This property was exactly as described. It was nicely located in a central LA neighborhood, easy access to hiking and downtown LA. Comfortable. Jane and her husband were available but not intrusive.

I stayed for a month in the winter so out of season for beautiful pool. The ambiance inside is friendly. Small area for food prep but beautiful large dining table for prep and company. Living room sofa likely fine for most people but I have back trouble so too soft for me. Many spots to sit outdoors in the back yard. Easy parking on the road. Large outdoor table in photo actually for host family use.

The mattress that was provided was in very poor shape. Due to the poor shape of the mattress I suffered severe back pain which has required medical care. We would recommend that this mattress be replaced. Another issue that we had were the unannounced guests utilizing the pool while we were there. The clutter surrounding the pool and outdoor area could very well have been taken care of prior to our arrival.

What a beautiful place. Very quiet and peaceful and there is nothing like coffee by the pool then floating around for a while. George and Jane are wonderful hosts!

This cute guest house is fully furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed using the pool and surrounding area. The house is located near the entrance to Coldwater Canyon walking trail, which we enjoyed. Our hosts, George and Jane were very friendly and helpful.

Jane and George are wonderful hosts. The place is just what we needed, the pool is perfect, and the location couldn’t be better for hiking and sightseeing. Thank you for having us!

This was our second stay with Jayne and George. This is a nice place to call home when traveling. It's on a lovely, quiet street. The owners are very accommodating. I rated 4 stars as it didn't seem to be as well kept as the last time we visited but all in all it's still a good value and better than sitting around in a hotel room.

The property has all the comforts you need while visiting, is closely situated near the town markets, shops and restaurants and is in a nice neighborhood. The pool looked inviting, but unfortunately we had 5 days of cool and cloudy May weather so did not get to experience it.

Jane and George were wonderful hosts. They were a wealth of knowledge and had great recommendations. The property was everything we hoped for. We had a very relaxing time by the pool with our family and were able to cook out in the deck for our meals. We were looking for relaxation and we got it! We will absolutely book our stay here again. Best spot we have found to stay while visiting our son. Thank you Jane and George!

My kids and I had a lovely stay in Jane's guest house. Jane and her husband George turned out to be fabulous hosts always giving us the privacy we wanted while also including us in their routine if the occasion came up. That way we could befriend each other and share a glass of wine or two and even a hike in the Hollywood Hills. My kids loved the pool! It was so nice and warm, and big! The inside of the guest house is nice and cosy and has everything a traveler needs. Overall a great family holiday. We plan to come back next year!

My significant other and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. Jane and her husband were very welcoming and resourceful when we had questions about local eateries and hiking trail. The guest home was specious and has a full kitchen with all the amenities you can imagine and more. The living area and dinning room were very comforting and comfy. A.C was lifesaving in the summertime in L.A. The heated pool was a plus in the summer in L.A while taking a dip in the evening. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future. I still can't believe my good fortune in finding this gem... had the best vacation ever! George and Jane are great with communcation prior to arrival and getting in was easy. The house is adorable, comfortable and clean. It's location is truly perfect- easy drives to Hollywood, Burbank, Santa Monica, etc. Ralph's market within walking distance. The kitchen is stocked with lots of left over supplies from prior guests and the bathroom also has lots of what you'll need. BONUS- great pool! Tons of privacy. Can't say enough about it! A great place to stay. The bed could use an upgrade to a king. I would pay a bit more if that was the case. Hosts just super and we loved the quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed staying at the Studio City Private Guest House. The hosts were very helpful and we were very pleased with how much room there was. Very clean and spacious. Wished there was a door to the bedroom but it was all quite fine for us and our daughter.

Not only was the property as shown, but the owners couldn't have been nicer! I STRONGLY recommend staying here. It was perfect for my wife and I. The property is about 20-30 minutes from everything, depending on traffic. Great area, plenty to do and plenty to eat within walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn't think twice about it!!

This rental has easy access to Ventura Boulevard, nice privacy and great owners. The pool is fantastic with nice lighting for an evening swim. It also has a great library of books that is fun to peruse. Guaranteed to find something to read by the pool. The only items that we would liked to have had were an extra fan and iron/ironing board.
