The location was perfect, close to city attractions like the Temple of Diana and Praça de Giraldo. The owner met me at the location, gave me clear instructions and then recommended the perfect restaurant. Staying at Casas do Megue was perfect; in a quiet central location, modern conveniences inside which included WiFi, a great kitchen and lounge area to watch TV.

As I arrived on a holiday room was late in being ready and contacting someone to meet me took a while Again it was a holiday

Fully equipped self contained apartment with microwave, stove top, kettle, all crockery and cooking utensils. Situated in a small pedestrian street in an authentic town environment. A true experience of Portugal. Owner was waiting on the doorstep to greet us and handover keys. Good WiFi.

No parking. Street is pedestrian and parking on surrounding streets is either residents only or pay and display, however it is free between 1930 and 0830 in the pay and disable spaces but meant we had to get up and leave unnecessarily early

Not clean. I mean, on the surface it looks all well, but then you start noticing some red flags telling you that cleaning is done to the bare minimum, if at all. You open the bed and you find hair.... and a yellow stain in the mattress cover. Bonus points for the complete lack of soundproofing from either the neighbours or the people in the street. If you expect to rest and are not used to sleep in loud environments, good luck to you. Not worth the price, not at all.

Location was great.

No handsoap or anything to wash with in the bathrooms, no clean washing up sponges, only a completely worn and over used pan sponge.upstairs toilet stank, and the upstairs toilet bin hadn't been emptied fm the last guest. Dirty pans in the cupboard. Main bedroom had no window and the springs coming through the mattress. Needs a coat of paint and a bit of love put into the place.

Perfect for the occasion, even allowed out pet in our stay! Really in the center of Evora and you can visit many points by foot.

The heater in the living room has the air flow directly in the TV.

First of all we did not believe that a place being booked through Booking.com could be in this state, it is absolutely not habitable for any kind of stay, less for vacation. The kitchen was so dirty that everywhere you touched was full of dirt and fatty. The oven was black with grease of lack of cleaning, the 2 rooms is so full of visible mold that we felt sick. The glass dining room table still had grease finger prints of previous people. The lamp in the room, was broken and the master bedroom handle came off when we wanted to close it. Behind the beds years of dust and mold. Absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed, as we have stayed in Evora various times before and Never had an experience like this. We couldn't take the lack of hygiene and chose to look for a Hotel after one night. I do hope that through this review the owners take note and other people do not have to loose hard earned money like us. The photos does not show how this property really looks. Very sad. I do hope that then place will get a lot of upgrades and a good clean for a better future experience.

Central location. Nice appartement.

In winter this appartement is cold. No heating in bedroom and in bathroom. The air conditioning in the kitchen is very noisy. Not sufficient blanket on the bed. The lady with the key was 20 minutes late and excuses can after I told her she was late.

The house needs some maintainance as the guests aparently are not taking care as they should. It's really a pitty they do not respect the propriety. Walls need to be refreshed, the sealing of the shower was partially getting off. What really desapointed me was the lack of shower gel, the package was empty and the liquid soap was dilueted with water. Apparently guests abuse of it too but a signs and stickers I think would be more effective: "TRY TO SAVE THE ENVIRORMENT!"

No kettle in the kitchen, no windows in one of bedroom, small from one of bathrooms (fortunately the second one was ok)

Good service & comunication no problem to book an extra night. Dogs allowed 😃❤Fast respons on any questions! The host was waiting at the apartment-door so no dificulty to find it.

The extra bed (a couch-bed) was not very comfortable to sleep. However the master bed slept great!!👍👍👍

It was very central and the owner was very nice.

Unfortunately the shower upstairs flooded the room resulting in clothes getting soaked as there was nowhere to hang them so they were on the floor.

The sofa-bed is not really an option, the matress is really thin and very uncomfortable. The kitchen supplies are quite old and the dishes were not very clean. In general, the house needs renovation.
