Splashed with natural light, the interior of Scenic View Lodge's main house combines charming rustic elements with modern conveniences. The chef of your group will have no issues utilizing the full kitchen's stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. When it comes to dining, the expansive formal dining table and in-kitchen table are well-suited to host family-style meals. After your meals, gather in the family room for movie viewings, board game competitions, and tasty cocktails - prepared at the stand-alone bar. The bedrooms are equally comfortable and offer easy access to the bathrooms. The cozy interior of the Hickory Suite features high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and a well-equipped kitchen. We rented the Lodge for a weekend to have a fun staycation. This place surpassed all our expectations. The main dining area has a wall of windows with an incredible view of Lake Monroe. We had family over and we were all able to comfortably sit for dinner. The kids loved the massive bedrooms & the hot tub! There was plenty of room for dance parties, building forts and crafts! The den provided a cozy ambience with the electric fireplace. We cozied up with a bottle of wine to watch our favorite show! If you’re looking for a nice getaway, the lodge is definitely your place to stay! We will stay again!

Celebrated our family Christmas with our 5 grown children and their families. The home fit us perfectly. Each family had their own large room with it's own bathroom, which is important with a large number of young grandchildren. It's difficult to tell in the listing, but we had our own separate apartment suite that was attached to the main house. It was a welcome sanctuary after a long day of togetherness. Plenty of beds and rooms to gather. The host was amazing! Extremely helpful accommodating to our requests. The view from the home is spectacular! It seems remote, but is really close to everything Bloomington has to offer. Can't say enough good things. Everyone in our group loved the home. Thank you Jessica!
