About this house rental
Situated in Philipsburg, this attractive house for $130 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Formerly known as the "R House Inn" on VRBO, this fully updated 1890's era home in downtown Philipsburg is an amazing place to stay. The house is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms / 1 bath, situated 4 blocks from the downtown stop sign in historic Philipsburg, with brewhouses, shopping, restaurants, coffee houses, sapphire panning, and the Sweet Palace to enjoy. The house is about 30 minutes from the front side of Discovery Ski Basin, 15 minutes to Georgetown Lake, and 45 minutes to upper Rock Creek, with lots of great fishing and hiking opportunities all around. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds and there are two full-sized futons out in the common area. The spacious living room is furnished with a gas fireplace and beautiful view of the back side of Discovery and downtown Philipsburg. The kitchen is perfect for creating delicious meals, and comes equipped with all necessary appliances. The bathroom has a full size tub/shower, and both a washer and dryer are available for use. There is a full porch located on the front of the cabin or a back porch in the rear, both offering a spot to enjoy the beautiful views to enjoy throughout the stay. The cabin comfortably fits 8 people.

This house was down the street from my cousins who had a backyard wedding. We were able to walk to town and shop and walk back. The area is very beautiful and quiet. The house is spacish. The house was clean and has a lot of windows for natural light. We were sad we didn't get to enjoy it much!

The property is cute and close to the main attractions. There is no AC in the house and no fans for the bedrooms, I would bring your own, it got very warm in there. There is also only one mirror in the whole place so it you have more than one lady getting ready it could be a problem. Plenty of games, blankets, and pillows.

Great spot near the action in and around Phillipsburg
Location is just 3 blocks up the hill from “Main Street”. Basic lodging for 4 that gives you a place to sleep and prepare meals as you enjoy the area. 25 minutes from fishjng in Rock Creek. Minutes from Flint Creek. 20 minutes from Georgetown Lake and 30 minutes from Discovery Ski Resort. And of course, walk down the hill to the brewery, dinner, shops and of course, the in town version of Gem Mountain. Great price per night for 4 adults. Would be nice if there was a better patio to sit out on in the morning and evening.

Work Trip

Perfect weekend spot
Our son was playing music at The Spring, so we met with our daughter as well and all stayed there -- perfect location to get out for a day of floating and fishing and back in time to enjoy the evening's music and social distancing at The Spring! The house was perfect - very well- appointed kitchen for our needs, comfy beds, and full bathroom. Just perfect!

It’s a great location from downtown P-Burg! The house had everything we needed to cook our meals and for two small families to sleep comfortably! We hope to come back soon!

Post Xmas ski trip
The house has a nice open layout that is terrific for largish groups - we had a group come over for dinner and it did not feel crowded at all. The house is really well-equipped except for a couple of items. (table lamp in one of the bedrooms would be nice and there was no cheese grater that we could find).
