Great property in a fantastic location. Friendly people. Has all the facilitates that you'd expect, plus more with the use of the Netflix etc.

Only a couple of small things that were mentioned, the fencing was damaged meaning that sheep could easily enter the grounds, not ideal with dogs - would be good to see that repaired.

Love this place and was a long awaited return visit and brought some of my family this time, and had much better weather - a mix of everything!! . Super location with all necessary facilities, good wifi, tumble drier, lovely conservatory to soak up the sun out of the wind. Cosy and with great views from the bedrooms. Found the North Harbour Bistro on Scalpay this visit, a real must for foodies who appreciate amazing quality at a very reasonable price. Hope to come again as great location to visit South Harris & Luskentyre but also easy to pick up the route to Lewis. Be aware grocery facilities within Tarbert very limited but good grocers on road to Leverburgh and on road North to Lewis. A good Harris Tweed shop and the Harris Gin Distillery both by the ferry terminal at Tarbert

We especially liked the excellent heating, the superb shower, the smart new well-equipped kitchen, the modern bathroom and the good wi-fi. The peaceful location and easy access to Tarbert village were also appreciated.

Housekeeping less than perfect - oven needed cleaning, fingermarks on glass doors and windows, few obviously old cobwebs about. Too much clutter in cupboards and drawers. No-where in the kitchen to store the food items we brought with us.

The property felt like a home away from home.

Location was remote with its own beauty. The cottage was very warm and the lounge was snug and welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked.

Some of the furnishings were tired. Garden required a lot of work and the conservatory was not heated.

The location was exceptional, as was the house. A little piece of heaven. Great location for exploring Harris. The hosts were fantastic as was the manager of the house. I have never been to such a well equipped self catering cottage. The garden was unbelievable and that honeysuckle at the door - wow!!!

Remote, peaceful area, close to sea. Marion very helpful. The house was spotless and well equipped.

Nothing much. The outside garden areas and conservatory could be improved but the owners clearly state that it is in progress and it was fine for us.

Fantastic location. Great communication vis email from hosts. Exceptional help from property manager. Nothing to fault, only wish it was for a holiday break and not working.

Nothing it was all terrific.

Marion, our housekeeper, was incredible. My daughter left some luggage at George’s and Marion went considerably out of her way to return it to her immediately. We are very grateful! The house itself is very cozy and Harris is simply spectacular
