Great stay in Talkeetna

Lovely little cabins right on the Susitna River and about 1/2 mile from town . We stayed 2 nights Would go back - Very comfortable stay !

No breakfast provided. The cabin was clean and was up to date. Very close to Talkeetna. Although we were not traveling with children, there was a playground directly across the highway that would be nice for those who are traveling with children. We arrived ahead of the regular check in time and they made the cabin available earlier for us.

We are a retired couple who shared the cabin with another retired couple. There was one couch in the living room area that two of us could sit on. The other two had to sit on dining chairs. It would have been so much nicer and more comfortable if there had been a love seat or a couple of cushioned chairs. There was adequate space for it. We could not get connected to the Wi-Fi unless we did it from the office area and then went to the cabin. Then each time we left the coverage area, we had to repeat the process. It got to be too much of a hassle to keep that up and we just used our regular phone service to access the internet.

North to the future

We enjoyed the experience and the view of staying over in the Cabins. The beds were super comfortable and it was a perfect size for our family. Rooms are spacious! It was nice and warm inside even though the weather was cold outside, did it not bother us at all when we were inside the cabin.

Remember this is a pet friendly area. However, we didn't like getting out of bed to discover that our pajamas were covered in dog hair especially when I'm allergic to dog and cat dander..But, overall, we loved our cabin so much that we truly can't complain.

Beautiful location, very clean, the cabin was great for our family. Loved the child safety gate to stop our toddlers from going upstairs. Honestly, the best place we have stayed at in Talkeetna. We will definitely be back.

very minor, we brought our dog and just didn't know the requirements to kennel him while we were away. we made it work but we're grateful we didn't have any major plans.

Wonderful family getaway mop

We loved the cabins and how cute they were. My favorite part inside the cabin was a journal each person that stayed wrote a little something in! Super clean, super nice! Perfect little spot!

My only disappointment was the lights on all the empty cabins were left on so we couldn't get good pictures of the northern lights.

This was everything we could have asked for in a Talkeetna property.

We loved our stay at the cabin. We even changed our plans and stayed an additional night. The beds were comfortable and the microwave and additional kitchen items such as a crockpot were welcomed.

Sofa bed needs a new mattress. It was all springs. Other beds were great.

Good stay just not the correct cabin location…..buyer beware

Location of property was great…my cabin was a bad location. no breakfast available

I booked through booking.com and I did not get the riverside cabin I booked, but was put in a backwoods cabin with a view of a propane tank…office Open sign and the backs of the riverside cabins. Be sure to book a riverside cabin and make sure you have the correct information with you as the front desk person looked at booking.com and it did say there backwoods. Does not match my confirmation with a loft, but I forgot it at home. Buyer beware. Very disappointing.
