Rooms were ok...clean and with recent minor renovations... good mattress, paint, etc. Bath, old fixtures but clean. Lighting dark and weird.

The facility is a mess. Dilapidated and old...looks like someone intended to reno but ran out of money and gave up. In the stairways, parking lot and other public areas it felt like a post apocalypse prison movie. Very bad. Wouldn't go back. Tripped on old and broken exterior gravel treaded steel stairs and bruised my knee. Take it off the list ....

Arrogant staff. Tiniest room I've ever stayed in. Can't turn 360 degrees in bathroom. No refrigerator or microwave. I've been here before and never had such a miserable experience. Would not allow me to get a refund and is holding my deposit. I want you to contact me at 516 510 4482.

Internet was good and it was easy to find the place It is close to the road. The shower was fair enough, good water temperature and quantity. My experience with the staff was good. They were attentive.

My room smelled musty and had a slight smell of cigarettes. The toilet seemed to be clogged. So far I haven't understood whether it was just slow and the water rose to almost overflowing or whether it was clogged. It took about three flushes to get the waste out. People who don't like light to sleep: The bedroom curtain doesn't prevent light from entering the room in abundance. During the time I was there I didn't see the corridor light go out. So expect to sleep in a room with a light on. I would stay 2 nights, but stayied just 1 once I thought it didn't worth it.

They charged me a $100 deposit, which I am told will be refunded in about 4 days. I saw no such information when I was charged by booking.com. At check in, the receptionist told me that I could get a receipt after check out to certify that the refund was due. However, at check out the staff seemed upset that I wasn't willing to trust them. It seems to be the case that he would be unwilling/unable to make good on the night clerk's offer, even if I were to wait for housekeeping to check the room, so I'll leave without doing so. Overall, the staff gave no indication that they understood that I have been twice (so far) coerced into an agreement that I would otherwise not have accepted, and that in both cases they had failed to hold up their end! I will certainly avoid Red Rod Inn in the future, and will also treat booking.com reservations with a fair bit of skepticism.

El lugar es súper sucio y no tenían disponible la habitación que había reservado 10 minutos antes . Me dieron otra habitación con un costo extra y cuando fui a entrar estaba llena de cosas y basura como si alguien viviera allí. Volví a hablar con ellos y me pedían que tenía que volver a pagar 12 dólares más por otra habitación . Cancele de inmediato y no me devolvieron el dinero , ni el depósito. No le recomiendo a nadie que se hospede en ese basurero.

the staff- unprofessional management-unprofessional the rooms-dirty, bug infested, smoked filled and they robbed me of my deposit. the management-lack customer service skills need training.

Easy to get to and reasonable price for a Friday night. Good lighting and comfortable bed.

Found a large insect in the tub-- no big deal but would probably bother some guests. The facility is in bad need of renovations-- there was some kind of netting on the balcony roof presumably to keep the roof pieces from falling down. I also didn't like having to provide a credit card and $100 deposit -- still not sure if that's been returned. I know it's necessary in some places, but since we had prepaid it made me nervous.

It was clean, comfortable and near good places to eat. People were friendly. Close to airport.

It was not possible to communicate with the hotel in advance about parking, and I was shocked to learn I could not leave my vehicle there for an extended period of time while I was away. That communication was very important to be able to make good plans.

Drug dealers, prostitution, heater did not get warm. No toilet paper, I stayed with my wife and house keeping kept giving us one towel and one wash cloth

The toilets barely flush. There were stains on the bed, fowl oder. Never again

Everything else was horrible. Property was dirty and unsafe. Room smelt. Bed only bad sheets on it we had to use our own blankets. The toilet was loose. Shower handle was loose. The only thing really clean in the room was the ac. The safety of the property was poor and the saftey of people on the property was also.

Looks like an oversized drug house, I could smell pot as I rode through the parking lot, saw a hooker on the balcony and a lot of seedy peoples hanging out. I went into the office to check in and the guy ahead of me was canceling his reservation (couldn’t get a refund). Another person came in saying that when he got to his room there were people still in there. I hightailed it out and never looked back. Consider it a $90 lesson on where not to stay

Un peu bruyant (pas trop pire, toutefois). Beaucoup de lumière entrait dans la chambre, en haut du rideau, et à travers la porte qui ne ferme pas de manière étanche. Quand nous sommes entrés dans la chambre, nous avons remarqué que a chaleur était élevé, et l'aire conditionnée aussi! Donc, froid en entrant… en fermant l'aire conditionnée, c'était chaud, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons trouvé le thermostat. La personne qui préparait la chambre, n'a évidemment pas remarqué ces détails, ce qui est terrible pour l'environnement, en plus d'être couteux pour l'établissement.

Bath towels so rough! My bath towel was stained with yellow in many places. Low quality bedding covers felt rather plastic-y. Why was there netting over the covered walkway? Was it holding in the blacony walkway above from crumbling onto people waling below? Is the cement crumbling or what?
