The bedroom and bathroom set up worked perfectly for our family. We had a couple of toddlers who were able to play upstairs, downstairs and on the deck just great. We loved the trail on the property. The location was great to meet up with extended family for hiking and picnicking together at various parks nearby. Enjoyed the hot tub as well! We enjoyed our stay a lot.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The drive to hocking hills is about 30 mins away. There is a walmart and Logans antique mall 13 minutes away. A kroger, CVS and other fast food options around too. A nice little area to walk around with the family & with kiddos. The playground is near the pond area. There isnt a washer and dryer, which is okay. There is a pool table and the family enjoyed many games. A couple down falls, the closet in one of the upstairs restroom smelled like cigarette smoke as well as the towels provided in the downstairs restroom. The two downstairs bedrooms had an odd smell in one of the closets and the other room, most of the bedsheets had to be taken off due to having an unpleasant smell. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The canin was awesome. Comfy beds the hiking and waterfalls on property were great! The younger kids love playing in the creek and the fish pond.And everyone loved making smores by the camp fire.

The cabin is just 25 min away from caves and hiking. Plus there’s hiking on the property and a small pond. My family and 2 dogs had a great time!

friends we haven’t seen in awhile came into town so we wanted to stay somewhere nice with things to do. we found the trails and the pond was beautiful

This little cabin was such a nice little getaway for our a cappella group! Everything was so nice and cozy and very clean!

The property was wonderful and easy to find. We took our family gifts to open there and they had two Christmas trees up decorated. The beds were very nice as were the bed and bath linens. We all enjoyed our stay.

Check in was seamless and the property was incredibly cozy! The only bump in the road was the hot tub breaking down but we were offered to use the hot tub at a vacant cabin nearby which was very considerate and appreciated!! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I only wish we would’ve stayed longer! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place for a family to stay. We hiked on the property and in Hocking Hills. The grandsons enjoyed the pool table. There was space for families to spread out and be together. The house was well supplied with foil, soap, etc. We had a great Thanksgving.

What a great property. Stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Beds were comfortable and clean. Easy to get in and out.

The kids loved the property. It was wonderful that everything was right there and we didn't have to leave for trails or fishing. Convenient location to shopping if you forget stuff...like we did ;)

Very pleased with the bedrooms space and bathrooms because we had 5 individual families in our extended family. The basement provided ample play space for kids. Great eating area with large tables end to end. Suggestions: more large cooking supplies as we did our own cooking for meals . We were not aware of the need to bring own dish towels.

Easy process!

It was a very nice place and beautiful property. We had a great time there and will likely go again. The only negative was that we were expecting a pullout couch in the entertainment room, but we made it work.

The area is great country setting with easy access to the city and close to all kinds of outdoor fun and activities

Cabin was fantastic for family of 14. Clean, fully stocked with linens, kitchen essentials, and both deck and patio where great! All beds were very comfortable. My favorite was a hike with grandchildren down the creek and watching them swim in the deeper pools. Will definitely return!

Great for a getaway with friends. All 5 rooms entirely private with bathrooms adjacent. Plenty of open space for gathering, and outdoor areas for activity.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the property and trails were fantastic! Our only complaint would be the odor coming from the septic system, we sensed the odor while around the fire pit and hot tub.

Our adult children, two grandsons (infant and toddler) and our dogs stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. Great location close to our home yet far enough away. Beautiful area. The cabin was the perfect size for us and the property was great!! Beautiful trails. The owners were wonderful and communicating was easy. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed this house. It was roomy for all 14 of us. The pool table was enjoyed as well as the hot tub. We had a great time gathering in the kitchen / living room enjoying the fire and each other's company. The host was easy to get a hold of and was super helpful in any questions that we had. The property was great as we walked the trails behind the house. A great time was had. We will come back to this house it its available the next time we come.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The communication was good and the check in was super easy. It’s in a very convenient location to go to stores and have your space away from other people. The check out process was super easy and straight forward which is always nice. Great place to stay for a weekend or week get away.

My family and I had a great time! We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of other supplies like towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, etc....The upper deck and lower patio are awesome! The playground, pond and trails were pretty much in our back yard. The babies loved going on a hike and splashing in any water they could find! There's also a lake close by where we the we rented paddle boats and the babies played on the beach. Everyone had a great trip! Would definitely stay here again!!

Plenty of parking, rooms, room to eat and relax, and bathrooms. We were surprised to learn the fishing pond and trails were shared with all properties. If that is on the rental page, it's inconspicuous. Enjoyed back deck, but NO rocking chairs as advertised. The smell of sewer from septic system influenced where we sat on back deck, it needs serviced. The bath towels all smell like they were laundered in a smoking facility. Attention to detail will make this place a GREAT place. We left it cleaner than it was when we arrived. You have a great spot, but attention to detail on these things would have made it much more enjoyable.

We really enjoyed this property. It had enough rooms for all of us, was close enough to the hiking we wanted to do, and enjoyed the local path on the property too. We will be back!

My family had a great time, the cabin and area are even better then described. The cabin was very clean & well stocked with anything you would need. Would definitely recommend.

This is an out standing place to stay in Hocking hills. The property, cabin, and service was outstanding. We would stay here again.

The house was well fitted for our group of 10. Enjoyed the rec room, hot tub, fire pit and overall area! The large kitchen table was great although would have been nice to have some additional seating in the upstairs living area. Very easy to work with the owners and check in was a breeze!

My family of 7 stayed two nights everything was well kept and clean. We would definitely go back. Owner was professional and always answered messages promptly.

We had a great time, the weather was perfect, Houston House was the perfect size for us!! Clean, spacious and the trails were nice on the property too!
