This VRBO is safe, affordable, ultra clean, swanky, and has multiple comfortable seating arrangements to relax in after a long day of travel. It gave me Golden Girl vibes in the best way. I would have preferred a keurig because that's what I'm used to, otherwise it's a spacious oasis lacking for nothing!!

Nice stay in a nice neighborhood. Only complaint was the neighbor kids shining lasers at us along with trying to video us from their second story window, while we were enjoying time on the patio.

This house was perfect!! Love how it’s decorated! The beds were very comfy, the back yard is amazing! The house is fully stocked with everything you need and more!! It was very clean and the neighbor is fabulous! We will definitely stay again next time we come back to Amarillo!

Was a great home!

What a wonderful property in so many ways!!! We stayed here for two weeks in July/ August while my husband was in Amarillo for work. The property is so fun, fresh and funky! The floor plan is large and easily accommodated our family of 5, and even plus the nieces and nephews when they came to visit. The property is on a large sprawling lot that backs up to a beautiful creek. The home is fully stocked and beds very comfortable. We Would’ve loved a King bed in the master, but the bed was still great! The two living rooms were wonderful for having kids with us! The property owners live next door and are so kind abs accommodating. Our a/c even went out and was fixed with in 2 HOURS! The neighbor is quaint and quiet, and safe. This is a little out of town, but still a quick drive abs worth it for the serenity! Thank you so much!!!

We loved everything about our stay. The house is perfect, the owners are so kind and friendly. My kids LOVED the cookies and playing in the yard and driveway. We will book this every time we visit Amarillo!

Just the view to the backyard made us feel on vacation. And helped us forget why we were there. Since we had major plumbing issues at our home. it is a great, quiet, and safe neighborhood.

In town to visit family, we typically stay with my parents, and have only recently tried VRBO. The first time was last summer, when we wanted to see family, but wanted also to maintain some distance during COVID-19; and now again, as my parents’ home is under renovation. Last summer’s property was not available for our preferred dates, thus, we chose this one. We’re new to VRBO, but we rely heavily on reviews when making a selection of hotel/resort/rental, therefore I’ll do my best to be thorough and objective here. First, the neighborhood is lovely. A bit out-of-the-way, but not inconveniently so, the area is very quiet (the train tracks nearby are no issue at all), there’s very sparse traffic, and the natural environment is green and pretty. My impression is that it’s very safe for walking or jogging, free from both excessive vehicle traffic and nefarious characters. The house is good. It met nearly all of our needs, based on the VRBO listing. When we arrived, the code given for back door access didn’t work, but a quick call to the property manager for the correct code resolved the minor hiccup. There was a plate of beautiful cookies in the kitchen, along with a bottle of Prosecco—a charming and unexpected welcome. Bedrooms are close together, which is helpful given that we have young children. The kitchen/family room area is spacious and open, so it’s easy to gather, eat, watch tv, and all be together. The beds were comfortable. Bath linens and bath mats were plentiful and high quality. The carpet in the bedrooms and the rug in the family room are rather dodgy in a few places, but we had house shoes for padding around the house, so if spots bother you, bring house shoes of some type. The carpet didn’t seem dirty, just spotted from years of heavy use. I suppose that may be typical of vacation rental. The house was very clean—not a single insect or arachnid and no cobwebs. We had a misunderstanding, hopefully resolved satisfactorily, regarding garage use. Even though the code which opened the back door from which we accessed the home also opened the garage door, the garage is not available for guest use. This is a bit of a concern to us during hailstorm season or severe winter weather trips. Again, new to VRBO, we now know to clarify things like that before assuming that accessibility means available for guest use. In all, this is a fun, very clean, safe property at a very reasonable price.

One of the best properties we have stayed at! The attention to detail impressed us so much. They were very prompt to communicate with us when we reached out. We will definitely stay here again when we travel to Amarillo.

The home was the perfect setting for our family to come together and celebrate to family members that had passed. We had the opportunity to reminisce and be together in Amarillo. It was perfect!

We came to Amarillo for a family event. Our three grown children, two spouses and three grandchildren. The house was perfect, it felt like home. The house was so well decorated. It felt like home. Everything was provided for us. We could not have had a better experience.

The house was awsome lots of room and worked well for family gathering. Owners got back with us one every message within an hour. Was a great stay.

This home underwent a master plan renovation and it was done to perfection. The host thought of everything that you didn’t know you wanted to make me and my family feel comfortable during our stay. That being said, I will say there were a few snags. Twelve people arrived after 8+ hours of driving and we weren’t able to enter. After calling several times the host told my they gave me the wrong code. I’m pretty annoyed but after entering I quickly forget because of how pleasantly surprised I am! The photos are nice, but they really don’t do the home justice. This pleasant feeling carries through until we realize the TV’s do not work. After troubleshooting we realize there’s an issue, the host was very responsive and offered to send someone right away but we didn’t feel up to it. We weren’t there under the best circumstances. In the morning the coffee maker stopped mid brew into cleaning mode, it overflowed everywhere twice! Again, the host was very responsive and provided a brand new coffee maker delivered within 2 hours but we were already in line for a carafe. This was a very big deal to us! We were upset. Three different households, 7 adults, 5 kids, no TV, no coffee! Coffee and TV is a basic amenity that even Motel 6 provides and for a lot less than this home. After we received oxygen in the form of coffee we were no longer heart broken. The kids played on the beautiful outdoor area which included a basketball court, trampoline, soccer goals, a slide off of the creek, etc. The property line is odd, these items weren’t included in the amenities but were on the property....kinda. Past reviews mentioning some of these amenities not listed in the description added more to the confusion. We used the stuff, nobody yelled at us, so I’m hoping that was okay. I’m going to give these people the benefit of the doubt because I refuse to believe someone paid such great attn to detail and put so much care into this property just to have it managed poorly. I’m also not trying to burn any bridges because I may have to stay here again within the year. Yes, I would stay here again, but only after receiving written/verbal confirmation basic amenities in the home have been tested and are in working order.

This is a beautiful home. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and the yard is amazing. We were very comfortable and will certainly check its availability for future visits to Amarillo.

This house was simply amazing. Plenty of room for our family of 11 in for our daughters wedding, extremely clean and organized, great neighborhood, and impeccably decorated! I highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again if needed.

This was the perfect place to stay for our baseball tournament weekend. The kids loved having a backyard to play catch and the room to move around inside. We (adults) loved that we had plenty of room, access to lots of coffee, and the other little touches provided by the owners. It was nice to be able to prepare easy meals during a busy weekend. Everyone is looking forward to staying here again for our next tournament.

We’ve stayed in more than 50 VRBOs and this was definitely in our top 5!! Decorated beautifully and so quiet! Loved the back yard...Bravo!!

Perfect space for all ages and to stir up the creative soul

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. It was nice to have a relaxing place to come back to at the end of a busy day. We will definitely stay again if it’s available next time we travel to Amarillo!

Overall this property was great. You can tell that the host has gone out of her way to stock the house with necessities to make guests feel welcome. We LOVED the back yard and the tree house (though it is old and not safe for unsupervised children). The house was nice, but some instructions were lacking. With a bit of refining on the instructions and a few housekeeping issues sorted out, this listing will be an excellent house to return to again and again.

I was so hesitant to book this house because I couldn’t imagine anything being up to my standards in Amarillo. But I have to tell you these people really outdid themselves. The homeowners paid attention to every single detail. You couldn’t want for a single thing in this home, Veuve champagne at New Year’s, Caribbean style decor, fluffy comforters, elegant lighting, Gourmet kitchen and surround sound! I can promise you there is no place in Amarillo as good as this place. Book it!

We had a fantastic time at this beach-house like home. It a lovely home and the owners were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure the house was in tip-top shape for us.
