive to our needs and questions. They recommended an awesome, funky restaurant (weekend music venue) called Painters, that was just 5 mins down the road. The town of Bellport was really small, but we were mostly there to visit with family. Our only disappointment was the weather. We had been looking forward to visiting the beaches and outdoor activities more. Luck of the draw I suppose. We will be back

We spent a lovely week at Luke's holiday home in Bellport, Long Island after a busy 10 days sight seeing in New York and Washington DC. It was a perfect place to wind down and relax. The house was beautifully decorated with everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. There was even a table tennis table and the newly installed pool were great additions and kept the kids entertained for hours. Luke was an extremely helpful host and answered any questions we had straight away. The bikes for our use were also a great addition and made popping into the village centre very easy though it isn't far to walk either. Bellport itself is a very pretty village with a few lovely cafes/restaurants and the people were very friendly. We took the ferry from the neighbouring town, Patchogue, for some beach time on Fire Island which was a great experience. The Hamptons are within comfortable distance for a day trip as is the Tanger Outlet at Riverhead for some shopping. A day trip back into Manhattan is also doable by using the more frequent train service from Patchogue, though all more easily reached if you have a car. Overall a great place to stay and a very relaxed ending to our holiday. Would definitey recommend.
