The property offered a combination of multiple pools and the sea of Protaras exactly under the hotel. The tennis equipment was in a good condition and the gym and the equipment was satisfactory. During the dinner at the hotel the violin was very pleasant and something that its not really present in other hotels.
The bathroom could have been cleaned much more thoroughly and especially in the corners where water accumulates in the shower where mold was present.

Enjoyed the hotel location near boats, water activities and variety of restaurants. (Marcello’s, Lemongrass, etc…) It’s advisable to ask the hotel to book you at these restaurants as it belongs to Sunrise management and the food quality is very good.
Uncomfortable beds, breakfast experience below average. I found the hotel to be expensive for what it offered, especially considering it’s not very clean. (There is a bad smell in the first floor). It didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star rating at all

Very good for families with kids: multiple pools, kids club, disco dancing for kids every evening, sea very near, all you need.

We travel with 3 small kids, and find this hotel very comfortable and family friendly. Stuff was nice and helpful, guest hospitality is on a very hight level. Kids club had good program. Breakfast delicious, with a big choice of food. We are planning to come again and would recommend to everyone!

drains by the swimming towels station need to be checked, it was very infrequent and I would advise them to check this out quickly before it becomes an issue

Everything was amazing: the hotel itself, the location, the staff.
Bedding is great.
Very good breakfast and breakfast area.
No need to fight for the beds by the pools, each room gets its own beds.
The hotel is extremely clean, you can see every day employees cleaning all the areas of the hotel.
I cannot say it ruined my holidays but these can be improved:
the wifi does not work properly.
The hot water is very limited in the shower.
Not enough sunbeds in the private beach area.

old hotel and facilities, bad breakfast, terrible food in the restaurant reception bar. toast 8-9 euro just ham and cheese very bad and they brought us the food 45 minutes after

Upon arrival our sea view room we had booked a year earlier was unavailable.
Had to move rooms next day.

They did give us a free meal in their buffet restaurant which wouldn't be my choice if I paid for it.

the location of the hotel is great. it has direct access to one of the best beaches of the island, and it is in the center of the Protaras main area. you can easily walk to any attraction or restaurant.

Good variety of food at breakfast. Location is fantastic with very easy access to one of the best beach front in Cyprus. Sunbeds and umbrellas readily available by the hotel to residents. Staff were very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Yiannis (in charge of the beach bar) for his positive attitude and excellent manners always willing to please his customers.
Too crowded at breakfast with no social distancing and no masks worn by hotel residents despite compulsory use by Cyprus legislation. However I understand that the hotel management could do very little on this as everywhere else at Protaras (supermarkets, shops etc) nobody used masks cypriots and tourists inclusive.
Another issue at Protaras (not associated with the hotel) was the very loud noise coming out of bars in the night which I assume left many tourists sleepless until the early morning hours. Again this is something that the local authorities need to look into very seriously as it will affect tourism of the area.
Need to say that sound proofing balcony doors at hotel rooms were very effective in keeping the noise down to an absolute minimum
