Great hotel for business trips

Was visiting family, this hotel was cllose to shopping, restaurants and our overall destination. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Clean, servive was good, parking easy.

1ST night, room had toliet that would not flush, sewer gas odor, broken coffee maker, broken refridgerator and HVAC would only blow COLD air.
Free Breakfast was horrible. Everyday meats were undercooked, chicken sausage was green. Just cheap sugar and carbs for kids.
Tried to find another hotel but they would not credit the rest of my stay. Finally got a manager to get me a different room

Nice hotel, good location, lots of construction in the area currently. Our room had a dumpster located below our window which was emptied very loudly around 5am each morning. Good variety of breakfast foods. Pool was nice. Parking is available for a daily fee but very tight fit.

Pros:
Staff were really great. We interacted with front desk, housekeeping, etc and they were all kind and friendly.
Highlight: our car battery was dead at one point and the maintenance(?) guy saved the day by jumping it with his own vehicle.
Room was clean.
Pool was functional, comfortable temp, and clean.
Cons:
Bathroom door was so squeaky that it disturbed sleepers at night. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Not a big deal until everyone's toothpaste spit etc was floating in it.
Shower water temp control knob didn't work very well/was loose. It had to be set at "a little chilly" or it would slip down to "boiling my skin off" hot.
Pool on day two was COLD.

I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. When we arrived they informed us the pool was out of service. I would not have booked here if i had been informed ahead of time. We stayed one night and checked out. The manager assured me he would contact you and have my money refunded for the second night.

Checkin was great & property is lovely. The pillows were garbage, it was very loud (we could hear everything in the hall, above, beside) & there were not enough towels in the room.

This was an amazing hotel and I highly recommend it! The only thing that could make it better is a hot tub. I would definitely stay here again. Very clean and modern, friendly staff with everything you need (but the hot tub). Walking distance to everything on the Plaza. Big thumbs up!

This is a great location on the plaza with a full breakfast in the morning and underground parking. Close to shopping and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with a smile.

Amazing property and staff. Everyone was so friendly. Special shout out to Bryson, Craig and the front desk (Tracy, i believe. The gentleman that checked us in, working the evening of the 26th and 27th). Every part of the property was sparkling clean. Great pool area. Room was so quiet and clean. We didnt hear anything and we were right by the ice and elevator. Wonderful experience.

The room as always was great! Breakfast unfortunately was the worst I have ever had at any Hampton Inn & Suites ever which really surprised me. Parking was nice but the stalls are extremely narrow. We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee that isn’t really a big vehicle and it was a struggle. Not sure what you can do about the parking but you can do something about the breakfast!! Overall it was a great stay!! We will be back since our son lives close to the plaza, hopefully breakfast will be better then!!

Normally a very good hotel. Started with a mix up on my room. I was originally put in 608 and it was actually supposed to be 806. It was resolved quickly. The room was clean but the toilet didn't work properly.

Room was very clean, nicely decorated, and so comfortable. We needed add'l towels and they responded withing a couple minutes.

The entire building was very clean and the price was good. The Country Club Plaza is just a block away. The gentleman that checked us in was so kind & helpful. My teacher daughter was grading papers at a table in the lobby and he brought her a bottled water. Thank you Hampton employees for all ur hard work.

We were in KC for only a couple of days, but everyone made us feel at home. The staff were kind, helpful, professional, and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. We could have wished the breakfast was better, but it got our days going well enough. We would definitely stay here again!

The front desk staff at as great and when my daughter threw up in our room (right before bed), they immediately brought us some disinfectant and new towels. I really appreciated their support and friendliness
