It was very enjoyable in every aspect, the staff were kind and efficient, the little cabins are very clean, homey and inviting. The fireplace was an unexpected enjoyable addition and the hot tub just added the perfect touch for a wonderful anniversary getaway! Also the breakfast area in the main lodge is a nice space with good choices . I enjoyed the cauliflower cheese quiche as one of them. We Will definitely return.

Very surprised (in a good way) to see our room. Was listed as having no windows. Turned out to be a very spacious two-room basement suite with an abundance of lighting, fluffy clouds in a bright blue sky painted on the ceiling with cheerful artwork simulating windows. Sparkling clean. Warm and cozy. Comfortable bed. Very peaceful and quiet. Delicious breakfast buffet in the morning.

Chewuch is a great spot to stay if you want to be walking distance to town, but also have some peace & quiet. The king cabin was fantastic for us and we’d stay there again anytime of the year!

The breakfast is indeed very delicious. A small bench with hot water and microwave can be used after the front desk is closed. I hope that I can visit again in summer time.

Property was rundown and not clean. There were spiders in our room and questionably clean sheets. The room was very loud. The breakfast was lacking and so smokey from the waffle maker. No coffee and no juice or butter. Very disappointed. Will not stay again. Will not recommend.

Great place for a quiet getaway. My only suggestion is that they add a handhold for climbing in and out of the big curved tub-shower. That was it. Everything else was excellent. We will be back!

We enjoyed this historic property. Fresh cookies in the afternoon and breakfast options in the morning are much appreciated. Great area to explore on foot, bike or skis.

Our room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was delicious. Our only disappointment was the tv and internet service. Only streaming services on the tv and many times buffering during a show. We were hoping to watch some college football but those channels were not available.

I was disappointed that we were not in cabins like the images on the website. I did not like being in a basement room, but at least we had the two queen beds and a twin bed. Wish we’d had a window, as well as something for white noise at night. Two people were talking behind the emergency door in our room in the morning (while we were trying to sleep.) Must have been a downstairs storage area for kitchen or housekeeping; sounded like they were in our room. Close to town was a plus. Breakfast was pretty good; a little different than typical hotel chains. Liked the quiche both days. Liked the decor in the breakfast area. Wish they had better game options in sitting room… limited. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. Not sure if I’d go back. Maybe.

We stayed a night in cabin 14 during our leisure 4 day drive around the cascade loop. We would definetely stay here again! The staff is friendly and accomodating and our cabin was so adorable. It included a deck facing the trees with chairs and a small table as well as a charcoal grill. I was hoping to see the deer in the back of our cabin, but they were munching on the brush in front of our cabin instead. lol. After reading reviews of how awesome the breakfast was, I was expecting a bit more. It was just okay. Maybe the menu deferent each day? There wasn't much of a selection, but the breakfast quiche was okay. It would have been nice to have some bacon or sausage. It's a great location with a short walking distace or drive into the Western town of Winthrop. Sadly, most of the shops were closed by 4pm, but a few eateries and Old Schoolhouse Brewery stayed open until 8pm. Overall our stay was perfect!

Location was just a short walk to town. Saw deer along the way. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to bring a book and just relax. I found a nice place to stay in Winthrop. Will stay here again

We stayed in the King Cabin. It was adorable, kitchen had everything we needed. Extremely clean. Loved to sit outside and listen to the birds (including wild turkeys), deer etc.

The staff was very friendly. Know that they leave in the evening but leave emergency contact information. Located right outside the main Winthrop strip. Our room and a huge water stain in the main room and small stains in the bathroom. A loud sound could be hear in the bathroom all night long, but it did not travel to the bedroom. Which was good because the air conditioner was VERY loud. I’d stay here again if needed, but would look somewhere else firsf
