excellent house! great location!

The house is so spacious and well designed. It was also spotless when we arrived. It is a perfect location that just invites you to relax. There is so much room that even a large group where everyone can have their own space. This is a special place, Enjoy it!

My family and I rented this lakehouse as a family retreat on Lake Pontoonsuc. We had ten adults and two teenagers, and we never felt cramped. This lake house home is clean, spacious, fully eqipped and has a fantastic view of the lake. It is also surprisingly very private. My family and I barbequed, had fire pit nights, fished off the dock, kayaked, swam, played board games at night at the large dining room table and by day, lounged on the deck watching the eagle and the ducks soar by. We had a wonderful stay and made many happy memories. We have no complaints or criticisms about this gem, and we would happily return again. Book this place! You won't be sorry!

The house was well laid out for our family and the house manager was awesome. Checkin/out very easy. The location is wonderful and beautiful views. Overall, the house was fine and was surface clean. However, it would benefit from some maintenance (grout in primary bathroom floor was missing, decks could use a fresh coat of paint) and deep cleaning. We had to wash the sheets and duvet in one of the bunk rooms as they did not look clean. I am thinking that if the people who stay at the house do not strip all the beds (which we didn’t do either if we didn’t sleep in the bed) or out the unused towels in the laundry area, the sheets/duvets/towels do not get washed in between stays. Thus, the linens collect dust and dirt even if they weren’t used.

Clean, updated, comfortable and in a perfect location!

The house was exactly as advertised. The house was very clean, everything was provided and the views were amazing. I also loved how most of the bedrooms were separated from each other, so there was a lot of privacy. There were numerous places to eat 10-15 minutes from the house and Jiminy Peak was very close. We would definitely rent this house again.

Spent a long weekend on a ski trip with 10 friends and the house was great! The lake was frozen over so we enjoyed walks on the lake and drove over to Bousquet Mountain for skiing. 4 bathrooms were great and we could have fit even more than our 11 pretty easily. Email information for checkin was straight forward and communication in general was excellent!

As our children are in 4 different states renting the home allowed us to celebrate Christmas under one roof with all our kids and grandkids.

I wanted to leave a review, but it's complicated because we didn't stay in this house, we stayed in another property very close on the lake. Evidently this property was undergoing renovations so the host sent us to another property which was larger and very beautiful. Very clean. quiet and roomy. We can't say enough as to how helpful and generous the host was. We'll be back!

So happy we rented this house on Pontoosuc Lake! The house, the view — everything was beautiful, and the perfect setting for our family Thanksgiving! We were 9 all together: ages 16, 17, 25, 26, 48, 49, 58, 58 and 82 - and there was plenty of room for us all to spend a comfortable 5 days! The kitchen was well stocked, there were more than enough towels, the linens were clean and fresh, and we weren’t lacking for anything. The view of the lake downstairs, particularly from the living room/dining room and from the master bedroom upstairs was spectacular - the perfect vantage point to watch the sunrise over the lake! Everything was just lovely - a very pretty, warm, comfy and spotless home. We will be back!

This was an absolutely perfect property for my group of long time friends who stayed here together to celebrate our 65th birthdays. We could all be together easily in the kitchen area by the fire or the living room area facing the lake. The house is wonderfully decorated and so so clean. We enjoyed it thoroughly and it was perfect for us.

Rented for extended family for a wedding in the area. Very well appointed house and very quick response to our questions. Beautiful lakefront location with dock and fire pit. Clean and good layout. My only word of caution is that the beds were not very comfortable, but otherwise wonderful.

This is our third year at this property. We enjoy a get together with family and friends each time. The lay out of the house works perfectly for us, giving everyone their privacy and still having a large area for socializing. The view of the lake is fabulous. This has become our second home. The house was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had a great view of the lake! Enjoyed kayaking on the lake, fishing and the fire pit for the chilly evenings. Perfect way to unwind.

We booked this for our wedding party for our wedding nearby and could not have asked for a better space! It had plenty of room for everyone and was better than we expected. The owners and property manager were easy to reach, making the whole process a breeze.

My wife and I rented the house with two of my high school friends and their wives for our 55th reunion. The house was the perfect venue as it has 5 bedrooms and spacious living area. We all could have our personal space, but the wonderful openness was great to congregate for dining and lounging around.. We all had a memorable stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was just perfect. House is clean. Very spacious. Was able to fit all 13 of us comfortably. Definitely want to come back and recommend!!

It was exciting to be right in the lake. We see as m and did lots of kayaking. Unfortunately the fishing was not great

My best friend and our families joined together and had a wonderful time! Spent most of the weekend in the water thanks to the beautiful weather! So much space for all 11 of us and very clean!

This is the second year we rented from this property. It is in a perfect location- right on the lake, not far from shops/restaurants in Pittsfield, and close to multiple hikes. The kayaks at the house really added to the experience. The house is clean and comfortable. We have recommended to friends and family.

This is an excellent, well maintained property smack on Lake Pontoosuc. The property is well located near the major Berkshires attractions including Tanglewood and Jacob's Pillow. We were able to sleep 7 easily utilizing the four bedrooms and the television room. My friends used the property's kayaks and enjoyed the lovely lake.

House is on a spectacular location overlooking the lake. Well appointed, immaculate, and a great layout for extended families. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a home that allows multi-get families to get away.

This Lakehouse provided ample and comfortable space for 10 adults. Kayaking around this beautiful lake was enjoyed by all of us taking in views of the ducks, geese and even an eagle. We would definitely return for another stay at this well maintained property.

This house was wonderful! If you like the outdoors, shopping, eating or just hanging out, the house and location provided it all. We were 7 adult women sharing this house. The layout of the house, the deck overlooking the lake, the amenities (kitchen appliances and supplies, towels, kayaks ...) - I believe made it a perfect year round house and location. The house can easily accommodate several couples or multiple families. Communication with the property manager was easy and she made herself very accessible as needed.

House was great. Could be listed as 6 bedrooms. Would appreciate 2 more dining room chairs. The door to the porch from downstairs front room with a futon should have a shade.
