I almost don’t want to give such a rave review because I don’t want others to know about this gem! This was our second stay at the property. It is absolutely beautiful. Private and tranquil. Sprawling yard. Beautiful garden and landscaping. Two great houses on the property that are well laid out and equipped. We have a large family and have all been able to fit which has been so nice for us. Amazing location close to town and sconset. The closest beach is never crowded and has access to a pond so is a great option for families with small kids. And the host has always been easy to contact, responsive, and very welcoming. We will definitely be coming back!!

Belle’s Gift was a wonderful place - everyone was so happy. The location is quiet, so many deer and a beautifully maintained property. The house has everything - the kitchen wonderfully stocked. We were so happy we stayed at Belles Gift - and the owner was wonderful to work with. We hope to come back to Belles Gift again on the future. Don’t hesitate to rent this property - it is exceptional !!!!

We were all so pleased with our stay at Belle’s Gift. We had 10 family & friends staying & had plenty of room. The house is stocked with everything & anything you may have forgotten or needed. It was like being at home. What a beautiful property! We went for walks in the morning- lots to explore. Wished we had stayed longer. Hope to stay there again. Will definitely keep Belle’s gift in our favorites list! Thank you for opening your home to us.

My family and I have been coming to Nantucket since the early 1970s. My parents and two brothers and I all own or owned properties in the Wauwinet, Squam, Polpis, Quidnet area. The best part of the island in our view. This is a beautiful property with a very charming Nantucket home and experience. Everything we wanted. Backs up on my favorite place to walk Squam Farm and close to great 4W beach access for fishing, swimming, picnicking and beautiful vistas. A great place to decompress with family and friends.

We loved our stay at Belle's Gift. We all had plenty of space to enjoy and relax and loved that the house had bikes, beach chairs, and beach towels. The full kitchen equipped with everything we needed was very helpful when we needed to make dinner for our large group! 10/10 would recommend booking this property. Looking forward to next year!

“The Grey Lady” was in full force all week; only on our last day did the sun shine. But the week was still wonderful because we we’re staying at Belle’s Gift. The home, the cottage, the setting, the landscaping, the rolling meadow, the entire property is enchanting. Everything you need for a small intimate dinner or a huge clambake is there. As are bikes, towels, beach chairs, games , jigsaw puzzles… the list goes on. AND 2 sets of heavy duty washers & dryers with all the detergent & supplies you’ll ever need.
You can tell this is a home, not just a rental. And Bob Vidoni couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating to all our requests.
We hope to return again and we highly recommend this wonderful place.

Our visit at Belle's Gift was absolutely lovely. This is not simply a rental. It is someone's cherished home who graciously allows guests. Everything about this property is welcoming, well maintained and well thought out. You felt like you were at a friend's home. It was a pleasure to spend a week here with our young adult aged children before they all went off in different directions for the Summer. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The home has everything you may need for a stay on Nantucket...including a well stocked kitchen (the variety of spices was magnificent), bikes to ride to the beach, beach towels, etc. The actual property is gorgeous...a massive yard where the kids played football and the pups chased bunnies. We explored the island by day, and cooked and relaxed by evening. Thank you to Bob and his family for sharing their slice of heaven with us. We hope to be back next Summer. Best, the Vigneaux Family

We had an amazing week at this compound, which is better than the pictures show. We had 12 adults the first 2 days, then dropped to 10. We were able to sleep everyone comfortably, with the millennials in the cottage and the parents in the main house. We did set the fire alarm off when broiling something, so pay attention to the alarm code word when the owner sends you checkin instructions - which only works when one of your family members unbeknownst to you does NOT unplug the house phone (true story). We were blessed with beautiful weather and biked everyday - using our own bikes, some rentals, and one or 2 on the property. And the owner was a great communicator. The bottom line is that this property was the perfect place to top off a neat graduation on the mainland.

We felt immediately comfortable upon entering the house and the layout for the multi-generational family members was ideal. And the cottage was a real bonus! Our two young adult sons loved having their own space. We spent time in the large backyard, lounging in the family room, taking beautiful sunset pictures from the upstairs deck, and taking many beautiful walks from the house. Can't say enough good things about the property. Just hoping we all get another opportunity to stay here. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time -- there was plenty of space, close to the beach (one caution: not all of the roads on the map are there in real life!), very well equipped. A great spot to spend the week with the family!

Wonderful week in Nantucket
We spent a week at the property and it was absolutely perfect. The layout of the house was perfect for our large group of kids and adults and the property was absolutely stunning. Both houses were kept in great shape and well maintained. 3 acres of pristine lawn where the kids could run and play and all could lounge and relax. You could have stayed on the property the whole time and had a beautiful vacation.
The location was also perfect. Less than 1 minute drive to the local beach which was never crowded. One of the few local beaches where you have ocean on one side and a pond on the other which was a great option for easier swimming for the little kids. Just down the driveway from the house were walking trails, which was another great feature. And for convenience, the property was perfectly situated between Sconset (less than 10 mins) and downtown Nantucket (less than 15 mins). We even biked to Sconset a few times - the house has two great cruiser bikes!
We absolutely loved it and hope to come stay again soon!!

An awesome week
We had 4 generations stay at Belles gift, and it could not have gone better. There is everything you need for any activity, and the kitchens, beds, appliances were all fantastic. The huge lot of land is beautiful, and we came home to a family of deer at the end of each day. Very cool to be greeted like that, the kids loves it. Plenty of opportunities to relax, and a 2 minute drive to the secluded Quidnet Beach. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Thank you to the Vidoni family for being awesome hosts.

Wonderful house and experience at Belles Gift. The property (especially the backyard) is really amazing. Bob is a great, responsive host. I would highly recommend - especially for groups. The cottage was perfect and separate from the main house for our friends traveling with an infant.

Wonderful Week!
Our extended family had a truly memorable week at Belle’s Gift. It is a very nice, comfortable, well-equipped house in a beautiful country setting. The property is a short bike ride to the beach and the quaint village of Sconset, and there are several close by areas for nature walks. Nantucket town with its many restaurants and shops is readily accessible by the island bus or car. If you are looking for a restful vacation experience, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely stay in Quidnet
Thank you for a most enjoyable two weeks at Belle's Gift. The house was so peaceful and the location was perfect - less than a mile's morning walk to the beach with the dogs, and on such a pretty part of the island. We loved it. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great family trip
We had a wonderful stay at Belle's Gift with extended family. The huge yard and distance from busy roads allowed us to relax while our kids ran wild! We enjoyed many wonderful meals on the patio and all in all had a fantastic trip. Thank you, Bob!

Absolute paradise!
This is our third time staying at this property and we continue to enjoy this awesom property even more each year. Our dogs love the big private backyard to chase balls or just to sit with the family enjoying the back patio. Our group usually does there own thing during the day but we always meet back at the patio and the lovely large table to enjoy appetizers, share the stories of the day and make plans for dinner. The house is very comfortable and well equipped including bikes, extra beach chairs and umbrellas. Hop to be back soon.

Lovely home
We enjoyed our stay at Bob and Virginia's home for the week. They were very responsive during our stay, quick to answer any question that we had. The home has everything a family may need, including spices for cooking and beach bicycles. We biked the one mile to Quidnet beach nearly every day. I would recommend this wonderful home.

Beautiful, wonderful, and very well maintained!
This is our second stay at Belle’s Gift on the island of Nantucket. We enjoyed our stay just as much as the first time in 2015. The weather was very nice for October. We highly recommend this place for anyone that loves being close to the beach but having total privacy at the same time. Our dog magic loved having the space to run around on the property. Five stars!

Felt like home
We loved our stay at Belle's Gift! Twelve of us came in for a girls' weekend to check out the annual Nantucket Christmas Stroll. It was the perfect house for playing games, cooking and watching movies by the fire. It was a bit hard to find - even for the locals - but felt very cozy and just like home when we finally arrived.

A Memorable Thanksgiving
It takes a special place to make a Thanksgiving away from home feel like you are in fact home. The Vidoni's home with all the amenities and furnishings is warm and cozy, you instantly feel a sense of relaxation. In all the years we have vacationed in Nantucket, this is the first time we did not stay in town. I now see Nantucket in a whole new light. Quidnet is expanse of peace and calm. The Pilgrims' 1st Thanksgiving may have lasted three days but our 5 night stay was pretty special..
Thanks so much to Bob and Virginia.

Beautiful, idyllic, peaceful, perfect
Ever since I can remember we have spent our Nantucket summers in town. This year we went up-country and are now converts. Quidnet is a beautiful location with easy access to a number of beaches and walks. The house surpassed our expectations in every way and the owner was exceptionally accommodating and quick responding to a number of requests we had during the first few days of our stay. Especially appreciated - the big yard which was perfect for the kids, the kitchen with every machine and utensil imaginable, the induction stove which is perfect for boiling water for corn and lobster en masse, and a very comfortable living and dining area which easily accommodated our large and boisterous family. We absolutely loved our time here.

Rabbit Hill by Robert Lawson 1944 first edition
I believe the greatest compliment we can pay our hosts is the say that we truly felt as though we were actually their own personal guests and the ONLY thing missing was them!
Of all the places we have traveled over many years both here and abroad, we can easily say this is among the most memorable. And being able to stay with our canine family just completed our bliss. As a matter of fact on one of our lazy afternoons our shepard, Anais and I decided to retreat to the hammock down beyond the house only to be joined, much to our delight, by not one but three resident rabbits. And so there we were laying on the grass, me holding Anas' collar of course, observing our company and enjoying every bit of it, hence, my opening title. Rabbit Hill is actually a beloved book from childhood.
Every morning and every evening we would see the rabbits appear on the knoll of the hill.
Upon first settling in one would truly think you were in a stunning countryside, certainly not 1 1/2 miles from the sea. I do believe this may well be the only rental on all of Nantucket to offer such a setting. Unique in everyway!
The home is so well-appointed that it is nearly impossible to note everything and for that do it justice!
Belle's Gift is just that, a beautiful gift extended to all who stay. And to the owners who so graciously share such a magical destination.
Cannot wait to visit once again.

Tranquil Nantucket Paradise
We've been enjoying Nantucket for the past 20 years and this was the first year we've stayed in Quidnet. The location was not only great for avoiding much of the notorious summer traffic mid-island, but also a photographer's dream. From the moment we pulled up the shell driveway, we knew we found a nonpareil destination to get away from it all!
The vast, beautiful yard was perfect for outdoor fun as a family or peaceful summer reads at the back of the yard—alone in the hammock. The amenities were beyond ample, with high-end essentials provided...everything necessary to cook wonderful meals in the kitchen, grill on the patio or relax in comfort with the endless supply of luxurious linens and blankets throughout the house. The huge upstairs deck was our favorite spot for morning coffee, looking out over the beautiful landscape, where we'd watch our 3 boys and dog thoroughly enjoy morning play in the yard...and don't forget evening cocktails on the deck, watching the sunset—a definite must for anyone enjoying this home.
Between the beautifully furnished main house, comfortably quaint cottage and island location—you couldn't ask for a better setting to allow for rest and relaxation, nature excursions, bike rides to Quidnet beach (much quieter than most of the island beaches), and serene privacy to create wonderful family memories.
The owners have certainly created a "serene oasis" at Belle's Gift and we were grateful for Bob's warm and attentive nature, making sure our stay was first class. We can't wait to return!

We had 4 adults and 6 kids between 2-7... and the house was perfect! It was functional and comfortable and had just about everything we needed already there. Thanks for a great vacation!
