The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the mattress it was horrible, and I had to sleep on the bunk bed in the hallway my back and hips hurt so much there was no support at all. My husband sleep in the bed but he did not get a good night's sleep at all. We tried the sofa and had no luck the condo was decorated so cute, but need to update the furniture I hope the owner can do that so we can rent the same unit again.

We have stayed in 602 multiple times and it is always a wonderful stay! The unit is always spotless and has everything you could need. The view is amazing. The beach umbrella setup is very convenient and the covered parking spot is a plus and one of the easiest to park in on the property. Brooks and Shorey never disappoints and Hannah is particularly helpful and friendly. Pelican Isle is our favorite!!

Pelican Isle 602 was great. My cell was acting up so I called and Elizabeth was so helpful. She assured me check in would be easy and it was. I got a call telling us the unit was ready shortly after. Unit was exactly as pictured. Very clean. Stocked better than I expected. Plenty of towels, dishware, etc. Water pressure was great. Lots of TV channels although we spent most time at the beach or on the balcony. Restaurants and shopping are close, short drive so we loved the location; highly recommend.

My overall opinion of this condo is that it was average. I have stayed in many condos and I do not think this one was set apart from any of the others good or bad.The bad - oven element is weak and needs replaced. We had to use the broil on the oven to get it up to temperature.Too much furniture. seemed very cluttered.The coffee maker probably needs changed to a Keurig -my opinion.One of the outlets was missing a cover (hazard) except that there was one of those outlet multipliers plugged in which covered it up.One of the elevators broke down our first day of 10x and was not fixed until our checkout day. The garage was closed down due to a burst pipe and there didnt seem to be any urgency to fix it.Good - I like that there are common use bathrooms at the base level.The condo was in good shape overall. I came for the beach not the Condo.God gifted us with perfect weather the entire tripOverall happy with the trip. Probably will try another condo and probably another building at this point with 2x consecutive years of broken elevators.

We have been staying at Pelican Isle for 11 years now. We have used Brooks and Shorey for most of those stays and they are the best and are especially wonderful people to work with. We stayed in 602. We usually stay in 601,603, 501, 502. 602 was our least favorite. It was dirtier than the other units we’ve stayed in in the past. Baseboards were in desperate need of wiping. The mattress is broken down and needs replaced. The biggest issue we had (for the 2nd year) was smoking in the balcony. Our neighbors smoked the entire time. We couldn’t even enjoy our own balcony. Not only did we endure cig smoke, it was also Marijuana smoke. It has never been allowed to smoke on balconies. I know their room HAD to smell like it. This issue has to be fixed. If we had had little kids or someone with a lung issue, it could have been more of a problem. We love B&S and Pelican Isle but this was frustrating. We also would probably not stay in 602 again unless those small things were fixed.

Back for more
We stayed at Pelican Isle with Brooks & Shorey last year. Loved it so much that we came back for more! When we wanted to plan a vacation before our baby arrives, we immediately thought of Fort Walton Beach and this condo. It’s clean with an ocean view and easy access to the beach, dinner options, mini golf and Publix. We would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next beach vacation.

I want to start by saying we LOVE staying in Ft Walton and have stayed at Pelican Isle several times. This was unfortunately our least favorite room we have stayed in. There was too much bulky furniture which created a very cramped environment. We stayed in a room that was supposed to fit six people comfortably, and we had 5 (2 of those being small kids) and were cramped. The closest where I would normally unpack was stuffed full of extra things that I didn’t mess with. There was extra furniture in the hallway which caused most of our space dilemma. Other rooms (the same size) we have stayed in on the property were more accommodating for our 5. The location and beach front are the reason we love this property so much. We will be back, but will probably choose a different room due to the space constraints.

I want to start by saying we LOVE staying in Ft Walton and have stayed at Pelican Isle several times. This was unfortunately our least favorite room we have stayed in. There was too much bulky furniture which created a very cramped environment. We stayed in a room that was supposed to fit six people comfortably, and we had 5 (2 of those being small kids) and were cramped. The closest where I would normally unpack was stuffed full of extra things that I didn’t mess with. There was extra furniture in the hallway which caused most of our space dilemma. Other rooms (the same size) we have stayed in on the property were more accommodating for our 5. The location and beach front are the reason we love this property so much. We will be back, but will probably choose a different room due to the space constraints.

The property was in good shape on arrival with the beach right out the back balcony. We enjoyed our week at the property.

Okaloosa experience at the max..
Condo is pretty good ...clean and nicely managed. Parking spot helps in summer and during busy times.
View from balcony is amazing... exactly beach front location....short walk to beach...not much crowded also.... all the family enjoyed the beach every day ...

Condo was perfect for our family.
View was beautiful. Condo had everything we needed for the week. Drink coffee in the morning on the balcony and watch the dolphins. Bring binoculars. Amazing!!

The condo was right on the beach as advertised and offered a great view from the balcony. The individual unit was clean, however, there were areas of chipped paint, a small hole in the master bathroom wall, places where the owners had labeled light switches and closets in bad hand writing with a sharpie, and mismatched decor in the master bedroom/bath. Also the remotes for the bunk beds were confusing and didn’t work properly. Why is the Disney channel in Spanish on the top bunk?! Overall, it had the feeling of a cheaper motel instead of somewhere that was $400 a night, which is what we paid for it. The condominium building left something to be desired as well. The window sills of the units were covered in dirt/grime and the outdoor covered walkway to the unit needed a new paint job/cleaning. The restroom by the pool was not clean. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The beach access was nice, and the two provided chairs and one umbrella were nice and in good condition. Overall, we loved the location being right on the beach, but we will not stay here again due to the lack of upkeep in the unit (which could easily be fixed with about $100 of paint, a label maker to label light switches, and matching home decor), and the lack of upkeep in the condominium itself, which I suspect is a larger problem and not as easily fixed.

Beach getaway
Amazing views from the balcony and the beach service was awesome. The condo was VERY clean!! We have stayed in other condos but this by far was the cleanest yet. Perfect location - away from noise but close enough to everything. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful time. This trip was a surprise from my hubby for our 37th wedding anniversary. The staff a Brooks an Shorey were friendly and professional and they made sure we had everything we needed. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, the location was very nice and that view from that balcony was priceless!! I would definitely recommend this property. We will stay there again.
