Loved how close we were to Linden ave. The worker bee cafe had the best breakfast and it was a block and a half away. Walking to the beach was nice to. Would of been nice to be made aware of the tar on the beach and ways to remove it but not a deal breaker.

This was an immaculate 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the decor modern and clean, and the location was great. Just blocks from the beach. We only stayed three nights, but I would definitely come back and stay longer if I the opportunity arises.

This is a beautiful location and small quaint unit. Clean and well maintained. Our issue was with check in.
I booked unit A and had confirmation. The property management double booked unit A and ended up switching us to unit B the day we checked in after the check in time. We needed to call the management for the code after disturbing the renters in unit A. This caused us to move in later then the check in time.
This caused great confusion. On the bright side, The management answered when I called and resolved the issues.

This was a lovely unit with attention to detail! Firstly it was impeccably clean. The decor was cute and thoughtfully selected. The unit was well appointed everything one could need for a weekend stay!

The communication from the hosts was great! Their property was top notch all the way. Everything was exactly as pictured, brand new and clean with quality furniture, linens and kitchen amenities. It was such a gem to find this place!!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfy and the location is great. Super close to great restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s great! The unit is clean and comfortable. The towels are plentiful and big and fluffy. The kitchen is well-stocked. I LOVE the location — within easy walking distance to all the local restaurants AND to the beach. The building feels safe, and parking is super easy. We bring our own beach wagon, but I noticed the unit provides one in the closet! Such nice touches. This place might not be the best for someone who likes to sleep in late. The dance studio next door can play its music loud, and like any unit in a shared building, noise depends on your neighbors. :)

This property was excellent. It was clean, well furnished, well maintained and close to the main street in Carpinteria. We would definitely come back! We loved being able to walk everywhere (beach, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery). The property owner was quick to respond (although could not do much as the problem was with the internet provider) when we asked a question/had an issue.
That said, this property uses cox internet and during our 5 day stay, the internet was out about 50% of the time. If you are staying at this property, and need the internet because you are working "remotely", make plans for a wifi hotspot or to use your phone as a wifi hotspot. I am not sure what internet options are available for this property but the cox internet was very poor (yes even did modem/router reboots).

The place was beautifully remodeled, very clean and very well equipped. It went beyond our expectations. Very walkable! We walked to the beach, boardwalk, cute bungalows, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping, bank, ice cream and the candy store. Leah and her husband were great and very responsive. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at the Watermark property in Carpinteria. The location was excellent, and the unit was very clean. Would definitely recommend to others, and would certainly stay here again.

The apartment was great and perfect for our family. Very walkable to many restaurants and shops. The patio area in front was nice to have and the outdoor shower was perfect for coming back from the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Shared washer dryer outside the unit and parking spaces in the building itself were limited.
Otherwise the unit was much better than we expected from the pictures and we used the outdoor seating area quite a bit and that was nice.
Neighbours that moved into the unit next door were loud past the hours that the rental instructions/guide had asked. Not the issue of the rental itself and unavoidable but people with small kids who are sensitive to noise might have an issue. We overlapped only 3 nights (2 of which were loud but due to the TV in their unit sharing the wall with our bed) so we didn't raise it with them.
The admin offices are in the same location so very responsive to messages and helpful with ad hoc requests.

Wonderful Location, Great Stay
My wife and I stayed here for a week with our two young children. We loved the location (such a close walk to so many restaurants) and really enjoyed our stay. It was a great place to come back to at the end of a day at the beach.

Wonderful stay in Carpinteria
Stayed at the property for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend and it was a great experience. Property is beautiful, comfortable, well maintained and a 10-15min walk to the beach. There are restaurants and stores close by. Overall an unforgettable vacation. Hope to be back sometime.

My husband and I shared our unit with our adult niece. We were very happy with the aesthetics and cleanliness. The kitchen was spacious, clean and well stocked with the necessities, although we didn’t cook because there were plenty of places within a few blocks to eat. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, to the beach, and to the local businesses. We would stay here again.

We used the patio grill and table on numerous occasions (of note, it’s shared with three other units, which was never an issue for us). The only reason I couldn’t give it five stars was due to the a/c going out around 8pm one of the evenings we were there. We called Leah and she did come with new batteries for the thermostat (which didn’t help) and then gave us a floor fan, which we put in our daughters room since we didn’t feel comfortable having the windows open in her room overnight. Unfortunately it still stayed in the 70’s in the unit overnight, even with our and the kitchen windows open, which was a bit uncomfortable for us. They fixed the a/c the following morning and it worked without issue after. Obviously it was out of their control, but quite an inconvenience while being on vacation. Had the a/c not been an issue, everything would have been perfect.
