La ubicación es muy buena. El lugar es muy cómodo limpio y seguro.
Algunos equipos no funcionaban como la maquina para lavar platos, la secadora de pelo, y una lampara al lado de la cama. Seria bueno que revisen los equipos ante del ingreso de un huesped.

La Ubicación y el confor de las habitaciones
Que no hay ningun personal en el Hotel que atienda (todo funciona con claves y App), que no se realiza la liempieza de las habitaciones (encontre cajas viejas de pizza bajo mi cama y ninguna vez en 7 días se limpio mi habitación), que la comunicación por chat puede resultar muy frustrante cuando hay problema (en este caso un problema inicial de falta de batería en la puerta de la habitación desencadenó varios otros problemas muy desagradables) y que el Hotel tiene acceso a mi carta de crédito para realizar "retiro de seguridad" (como no hay nadie en el Hotel para verificar el estado de las habitaciones, retienen el equivalente de una noche para protegerse contr eventuales daños) y que puede haber error en los cobros sobre las tarjetas de credito. Al final el hotel cumplió con las reparaciones que acordamos.

-Centrally located. Metro accessible (Farragut North and West both within 5m walk). 10m walk to DuPont area. 20m walk to Foggy Bottom area and National Mall area.
-Room was spacious and very clean with fully functioning kitchenette.
-I liked that there were extra supplies and linens available to guests as needed.
-Laundry rooms for guests which make longer stays more comfortable.
-I needed to extend my stay and the website told me I had to go through booking.com which wasn’t working. When I called the hotel # they were super responsive and able to assist me with zero issues.
-When I arrived around 10PM at night the front door (which is supposed to require a code) was left propped open because the mechanism holding the door jamb was broken. Another guest had to tape it back lest every time someone exits the door was left wide open to anyone on the street which is a huge security issue for a self-service hotel with no staff watching the lobby!
-The lobby and elevators smelled like a mix of feet and sweat. I saw cleaning staff come and go and occasionally the smell would dissipate but then always come back? Upper level hallways and my room smelled fine though thankfully.
-Lower level (basement) smelled terrible like sweat, feet, and mildew.
-Only working water refill station was in the gym in the lower level, the other one was broken and literally hanging off the wall.

The place I stayed at should have been cleaner and better maintained. There were visible signs of neglect, such as areas held together with duct tape and patches of rust.

Whilst not for everyone I liked the “app experience” to check in. Location was superb. Having a kitchen was nice. Supermarket and 7-11 around the corner.
Bed was a tad small and noise from the street was high.

no human contact and digital entry to entrance, lift and room ridiculous- keybboard too hard to read and punch at entrance door - so frustrating! Just hire friendly front staff who greet you and hand you a swipe card?!!! Lights in room so poor you cannot read in bed!

The location is good.
The sound insulation is not good, I’ve heard the neighbors talking and the cleaning staffs shouting very loudly. Also, the photo of the building‘s exterior on the booking website is different than from the photo of the actual building.

Very good location in the south of Manhattan. Well-equipped kitchen, very clean, large room.
Unfortunately there is one big negative point. Due to a flight cancellation, we had to stay an extra night in New York. Upon request via booking.com, we were given a price of $350 for the free room. This is extremely outrageous. We had to change hotels for one night.

Location was the best thing
The heat being broken was initially a problem but it didn’t end up being an issue. But should have it fixed and not just have the guest shut it off at the heater to stop it being 90 degrees in the room.

Ease of checking in and out, the lockers for storage downstairs for our last day of exploring. Very well equipped kitchen with microwave. Good size bathroom the room has everything you need. It is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station however the metro is no good for reaching attractions such as washington monument, lincoln memorial, capitol building. Better to walk or rent a bike or scooter.
No double glazing the streets are noisey, however sonder did provide a white noise machine.

The bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient. Gym is small but functional.
Access to the hotel is supposed to be fully automated (no staff). However, the front door didn’t work, room door was loose and had connectivity issues and some lights inside the room weren’t working either.

Muy completo, con todo detalle, tanto el apartamento como el hotel en sí mismo (libre disposición de toallas, café...). El apartamento era muy muy grande, con zona de lectura incluso. La entrada autónoma funciona genial, es muy cómoda. La ubicación es muy buena para visitar lo más turístico de Washington, y alrededor del hotel hay unos cuantos sitios para comer.
Una mejora sencilla de implementar sería cambiar los enchufes por alguno de USB.

La ubicación del alojamiento es excelente y también es espacioso y bien equipado.
En las terminaciones del baño hay desgaste, no tiene ventana ni ventilación mecánica. Recomendaría instalar un equipo de ventilación mecánica. La pintura del cielo en la cocina tenía un parche.

Good amount of space, well stocked kitchen, easy check in online, good keyless system. WiFi worked well, smart TV as well.
The bathroom had an air vent but seemingly no air flow. Also the air vent was quite dusty and dirty.

Great Location. Kitchen was new and well equipped.
The apartment furniture seemed worn out. Insufficient lighting. The pass code system to enter the building worked poorly. The dial at the building entrance needs renewal. The evening before departure, I was not able to enter, nor could some other guests. Had to wait in sub-zero temperatue outside for half an hour until another guest opened the door on their way out to let us in. The Sonder contact number and text number did not work to call for help. The passcode dial in the elevator needs renewal. Bathrooms too.

Where to start? We felt this place was perfect, better than anything we have had in so many years traveling worldwide. Our room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable. Equipment wise, there was everything: you name it, it’s there – any thinkable, non-extravagant kitchen utensil, iron and ironing board, of course a hairdryer, and even charging supplies for several electronics. It really feels like a home away from home and is so much better than any Airbnb you could get. You don’t interact with any person face-to-face, but the online interfaces work perfectly.
The hallways and lobby are a little bit dated (as opposed to the rooms), but it’s better this way than the other way around, and it doesn’t do anything bad to the core of the experience. I don’t like it that they almost force you to designate a time in which you’re going to check out. It gives you the feeling that you’re less flexible.

The Sonder is located in the heart of DC. It is a sort of a hotel apartment that is fully automated so no reception nor staff. You receive a code prior to your arrival and it gives you access to everything. The room I had was spacious with a dressing and a fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable and modern. The hotel has a gym and various communal spaces like a laundry room etc. It is definetely a very good value for money for a very central location.
The building could use a little bit of a face lift but nothing to affect the stay.

I arrived at 4 am - i have to wait outside until 5am to have someone open the door for me while it’s quite cold outside, wish they have more sophisticated check in process or at least getting in to the lobby.

De kamers zijn ruim en voorzien van alle gemak. Heerlijk bed en je kan in de ochtend je eigen koffie maken. Alles is lekker schoon. Prima badkamer die ook zeer schoon is.
De liften in het gebouw kunnen wel wat onderhoud gebruiken.
