Our modern, newly-constructed tiny house is certified Earth-Advantage and super comfortable for short-term visits. We are steps away from our local, organic grocery store, New Seasons, and a ton of restaurants and bars. Tucked behind our house, through the gate beyond the paved driveway, you'll find your PDX home away from home. Use the super-easy electronic lock to access the space anytime of day or night. Open the door into an entry-way with a creative pegboard organizer and a bench to help with easy shoe on and offs. Move from the entry into the fully equipped kitchen with an electric 4 burner stovetop/oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, water kettle, french press and Keurig machine and even a dishwasher to make cleanup a breeze. In the same space, you'll find the charming dining or work table which borders the cozy seating area complete with TV equipped with Netflix and Hulu. The TV is on a rotating base so you can enjoy it from the comfort of the bed, too! The cozy queen-sized bed ensures a great night's rest and the newly finished bathroom has a large shower stall with brand new tile and nice bright lighting at the vanity to prepare for your day. The independent HVAC unit is controlled by a remote and will keep the space at a comfortable temperature year-round. The covered patio is a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring the city. We provide fresh bed and bath linens for every guest, bath toiletries and many other amenities like tea, coffee and creamer - everything you need for a perfect Portland getaway! Guests will be able to access the stand-alone studio cottage we created especially for travelers like us. Located in the backyard of our SE Hawthorne lot, this Earth-Advantage certified property will make you feel right at home in the city. We are located in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Portland just north of the very popular Hawthorne Blvd. Perfect for exploration of the city, we're 10 minutes from most everything in Portland with bars, restaurants, vintage shops, and even a New Season's market and Powell's right around the corner. We are in the perfect Portland location. Hawthorne is 2 minutes away and you can walk to Division or Belmont in 10 minutes. Located right on the 14 and 75 bus lines, public transit is a breeze and with unrestricted street parking and an off-street driveway available, you can't go wrong with a car either. Please also be mindful of the neighbors outside of these times. 4 - Please turn off lights and lock all doors and windows when not at home. 5 - If using street parking, please consider the neighbors and park near the home, if possible. 6 - The number of guests on your reservation should reflect the number of guests staying in the home. Message us if this needs to be updated. 7 - Please do not have any mail or packages delivered to the home. Should you choose to have a package delivered anyway, Descansa Property Management is not responsible for lost or misplaced packages. We will not be available to help locate in the event of either. 8 - Spring through Fall is sugar ant season throughout the Pacific Northwest. Please store items accordingly and clean thoroughly after cooking and eating. Dispose of food waste promptly. 9 - Items left behind can be shipped to you at the cost of shipping + a $30 processing fee. 10 - Excess cleaning may result in an additional cleaning fee. 11 - Violation of house rules may result in eviction and/or monetary fine. ⋆Checkout List ⋆ ☐ Check out by 11am.
