Hosts will be available 24/7 for any maintenance issues, questions, or concerns. Located in the heart of downtown Lincoln within walking distance to the University of Nebraska, Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Amtrak Station, Haymarket Park, Lied Center, downtown bars and restaurants as well as the Historic Haymarket District … just a block away. The Grand Manse is a location unlike any other in Nebraska. The histories of some of Nebraska’s famous citizens have been interwoven with the history of the space in its former incarnation as the U.S. Court House and Post Office. The Grand Manse, reflects the building itself “the great house” filled to the roof with marble, terrazzo, oak, maple, brass and many of the elements that were fundamental materials used when a grand structure was being built in 1904. It also reflects the new chapter in history that is being built in the space: the stories of brides and grooms, honored guests, esteemed retirees and executives, who choose The Grand Manse as the perfect venue for their celebrations, events, specialty and corporate lodging. Close to city busses and available to Uber/Lyft drivers. Metered street parking located around the building. The Grand Manse is a non-smoking facility. If you need to smoke, please do outside away from any main entrance door. If there has been smoking inside the room, there will be a minimum fee of $250 charged to your room. The Grand Manse is not only a place for you to stay the night, but also home to 52 residential units, corporate offices, and event spaces. Please be considerate of others in the building while you are staying with us. Changes to reservations are subject to a $75.00 admin fee. No more than 20 persons may occupy the Penthouse without prior written consent of management. Pets are not permitted. The Grand Manse, including the Penthouse and parking garage, is 100% smoke free. No furnishings shall be removed from the Penthouse. We have no responsibility for lost, stolen, or abandoned items. Door Fobs (4 Total) Two in lock box and two on Penthouse table. You can request additional fobs but please keep in mind a $50 charge is deducted for each lost key card/key fob. Guests may not sublet any portion of the Penthouse. Guest (and each invitee) acknowledges and understands that Guest is solely responsible for any accident or injury to any person during the Guest's stay at the Penthouse and in the Grand manse and that Old Federal Place, LLC ("Owner") accepts no legal or financial responsibility. No weapons or fireworks allowed on the property. Absolutely no house parties. Roof deck: no going beyond the gated area.

Had a large family Christmas gathering over 3 days at this location. Was wonderful. 4 generations! Tons of space, beautiful! Pictures do not do justice!!! Will definitely come again! Check in was a bit confusing but property manager was very helpful! Thank you!

We had stayed at this property in September of 2021 so this was a return visit for us. Great location, great amenities and plenty of room for people to spread out. Everyone had a great time and we are currently checking our calendars to book a return visit.

I will start by saying we are a hardworking, problem solving, self-sufficient group of 16 adult. Renting the penthouse at over $4000 for 2 nights is a splurge we don't often partake in; therefore, our expectations were high. To say the least, our experience was subpar.
Our issues weren't the fact we didn't have even one towel or washcloth per person, or that neither frig was working properly, or that we couldn't find the welcome/rule book until late our last night.
Our issue was the responses we received from the host. I am in the hospitality business and would never talk to a guest in the manner Cynthia talked to me. I felt belittled, stressed and in trouble the entire stay. We checked in 2 hours early as our passcode opened the lock box and the fobs were in it, therefore I assumed the place was ready. And it was. I feel this made her upset and she was mad at us the rest of the stay. We left 2 hrs early to make up for it. A phone call was made to her after our stay, and she didn't care at all how we felt about anything.
If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the heart of Lincoln and are willing to tolerate a condescending host with lack of detail in caring for the property, then I would recommend this place.

We had a great time with several pre-wedding celebrations! The space allowed for several gatherings and there was plenty of room for conversations and activity. The surround sound creates a great atmosphere, and the rooftop area provided great additional space and views of the city. Wonderful place!

Our group of 18 had an amazing time and comfortable stay. It was a great location just a couple blocks from both Haymarket and Memorial Stadium. Communication was EXCELLENT with the manager! We look forward to our next game in Lincoln and will use this property again!

Perfect location for a family reunion
This well-equipped property is not only gorgeous, it is comfortable, walking distance to restaurants and bars, but more importantly allowed us all a chance to catch up, chat and play games. We enjoyed the beautiful Nebraska sunsets from the rooftop patio and loved spending time in the hot tub. Thank you for the hospitality and providing so many luxurious amenities. We would love to rent this property again.

Gorgeous, unique property! We had a wonderful sibling/family gathering. We were so comfortable at the Manse and amazed by all the amenities. We only stayed two nights but want to stay more if we are lucky enough to return! Our agent was very responsive.

Several coffee shops and at least a dozen bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance. We rarely used our cars.

The Grand Manse is a one of kind property in a one of a kind setting adjacent to the Haymarket Area in Lincoln. Overall very good. The check in process was a little bumpy. The access code that was provided for the lockbox to get the key fobs was not correct but the attendant on site was very helpful getting us past that. All of our guests were very comfortable and we had a great time.

We take road trips to all the Big Ten cities for football games and the Grand Manse set the standard by which all other trips will be measured. This historic former federal building converted into apartments has modern fixtures, but historic floors and woodwork. It's huge, it's well maintained, it has everything we could want for our trip, plus. We got a lot of use out of the fantastic kitchen and the terrific rooftop terrace with the hot tub, the BBQ, and the sighting of the Jumbotron from the football stadium.
Because I organized the trip, my son and I got to select the master suite for our room. There was a shower big enough to pack the whole gang into, about a dozen closets, fireplace, skylights, modern fixtures in the bathroom, and great appointments.
The location, 4 blocks from the stadium and 2 blocks from campus, and right in the middle of downtown was perfect for our gang to go in any direction they wanted without trying to organize cars and people … everything was within walking distance.
Sunshine, who manages the place, was a pleasure to work with and on top of everything. We were making a steak dinner for 12 but couldn't find sufficient steak knives for the group. New steak knives were there within hours. She gave us great tips about restaurants in the area and a friend of hers selling great baked goodies at the farmer's market on Saturday.
Next time our team plays at Nebraska, we’ll be back, and we’ll be selecting the Grand Manse!

Grand Manse is Indeed Grand
We take road trips to all the Big Ten cities for football games and the Grand Manse set the standard by which all other trips will be measured. This historic former federal building converted into apartments has modern fixtures, but historic floors and woodwork. It's huge, it's well maintained, it has everything we could want for our trip, plus. We got a lot of use out of the fantastic kitchen and the terrific rooftop terrace with the hot tub, the BBQ, and the sighting of the Jumbotron from the football stadium.

Family football weekend
Our family has been gathering in Lincoln for a Husker football weekend for many years. We have found our favorite spot now with this property. The property manager (Sunshine) was very responsive and helpful with our questions.
The property was extremely clean, organized and was so close to everywhere we were planning on visiting during our stay. Its right next to the booming Haymarket District and within walking distance to the University City Campus and the Stadium. Our well traveled and local friends were amazed at the views from the rooftop terrace and our younger crowd took in the hot tub as the social gathering spot.
Overall it far exceeded our expectations and we have already booked for next year. The Liggett Family

Celebrating 60 years of marriage for our parents along with children and grandchildren was made extra special by our stay at the Grand Manse Penthouse. Classy yet comfortable, with an amazing location
We were able to use the Grand Manse Penthouse for an event with 12 people in late December. It was a beer tasting and fundraising event for our organization. The space was a perfect fit and a great mix of classy yet casual and comfortable. We were able to have an informal presentation in the living room, as well as some great time of connection with the group with plenty of room to spread out. And the setting and view from the rooftop is the best.

We were in town for a graduation and this was the perfect spot for all the family to stay. There were12 of us and there was plenty of room to sleep and play. The rooftop deck let us enjoy the fresh air and the shuffle board table brought the group together for some fun competition. The kitchen allowed us to eat together when we wanted; and the downtown location also gave us everything within walking distance. This property could not have been more perfect for our gathering. Great space for business meetings
We stayed as part of a strategic planning retreat. The Manse provided not only a great private space for us to facilitate our retreat, but also fantastic accommodations for us to all stay on site as well. Close proximity to food, brews, and entertainment is a bonus! The space was beautiful and the property manager extremely helpful in our planning process. Highly recommend!

Fantastic long weekend in NE
I can't say enough wonderful things about the Penthouse. First off, the property is truly amazing. It is spacious, unique, and full of beautiful character. The rooftop deck was our favorite spot and had plenty of seating for our entire family to enjoy. It is furnished with everything you could need and the management team was incredibly responsive to all of our requests. Hope to stay here again for future Nebraska vacations!

Unbelievable Property
This property was one of the best I have ever rented. It was the perfect property for my wife and I to host our family and some friends for a post wedding celebration for our daughter. Carrie was awesome setting everything up and communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. Thank you for making our family celebration memorable for all who attended.
