My family had every intention on skiing everyday while in the Poconos but the weather turned warm. Fortunately, the house we rented had a great game room and plenty of room for my family to stretch out when we were stuck indoors. The neighborhood was family oriented and the views were great.

'Bear Cabin' is as described...welcoming and homey. Great hot water pressure. Had a bit of a problem with the TVs. We were never able to use the TV in the upstairs bedroom but I don't believe this impacted the couple that used the room. To property manager Melanie's credit she worked with me well into the night at check-in, troubleshooting the living room TV. The air hockey/ping ping table, and pool table in the basement are a great addition and an excellent distraction from TVs and devices.
Unfortunately, weather did not permit us the option to enjoy the ski resort. They were just beginning to make snow during our stay. However, we were able to find reasonable options near by and the whole family enjoyed. Top of the World pool is closed (the closest indoor pool) however, there is Mill Pond pool was open about a 10 min drive from the house. Whether you take advantage of the amenities on the resort or not 'Bear Cabin' is still a fabulous choice for families, couples, girl's trips, whatever!

We had a wonderful time this past weekend. The house was very comfortable and clean there was plenty of room for two families with room to spare. The fireplace was so warm and cozy, the home was just right for relaxing and spending time with our loved ones. This was our second stay here and we are looking forward to returning soon!!

We had never been to the Poconos before. This location is excellent for Poconos outings. It is just around the corner from Bushkill falls and Delaware water gap. It wasn't too far to Camelback. We enjoyed the fabulous swimming pools through the neighborhood HOA. The kids loved the air hockey in the basement, and we got some modified ping pong in. The property manager, Malanie, was very helpful.

Home was clean and in a very nice location. Living room was small and there is a lack of silverware. I believe there were only 3 spoons. TV upstairs did not work at all. Other than these minor inconveniences, had a great stay.

This was our forth trip to the cabin and we loved it. We have already booked it for next year. It was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We love that it's walking distance to the ski lodge and all the amenities is a plus with all the grandkids. Randell and everyone we talked with were very helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Poconos cabin. There were 11 of us ages 2 - 40. The location was great - there was no snow being made on the slopes in the community but we were a 15 minute drive from Shawnee Mountain, which was a blast. The cabin was warm and comfortable. I will say that the person sleeping in the basement got less rest due to sound transmission. Host was very responsive, as was the property manager who responded right away when we had some difficulty with the entertainment system. It was resolved right away.

The house has plenty of space for a family to spread out. The weather was very cold but no snow, so we did not get to do much outside in the area. The just provided plenty of plates and dishes for holiday meals, and a cute Christmas tree made it very festive.

Lovely home; plenty of space for everyone. Very clean. We had our Thanksgiving meal here and it was wonderful! The area is great; not too far from shopping. We will return!!!!

was not sure master bedroom bedding was washed before we arrived there was dog hair all over it. not enough utensils or seating in living room for more than 4 people really comfortably

Property very nicely appointed. Work on some of the amenities needed, ping pong paddles useless, pool table needs leveling, pool sticks broken, air hockey not functional. Pleasant atmosphere for vacation. Recommend for new guests. Thanks .

Quiet Getaway
The house was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Loved all the natural light. Lots of room for family dinners around the dining room table.
There really wasn’t much room for pantry items. The property was not pet friendly and some of the pet restrictions were not disclosed until literally the night before check in, that was frustrating.. Our puppy parents ended up only staying one night and then went home :-(

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this home. It is beautiful and spacious. There are three levels so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Having a bathroom on each level was definitely a plus. Very clean and welcoming. I appreciated the driveway being nice and flat, not on a hill. The neighborhood is beautiful. We even saw some deer in the backyard. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and the restaurant on top of the mountain. Communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely recommend this home, it is clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

My family and I rented for a long weekend. There were a total of 8 adults. The master bedroom is really nice and spacious, the loft and basement are nice too. The cabin is nicely situated and has a nice view out the back that you can enjoy from one of several balconies or the back deck. Overall a really nice stay!

This house is beautiful and in a great location. The property manager was responsive and answered all of my questions before and during my stay. They communicated effectively all the things I needed to aware prior to getting to the property. The pictures of the house is accurate. A couple of things could have made this experience a little better. The cleaniness of the home is subpar. The major areas are cleaned but when you look closer you can see dust in certain areas like the ceiling fan and in the bathrooms. The home also had a slight odor like it needed to be aired out or vents changed. I'm not sure if deep cleaning is done after each party leaves despite being charged a cleaning fee. The front door uses a key and I was scared about losing the key. It maybe helpful to get a key pad lock so you don't have to physically walk around with a key. Overall the price and location was great.

The location of this cabin was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and the property itself was so spacious. They had the dinner table decorated for Christmas and even a lit tree. I stayed with my family and dog. The cabin was well stocked but if you are a wine drinker bring your glasses. I’m definitely looking forward to booking again!

We were looking forward to the jacuzzi, however after filling it up not even half way the hot water ran out. We were told to wait 15 minutes for the hot water to come back but after 15 minutes the water was still cold. The water in the upstairs shower was ice cold the entire stay. We were blamed because we had 6 guests, however the website states it sleep up to 12. They're were dead flies throughout the upstairs including the jacuzzi that we had to clean up. The mop was disgusting so we couldn't use that if we needed to. I will say the cabin was overall decent and the mountains were beautiful!
