This was a renovated motel. It was very clean and the breakfast had more than enough choices. The beds were comfortable. One thing I didn't note when making my reservation was that there are steps for the 2nd floor rooms. My Mother can't do steps so I had to pay more after I got there to get a studio on the first floor.

The bed was really comfortable. I appreciated the refrigerator and freezer. I had freezer packs that fit so I could keep food fresh for my long journey. The shower was hot initially and didn’t stay hot long enough. The view of the hills were a sweet surprise bonus. My room had a connecting door to the next room. It was locked but seemed flimsy. So I pushed the nightstand and chair against it because it felt sketchy. I’m not sure if anyone one was in that room. The woman who checked me in was friendly.

Room was nice size. Bed was decent. Pillows not so much. Bathroom sink and mirror were updated. For some reason they put a door stopper in the middle of the bathroom floor which if you are not careful you step on it, especially getting out of the shower. Could hear a lot of noise from outside and inside. Decent hot breakfast.

There was no place to hang anything. The lobby was not connected to the rooms, so you had to walk outside for breakfast etc. I don’t mind walking but it was a cold and rainy day. The only saving grace was that while everything was a little run down, it was relatively clean and reasonably priced.

My buddy and I were just coming into the area for the weekend to ride bikes. You can tell that they have tried to clean the place up. fresh paint, comfortable beds. but out room stunk like someone had urinated on the carpet. The air handler was blowing stinky air as well. if we would have been staying a second night I would have switched rooms, but not sure that would have made a difference as one of the other guests that i was talking to had a similar experience. They need to rip out the carpets and sanitize EVERYTHING!.

The whole place smells like a bottle of Febreeze. The room not as strong as the common areas. It’s very old and looks as if they threw a coat of paint on it to make it presentable. The heater until sounded like it was going to take off it was so loud. Overall not the worst place we’ve stayed but I would try one of the many other options next time.

So, the young lady checking us in was awesome. So, friendly, and juggling several customers at the same time. I needed a ground floor room (old dog, and I have a bad knee) and she obliged immediately. The room was spotless. PERFECT coming from a "snow bird" month in February. Wytheville is exactly halfway for us. If you need something more, then get it. But for us it was perfect. Thanks Travelodge!

Everything was great for the price level of this facility. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and the bathroom was in excellent condition with the exception of a soap dispenser being empty. The staff responded quickly to concerns.

The hotel was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The desk person was courteous and check in couldn't be smoother.

I was a little worried at first, considering the rate was so low and I saw the entrances to the rooms on the outside. I was happy to find, tho, that those outside entrances were sliding doors that could only be accessed from inside the room. You have to go down a locked hallway to get to your room, which made me feel safer.
Room was very comfortable and larger than expected. Bed was great!

This is a great place to stay with easy access! I’m still trying to figure out how , after checking out why I got an additional $50 charge on my card several days after checking out and already have a receipt statement with a 0.00 balance. Had the room for like 8 hours. Slept showered and back on the road .

Very good value for the price point. Room was mostly remodeled with parts still needing to be updated, such as the climate control system and the chair in the room. Don't expect too much for breakfast.

Housekeeping came knocking at 8:30 am. Hotel did not provide a Do Not Disturb. I did have the deadbolt engaged. I was on a l9ng trip and wanted to sleep, but was unable.
