Located in Newport, this attractive resort for $181 per night is a great option for your next break. Wyndham Long Wharf — close to the waterfront and central to all the fun — enhances your Newport vacation with a wide variety of resort amenities and activities. This warm, friendly resort combines the perfect location with great amenities and is just a few minutes' drive from the area's top attractions. Experience the city's reputation as "sailing capital of the world" for yourself — take a leisurely sailing tour of Newport Harbor and maybe even a lesson. Thames Street offers great shopping with a split personality: national brands in Upper Thames; more eclectic shops in Lower Thames. Any time you visit the "City by the Sea," there's bound to be a music festival (from folk and pop to jazz and chamber music) or themed celebration — starting with the Newport Winter Festival, Spring Boat Show, Great Chowder Cook-Off, Black Ships Festival and more, closing with Oktoberfest and the Annual Christmas in Newport, when the mansions are decorated for the holidays. The resort assigns the specific unit around the time of check-in so your view may vary. Let us know if you have a preference to be near a specific location throughout the resort or if you would like a specific view. We will gladly notate your preference and send this over to the resort as your stay gets closer. Please notate that requests are not guaranteed. Things to Know: A credit card is needed for the $250 security hold due at check-in. Some two-bedroom and three-bedroom units have multi-level floor plans with stairs. Washer/Dryer In Unit - Some 2 BRD: 90% have 2 twin beds in 2nd room, a few have a full size bed (not usually available) The accommodation provides free WiFi access for up to four devices. Any additional devices requiring connectivity must be purchased separately at a rate of $9.99 per device per day. This service is facilitated by a third-party company, and we do not have any association with them. Contruction Notice: As of Friday March 8th the resort will be ungoing some maintenance. This will severely impact the pool, hot tubs and sauna. The projected time of completion fot this is estimated to be Sunday June 30th. The dates and times are subject to change however. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may impose for travelers. With any changes that come along we will be sure to be as thorough and keep everyone updated as possible.

We stayed here for the price and proximity to most of the Newport activities. The place fit our needs with two separate bedrooms and a living space in-between. Linens and state of the rooms were as expected. The pool area in the evening was crowded with no supervision. Overall, we were pleased with where we stayed for the value it offered and would consider staying again!

Lovely place right across from Marina and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Nice comfy beds. This stay was part of a multi city trip. Only problem is the listed shows there is a washer and dryer; however, not all condos have them which I found out after getting a message directly from Wyndham. If it’s important for you to have a washer & dryer, you could probably address that a booking.

There is so much to do in Newport and you can’t beat the location! We were able to walk to most places from our place which was a huge plus! Will definitely come back again.

Everything we need for a vacation, great location. Check in check out is very smooth. The only thing is there is limitation of 4 free internet user, but overall everything is great.

We loved the amenities of the hotel, with the size of a condo, and walking distance to so many things! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the beds were definitely the most comfortable I’ve slept in in a long time!

The first night of our stay we noticed during the night bed bugs in one of the rooms in our suite. When we contacted the front desk we had our room changed within the hour. Wyndham Resorts staff and management was very accommodating so we did not feel we needed to reach out to the owner

We were very satisfied with this unit, however it needs some pillows on the sofa and maybe some greenery to make it feel more cozy. Sofa is not very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Maybe a couple things like placemats and centerpiece on the dining table would be nice. Location was perfect and we enjoyed the firepit, live music at the pool and free morning coffee. We would come back!

This was a perfect place to stay in Newport and the host was great. The only frustration was the front desk at the resort. They put us in an occupied room and gave us a key to another room, but did not put my name on it. It eventually was sorted. But, a little frustrating. Also, I had to make multiple phone calls and waited couple hours for bedding for the pull out sofa. I would still highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at the Newport Wyndam. The room was clean and it is a great location to get to the shops and restaurants. Not being a Wyndam owner makes it a little challenging to get any requests accommodated. We had issues with the A/C which I don't think was actually corrected. Fortunately we were able to open windows for fresh air. We were also place in a room with an accessible shower and requested to be moved. Because we weren't owners, the front desk declined our request. The shower was small and very difficult to use. We were not given any information about the amenities - such as a free shuttle around town. This could have saved us $$ in parking fees.

Everything was great. Only 1 complaint. There were welcome bags that were supplied by the wedding we were attending. But we never got them. The hotel was given a list of everyone’s names that were to receive the bags but we still didn’t receive them. The mother of the bride who arranged all this came to the front desk but they were not any help,

The only thing missing from this hotel is an on-site restaurant. Everything was clean, up to date, and the beds were comfy. Parking was s struggle but it was Labor Day weekend.
