Comfortable, safe, but needs a few renovations/upgrades.

Room is very comfortable and spacious especially as one person. Bed comfortable easy to rest, other people staying at accommodation were nice, and the staff were incredibly helpful. It also felt very safe, which is important when traveling alone. I recommended it to another person from the same institution coming for work this summer.

The room all over but especially by the desk and window smelled very moldy all the time. The floor and dishes especially cookware did not feel very clean or easy to clean (the cooking spatula I was provided was rusty, and the nonstick material from the pan was coming off which is not safe or healthy at all). I highly recommend replacing the cookware first and foremost since that can become a health hazard, and then considering the floor. Even though it was cleaned, it felt very moldy. Although my room was comfortable, it was right next to the floor garbage can and the AC is RIGHT behind the garbage can shooting the smell of trash towards the hallway and my door. It didn't spread to inside the room, but I just wanted to bring this to your attention. The stairwell almost always smelled bad. There was a strong smell of garbage and mold.

WE SHORTENED OUR STAY IN JAX SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THIS HOTEL

REAL BLUE COLLAR HOTEL. LACK OF MAINTENANCE. NO SOAP IN BATHROOM, TINY LOBBY. LOUD BLUE COLLAR FELLOW GUESTS NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN

The location was great and they had quick service.

The fan was not working in the shower and the carpet was dirty my socks was white but they was dark brown when I left.

Nice and Cozy

We loved the Gazebo, the benches, and the pond and surrounding nature view. The room was a nice size for 2 with a mini stove top and fridge/freezer. I recommend bringing a skillet if possible. They also offer laundry services and a fitness center with complimentary coffee. I would bring condiments from the local Walmart. The bed could be updated but the room including the sheets were clean. Everyone from the staff was friendly.

There were multiple centipedes in the bathroom, but overall it was a nice comfy place..

The concept is nice but the presentation lacked!

We liked the location and the inclusion of the kitchen.

There needed to be a few more utensils in the kitchen as well as a second stool or chair. The bed sqeaked and rattled every move we made and the air quality was not good. Indications of the units not having clean or adequate filters. Both if us suffered from nasal and sinus issues from this. Also it would have been nice to have a nonsmoking outdoor area!

Overall great stay! Great value for the location, lots to do within 10-15 minute drive!

Room was clean. Staff welcoming and helpful. Bed was super comfortable and it was fairly quiet. I enjoyed staying here as the location is wonderful and the rooms are good for the value.

The rooms are a little dated, typical wear and tear but definitely due for an upgrade. Our towel rack broke during our stay but was able to be put back. Staff were attentive to this issue.

This is the second stay. We loved the location and the room sets up. We got everything we need and everyone is nice here.

The refrigerator door is really stupid, so hard to open it.

Unless you want to get bitten by bugs don’t book.

I like the staff friendly attitude.

My boyfriend and I were bitten by bugs and we took pictures to show them. Even after showing them the bites she’s going to say she doesn’t know what it could’ve been and only give me a $25 credit.

Aweful! Zero value for money.

Other than friendly staff... None whatsoever!

Facility was tired, dirty and in disrepair. Had to change the ground floor room due to strong odor and strangers loitering outside the window. In general, the entire property was very dirty, messy and deeply disappointing considering the brand Sonesta.
